I really wanted to give this place five stars as I was super excited to finally try this restaurant. My husband and I have been to Annapolis multiple times. We passed by this restaurant pretty often and really weren't quite certain what it was. This past weekend he and I decided that we were going to try a new Italian restaurant in our favorite city in Maryland, Annapolis. The waitress we had was wonderful. She did an excellent job explaining everything to us. The problem started when she went over the specials, I decided to go with a seafood special that included pasta. However, when it came out to me, it was risotto, not pasta. My husband decided to take my food and eat it, rather than send it back and it have to be re-cooked or who knows what. He said it was pretty good. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the pieces of lobster that were in the risotto were very good. When the waitress came back, we brought it to her attention and you could tell she was pissed for us. She then brought out a small piece of Cheesecake. That was really nice of her, like I said you could tell she was upset. The order was not put together the way she sent it in. My husband and I didn't make a fuss over the order being incorrect. In fact he is a real MVP for eating the risotto. My husband's food on the other hand was delicious. His pasta was perfect. It was fresh and the sauce on it, was delicious and it was not a large portion. We both had a drink. the bread was delicious and the ambience in the restaurant was amazing. I don't think I will go back only because I do believe there are other places to try and the prices were pretty expensive. My hubby and I will definitely spend money on food, but I have been to nicer places and not spent quite as much on pasta. 3 1/2 stars.

Sometimes you just need a place 'with a tablecloth'. Had enough of takeaway and fastish food. This is the real deal. Delicious food professionals serving ... great place for special occasions including 'just a good meal without hassle!' Fresh ingredients and nice decor ... alas not the dessert menu for me , not choco centric enuff! And no cannoli

This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant in DC until they closed so I was so glad to hear they reopened in Annapolis! My husband and I made the drive for a date night and were so glad we did. We started off with the baked ricotta and cheese balls that were to die for. So cheesy and saucy. Was a great way to start the meal. When then split the penne alla vodka and steak trio with asparagus. All three were delicious. The penne alla vodka was so cheesy and flavorful, maybe the best I've had! The steaks were all cooked to a perfect medium rare, as requested. We made sure to save room for dessert and split the dessert sampler which was a fabulous choice! You had the ability to try a little bit of everything and all 4 were delectable! The staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and kind. We will be back!

    Chilean Seabass

The Chilean sea bass was hands down the best thing I tried -- cooked perfectly with a super flaky, buttery inside and a nice crispy edge. It had this light, fresh flavor that didn't need a ton of extras to shine, and every bite just melted in my mouth. You can tell they really know how to handle their seafood here. The lobster and shrimp risotto was... fine. The seafood tasted fresh, and it was creamy like you'd expect, but it didn't wow me the way the sea bass did. Solid, but not something I'd come back just for.

This place was a nice vibe! I loved the ambiance. I walked into this restaurant on a whim and sat at the bar. Now, the bartender closer to me wasn't paying me any attention at first but we were all good once the other bartender came over to assist me. They started me off wit the bread and olive oil. I wasn't the biggest fan. The Espresso martini was pretty good. I ordered the Pici alla Fiaccheraia, which was tasty. The pasta itself was thick and the sauce was spicy with a hint of garlic. I also ordered the Filetto al Mirtillo, a filet mignon covered in a blueberry reduction. I was surely surprised. It was the bomb. At first, I was hesitant hearing the flavors but it did not disappoint. I was so intrigued. I actually can't wait to come back and try the steak again.

I was passing by and noticed the beautiful bar. I stopped in for one of their premier cocktails. Their Espresso Martini is made with in-house homemade coffee liqueur. It is excellent!

The chilean Seabass special was amazing, a bit pricy to be a regular eat out location. But perfect for a date night out or special occasion

Ambiance: Modern and sassy, but can be loud. I'd say it has a very energetic vibe. Not very intimate because of the, sometimes boisterous, patronage. There is a new dress code, but I didn't see it being enforced on a few. Not somewhere to have a quiet refined dinner, at least on a Saturday. However, there is outside seating, which actually is a little more relaxed, if the weather is cooperative. App steak rolls: These are always a hit when going here. Sadly I think these are going away because the new owners want a more authentic Italian restaurant. Steaks: We ordered 3 10 oz filets. 2 were cooked perfectly, the third was very rare in the center when all of them were supposed to be medium. Part of me thinks the back got the order wrong somehow, because the two others were perfect. Very strange. Truffle Fries: Very yummy, although to me, I felt it needed a tad bit more salt, but there is salt on the table as needed. I would definitely order these fries again.

