Thank you so much, Dominic, for an incredible 60th birthday dinner!!! This was our first visit to Folia, and we will definitely be back again. We each had the three-course tasting menu, and Dominic provided excellent service and recommendations. For each course, there was at least one vegetarian option. I am still dreaming about the basil pesto radiatore pasta - the best I've ever had! I also loved the beet and eggplant entrée. The flavors and textures were so delicious, unique, and creative. I highly recommend starting your evening with a cocktail upstairs at Andy's Beeline and staying at the Appellation Healdsburg hotel. (Pro tip - there is no corkage fee at Folia for a bottle of Sonoma wine.)

Second visit, this time for brunch. I do live the vide of this place, the service is excellent and the food is lovely. The eggs today were so golden yellow - feel local farm fresh was demonstrated. Well worth a visit.

This place is simply stunning. We stayed at the hotel and decided to stop by the restaurant for drinks and dinner. The food was absolutely exceptional, bursting with flavor and meticulously crafted. The cocktails were unique and incredibly delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuine, and the owner was very approachable and easy to chat with. I highly recommend visiting the hotel and restaurant if you're in the Napa area.

I truly wish I could give this restaurant zero stars. One of the worst fine dining experiences I've had, to make matters worse their leadership is completely unresponsive, to patrons. I've sent inquires via the website on how to alert their management to the problems we experienced and no response so I went back in and asked for the GM's business card, David Emig, I wrote an email explaining my concerns and experience, no response. This location doesn't want to improve because they don't care about feedback. I hope chefs Reid and Charlie Palmer read how their staff is truly struggling to make this restaurant a successful restaurant. This was my 40th birthday celebration and we did the pre fixe menu. The service and the food were a serious disappointment. We mentioned the celebration in the reservation, ZERO acknowledgement of this. Michael the server was arrogant, didn't explain anything, acted like he started us off with a small champagne cheers when the server next to us explained to his table it's Charlie Palmer's philosophy to do so. I ordered the ribeye steak for 2 and asked it be prepared medium. It came out rare and asked it be cooked a little bit longer it came back well done (the steak was clearly put back on the grill and replated very messy and then was incredibly tough and barely edible and also seriously missing salt). By the time we got the steak my mother was done with her meal and we felt defeated. Then for dessert no acknowledgment of my birthday, no candle (if you don't do candles no chocolate spelling happy birthday on the plate) and he got our order wrong didn't even notice it. We ordered two hazelnut chocolate mousse and got a lemon meringue tart instead. I wouldn't order any meat items here. They aren't purveyors and chefs of meat/steak because they don't understand meat temperatures. To pay around $100 for a pre fixe menu per person and doing a $35 dollar add on you expect the steak to be cooked properly and if it's not and there is a mistake then acknowledge that. Michael said and did nothing to address the meat issue, the mix up with desserts while I'm trying to celebrate a milestone birthday which feels unacceptable for a fine dining restaurant. To make this all worse. I personally emailed David Emig the GM and no response since 7/3. Quite possibly one of the worst mismanaged establishments in Sonoma County. Also, we are locals so we keep these businesses afloat when tourism dies the winter. My suggestion if you want to have a dining experience in Healdsburg pop over to Montage Hazel Hill, far superior in terms of food and service.

Folia had a great atmosphere! The food was fantastic! They probably had the best oysters I've ever had! My only complaint about this restaurant is that they don't communicate on their website that they only offer limited dinner menus depending on the day of the week. We expected to have a lot more options than we did and were disappointed we don't get to try some of the things we wanted because of that!

Tonight we sat outside on the patio, and the ambience was absolutely beautiful. Honestly, I think we could hear each other better outside than we would have indoors. Both the interior and exterior spaces are stunning -- warm lighting, thoughtful decor, and an overall atmosphere that feels elegant but relaxed. We learned that the property has over 20 olive trees, each between 125 and 150 years old, scattered throughout the grounds, which really adds to the charm. Service was excellent. The sommelier stopped by, as did several staff members throughout the evening, but it never felt repetitive or impersonal. Everyone was attentive and in sync, which I really appreciated. They offer a pre-fixe menu with a choice of first and second courses, followed by a dessert course from a separate menu. You can also add à la carte appetizers or nightly specials. For my first course, I had the Manila clam pasta -- a well-balanced dish with an interesting sauce that was both buttery and slightly tart, featuring bits of bacon. Delicious and unique. The complimentary bread basket was another highlight -- a mix of assorted breads served with soft butter sprinkled with sea salt flakes. For our appetizer, we shared the savory bread pudding, which was excellent -- tender, flavorful, and topped with finely shaved cheese. For my main course, I chose the cioppino. It was good -- the seafood was cooked properly, and the fennel added a nice touch -- but it lacked depth of flavor and portion size compared to other dishes at the table. The duck, on the other hand, was outstanding: rich, tender, and perfectly cooked. The steak also looked incredible, so I'd recommend either of those as a main. For dessert, our table of five ordered all five options to share. The standout for me was the pistachio cheesecake -- creamy, balanced, and beautifully presented. I paired it with a decaf Americano that was smooth and satisfying. After dinner, we went upstairs to the bar, which was lively and had an equally beautiful atmosphere. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and while we didn't stay for drinks, I'd love to return to enjoy cocktails there next time. Valet parking is available for just $11 -- very reasonable, especially since there's also street parking nearby. You can text the valet when you're ready to leave, and they'll have your car waiting. Overall, the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Great ambience, attentive service, and a fair price point for a three-course dinner. I would absolutely come back -- next time for both dinner and drinks upstairs. 4.5 Stars.

