My friends and I came here one evening and sat outside, it was a nice evening the outdoor patio was packed. Our server was very attentive and gave amazing recommendations. I ordered the crab cake and that was phenomenal one of my favorite dishes, the server also recommended us to get the sacchetti porcini and truffle which was an amazing recommendations and one of my favorite dishes. Lastly ordered the tiramisu with baileys and phenomenal one of our favorite Italian places for sure.

11.1.25 - been wanting to try this restaurant out and finally tried it! Was able to make reservations the day of. Tried to switch it to patio seating but it was already taken by the time I looked again. It's a cute little spot. Parking is always packed on the weekends in this area but I was lucky to find one nearby. Order: Old Fashioned x2 or 3 Other cocktail (don't remember which) x2 Prawn Cocktail Short Rib Pappardelle Chilean Sea Bass Everything was shared between two people. The appetizer was good. It's the same anywhere you get it. Both of the entrees were delicious! I loved the flavor of the short rib pappardelle sauce. The sauce on the sea bass was good too but out of two, I would choose the pasta. Kinda wished I had tried the cacio e pepe as well since they make that table side in the big cheese wheel. Will for sure get that as well as some other items next time!

Acqua di Mare was exactly what we needed. We went on a double date and from the moment we sat down, the vibe was warm, romantic, and quietly special. This is the kind of place where you slow down without being told to. The cacio e pepe finished tableside in the cheese wheel was both a fun little show and genuinely delicious. Not gimmicky, just very well done. The seafood risotto was fabulous, rich and comforting without being heavy, and clearly made with care. What really stayed with me though was the kindness. When they learned we were still grieving the loss of my mom, they surprised us with a free order of cannolis. Completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. Food was excellent, but that gesture made the night unforgettable.

Be transported to Italy... no passport required Tucked in downtown Chandler, Acqua Di Mare is the kind of place that makes you forget you're in the middle of the Arizona desert. From the moment you walk in, every detail is intentional--elegant, cozy, and effortlessly upscale without feeling stuffy. Indoor + outdoor dining Even in the PHX heat, the patio feels like a breezy Italian beachfront. By 5pm it's fully shaded, misters are on, doors are open, and soft Italian music sets the vibe. True Italian experience This is white tablecloth dining done right. Fresh plates and silverware with every course, impeccable service, and a team that hustles. Niko (the owner) is in the action--not sitting back--and Alex took incredible care of us. No freezers. Everything is fresh. They fly in their lobster. They fly in their meats. And yes... the 44oz A5 American Wagyu tomahawk from Durham, NC is as insane as it sounds. Tableside preparations (rare for this area!) - Tomahawk carved right in front of you - Fresh lobster prepared tableside - Pasta dishes finished in front of you - A unique, zesty tiramisu that's delicate and unforgettable That tomahawk? Two men shared it easily... and there was enough for a third. The vibe Think small Italian village energy--intimate, warm, and intentional. Even the artwork (hello Portofino vibes ) pulls you in. Small space = reservations are a must (They are expanding next door soon with a more casual bar + seating ) If you love elevated dining, fresh ingredients, and an experience--not just a meal--this place delivers. Support the mom & pops. This one is special

We've been here twice now, and both visits have been fantastic! I usually stick to the same dish if I love it, but on our second visit we decided to mix it up and order family-style--and I'm so glad we did. We had the Caesar salad, the sacchetti porcini & truffle pasta, and the beef Wellington, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Wellington was especially impressive--I've had one at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and this one truly measured up! On top of the amazing food, the service is wonderful. The owner is incredibly welcoming, and our server was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

Why: Our 20th Anniversary. Waited too long to decide where to go. Found Acqua Di Mare using Yelp. Only reservation for our specific 5:30pm Sat nite time slot was Patio. Nervously agreed. LOVED IT! Delightful cocktail & wine menu. Started with a perfectly balanced gin drink. Not too sweet. Not too citrusy. Had 3 to be sure Ceasar Salad crisp, lightly dressed, beautifully plated. Two perky anchovies hanging out for visual delight. Full bodied moist Bread w nice crust came in chunks, no annoying cutting board/knife & crumbs. Say "Yes" to the fresh basil & a small spoon of salt. Delish. Mains (no pics, forgot lol). 1. Chilean Sea Bass was luscious. Perfectly seasoned. Moist & fluffy. Wilted spinach & lightly whipped mound of potato were a great way to sop. 2. The pasta in the Parmesan Wheel is OffTheHook Good. Fresh pasta. Creamy rich but not oily. Full bodied flavor & texture. Husband added chicken, came roasted on the bone. Yum. Grand Finale: Cannoli Full disclosure, I dont even like cannoli. THIS one changed my mind. Outside crisp, flavorful. Filling Light! Fluffy! Just sweet enough to enjoy, not like the dense Frosting you find in most restaurants. Beautifully Plated - Every Dish! NOTE: During dinner we were already discussing what we were going to order on our Next Visit ......and the next after that!