We sat outside and loved the atmosphere. The fire torches gave it such a warm, romantic feel that we honestly forgot we were in the middle of Annapolis. Perfect for date night. I also appreciate that this is one of those rare places where you can dress up if you're feeling fancy, or go more casual and still fit right in. Service was attentive and welcoming without being overbearing--always a plus. If we're back in the area, we'll definitely be returning (and yes, for more pasta).

The restaurant was busy for the holiday, but the atmosphere was welcoming and family friendly. We appreciated the spacious seating, which made it easier to manage a toddler during brunch. The food was flavorful, portions were generous, and there were several options that worked well for both adults and little ones. The warm pretzel bread was a hit at our table. Service was attentive despite the holiday crowd, and the staff was accommodating when we needed extra napkins and a quick pace to keep our toddler entertained. Parking at Annapolis Town Center was convenient, which is always a plus when dining with young children. A few things to keep in mind: it can get noisy during peak brunch hours, and wait times may be longer on special occasions like Father's Day. Some families have reported slower service during busy periods, so reservations are highly recommended.

On our latest visit, I was curious about the new crab soup but didn't want a full bowl, so they kindly brought out a small cup to sample. That's the kind of service that keeps us coming back. We've enjoyed the mussels, local oysters, rockfish, filet, and lamb lollipops over multiple visits. The rockfish is consistently outstanding, and they know how to cook a medium-rare filet perfectly. The lamb lollipops are delicious but can occasionally be a little overcooked. Drinks were solid as well. My only suggestion is the HVAC. If you're seated under a vent during the warmer months, it can get quite chilly, so bring a light jacket or shawl. Overall, we love Carroll Creek and look forward to many more visits.

He was apologetic and so nice, but I started to feel uncomfortable asking for where our order was, water, etc. When he was serving he was excellent and I give him a pass. Delicious house Margarita and blueberry fizz to start and tasty, generous bread basket to start. Real standouts were the french onion soup and amazing hush puppies. Baked oysters were also great but came out a little cold to be excellent. I think the wait was because the order got lost or interrupted. The other dishes were hot out the kitchen. One of the better crab cakes sammie I've had in a minute with nice homemade potato chips. My wife devoured the soft shell crab special and the cronut was a nice finish. All in all, with a harbor view and good weather, a most satisfying if longer than expected meal!

They were pretty busy and the bar was packed to watch the Kentucky Derby. It was very cute inside and not too loud where you can't have a conversation. It did take a little bit before someone came and greeted us but our server was friendly and another individual (maybe a manager) was consistently helpful throughout the evening. We ordered a bottle of red wine to share and we were asked if we wanted a decanter to which we replied yes. He poured it in at our table with an aerator. For food, I ordered the City Dock Pizza and my friend ordered the Beef Bolognese. The City Dock Pizza was good - thinner crust but plenty of flavor. The Beef Bolognese was a lighter colored sauce than I anticipated. The pasta was good and the sauce was also good but not what I would consider a traditional Bolognese. We did order the Cheesecake and a couple glasses of prosecco and they were sweet enough to put in a candle for my friend's birthday. The cheesecake is DEFINITELY recommended, it was very good and came as a suggestion. It did not disappoint. Overall, had a great time and would definitely come back and everyone was really friendly.

He likes to travel by boat everywhere so this was fun pulling up to the marina area and just do the short walk over into the downtown area. Parking is always crazy for cars but I can attest parking boats in good weather is also a challenge. RRWB is small, they have outdoor seating, and it's one of those places that gets packed by default. Service was good. There was manager presence which was great but he didn't say hello to all patrons. He was quick to give a Navy serviceman attention, but missed out on saying hello to a young multi-millionaire patron. Not that it mattered to my friend but you just missed a notable person in plain ole casual wear. That to me was a miss. My sweet friend loves food too so of course he said I could order anything my heart desires (they all do and should), I love having foodie friends. Let's get into it! Pizza - Great! We ordered a pizza as an appetizer because I'm greedy and it did not disappoint! Crab Dip - I couldn't taste crab, he loved it! Crab stuffed shrimp - It was a special! I ate it all, I'm not a shy date! Thai Style Red Curry Salmon - HE RAVED about this! Drinks were great! He loved his old fashion and I loved my margarita! I'd come back if there was nothing else available but probably not just to come!