Folia Kitchen & Bar in Healdsburg has a beautiful modern ambiance and a very nice atmosphere. The food overall was great, though I have to admit seeing a chicken foot on the roasted chicken was a bit of a turn-off for me personally. The drinks and desserts were delicious and definitely worth trying. The service was absolutely top notch, and the resort grounds are stunning, which really adds to the overall experience. A solid spot for dining in Healdsburg!

We have been twice now and had a great experience both times. One visit was dinner in the lounge and most recently we went for lunch. The service and atmosphere is as good as you can get. The food has been fresh and flavorful both visits. The property is beautiful as well. I highly recommend Folia.

Our first time to Folia and it was a great experience. The setting and ambiance is wonderful and they hired very well. From the valet, Armando, to our server, Remi, and everyone we interacted with were so attentive and had great interpersonal skills. We went to on a Monday for the $2 oysters but decided to try a few other dishes as well and we're not disappointed, will definitely go back and try more items in the menu.

First off, they were so welcoming when we checked in. And I love that it's so pet friendly. Hostess that checked us in was a doll. The inside decor and the layout was so cute. One side is the hostess counter and right across from there is a waiting lounge area which I believe is also utilized for dining. Walking through, they have indoor seating to one side and the bar area to the opposite. Also dining available along the hi top bar counter. We had a big group which they had us set up on the patio. Another beautiful layout. It's like dining in a community garden slash secret garden. Our waitress who took care of us was amazing. So sweet and very friendly. Not just her but the entire staff there. Menu wise looked amazing. Also it was also a recommendation from one of the staff at a winery we were just at. Drink menu was quite huge too. Of course food was on our mind and it did not disappoint. Big group meant a lot of share plates to start off. A double of things ordered to start off. Daily crudo which was served with wonton chips. Fresh fish with all spices and marinaded. It was fresh and delicious. You gotta have oysters if it's available. Curry deviled eggs was quite tasty as well. Your classic eggs with a little twist. Mushroom egg rolls were a hit. It literally came piping hot so it was a little wait till we enjoy it and it was delicious. Came with two dipping sauce which paired very well. Salsa macha fries, similar concept as the elote corn with the coltija cheese, lime creme and cilantro. Brisket can also be added which we opted out for. Then there was the grilled Vietnamese steak with the not so sticky rice in a cube form. Cooked perfectly and the crunchiness of the rice was perfect. Also the dipping sauce was great. Beef brisket tacos were another hit. Two orders and loaded with meat and all the topping. Very flavorful and delicious. Cant come here and not have their almost famous chicken tenders. Big chunks of chicken battered and fried to a nice golden color. It was so juicy and served with pickle chips and dipping. You can have it hot or now with the sauce. Crispy duck confit was delicious. Nice potion of duck with bitter greens and duck fat potatoes. Brazen burger, which was pretty massive. Classic burger but better and with bacon and fries. Then you have the kimchi noodles, added chicken and shrimp or without. That dish was tasty. You either love kimchi or not and the way it was prepared with pasta, delicious. And lastly, the special was a hot ham sandwich I believe. Served with potatoes salad and gherkins. It was a hefty sandwich with loads of meat and cheese. Simply but so good. Food was excellent as we literally had loads from the menu. Of course loads of recommendations which I know why. The food was exceptional and service was great. Restaurant is beautiful and service was excellent. Also they're so pet friendly. Plus, we ordered a dog patty for the pup and it was quite tasty...lol.... Can't wait to come back, hopefully soon. Not sure if menu if set or it changes seasonally. Regardless, whoever is in charge of menu, chefs kiss.

I feel it's relevant to mention that I am an Indian man, born and raised in Ohio, and the other three members of our party, including my wife, are Caucasian. We were having a political discussion at our table. We had visited a winery beforehand, so I'll acknowledge that our conversation may have been louder than average, but there was no arguing, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate language. My wife, who was part of the main conversation, was not even drinking alcohol. After taking our drink order, our server returned and refused to serve alcohol--but only to me. When we respectfully asked why, he stated that he could not serve me because of my accent. Wanting to be absolutely certain we understood him correctly, my wife asked, "Just to clarify, you're telling us that you're refusing to serve only my brown husband because of his accent?" He confirmed that was the reason. I'm sure the restaurant may later claim the decision was based on intoxication, but that was not the explanation we were given. The first two reasons provided were explicitly that it was because of my accent. For the record, I don't believe I even have an accent--but even if I did, that should never be grounds to refuse service. We left without eating, though we still paid for the drinks that had already been served. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously, because no guest should be singled out and denied service for something like this.