The wife and I have walked by this place for years and always wanted to give it a try. However you pretty much need reservations to get a table at a decent hour. I finally bit the bullet and got later reservations for a Friday night at 8pm. The restaurant definitely had availability at that later seating. But would still recommend reservations. The cocktails were very good. Complementary bread was delicious. We started with the Octopus and it was cooked perfectly. My wife loved her Aqua Di Mare pasta and I really enjoyed my rigatoni. Can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes!

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Aqua Di Amare is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Chandler. I've been there at least 50 times, and every single visit has been consistently outstanding. Chef Leo absolutely delivers--every dish is crafted to perfection, full of flavor, and clearly made with passion. You can tell there's real pride in the kitchen. And Nicola, the owner, sets the tone for the entire place. His attention to detail and commitment to quality shows in everything--from the food to the service to the overall atmosphere. It's rare to find a restaurant that stays this consistent over time, but Aqua Di Amare nails it every single time. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality food and an amazing experience, this is the place. Highly recommend--you won't be disappointed.

Pasta and cheese sauce with fresh shaved truffle

This is a quaint Italian restaurant with a great outdoor porch. The pasta was fresh and the cheese sauce was made table side with fresh truffles shaved on top. The steak was baked in a pouch with vegetables. It was very tender and the vegetables savory. The service was impeccable with the waiter very attentive and well versed in wine.

I tried Acqua Di Mare for the very first time last night and I was pleased! This restaurant has all the coastal Italian vibes--and dare I say the flavors seem authentic?--Yes, absolutely! Service was superb; our server was very friendly and attentive. He recommended the seafood risotto and the carbonara. My partner and I both truly enjoyed our dishes. We will be returning to try more dishes. Stop by and enjoy!

This is a very cute restaurant with great customer service and absolutely amazing iced tea. However, seating is a drawback if you visit on a warm day; there are only 9 indoor tables, so we were forced to sit outside in the heat. We decided to stay because we drove an hour from our home to try this restaurant. They advertised tableside cooking, but was disappointed that this wasn't the case in reality. For example, the steak arrived in wrapped from in baking paper rather than being cooked table side. (They unwrapped it and served it) Additionally, they were out of the Dover Sole and it was disappointing because they convinced me to order it and was later informed that they did not have it. I ended up with the Branzino, which was good, and my mother was very happy with both the flavor and portion size of her Risotto Di' Mare. My father ordered the salmon that and he was happy with it. I am tempted to return, but definitely not during the summer unless I can secure an indoor table.

The dining area was clean and well maintained, with spotless tables and restrooms, which always makes a great first impression. We ordered two chicken shawarma plates: one with fries and hummus, and the other with salad and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the fries were crisp and well-spiced, and the hummus was smooth and delicious. We also tried the C1 combo Arabic style, which came with half chicken, half beef, and two sides. Both proteins were excellent, and the garlic sauce was a standout--we absolutely loved it. We couldn't help but notice many other customers enjoying salads, all of which looked fresh and generously topped with crisp vegetables. Portion sizes across the board were very good, leaving us satisfied with some to go. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.

Got the food fast and the rose water lemonade was good. Mango juice tasted like Jumex and that's yummy to me lol Waitresses were nice and attentive. Bathrooms and the floors in the dining area need some TLC. Hopefully the kitchens kept up with. Waters we did not drink. They should probably clean up the walkway to the bathroom too there was just a bunch of stuff. They also have a store attached which was cool. We didn't look but still cool. Chicken shawarma was bomb!

Living in a retirement state, I usually have to add salt to anything from a restaurant -- happy to discover that it wasn't needed. The soup was perfectly seasoned! I was reminded why I don't dine here more frequently, they put the 'meh' in Mediterranean. Starting with the ambiance, this place is looking old and weathered. Their store front is not very inviting. Once inside, you navigate through their dining area to the counter to order. The counter area looks more like an advertisement for other establishments...stickers, ads, coupons, notes and all sorts of motley items. The man who I think was doing three jobs in one (host, order taker, bathroom attendant) took my order and walked away. No friendly hello or enthusiasm of any kind. Once I took my seat I watched several people use their store just for the bathroom in the back...the back where there's no door separating the dining area vs. kitchen vs. warehouse vs. bathroom. People were standing in a line to use the restroom a foot from where my food was being made. I ordered a simple gyro sandwich with rice. The sandwich was pretty straight-forward: gyro slices, onions, tomatoes and tzatziki. When it arrive, there was no sign of tomatoes or onion...just different shades of brown drowning in too much tzatziki. I eventually found several onions and one tiny tomato underneath all the meat. Underneath...what a poor presentation. The rice was okay...nothing special. There was nothing here that would draw me back. Having several other Mediterranean food options within miles that I do enjoy has relegated this place to 'in emergency break glass' status.

We ordered a Greek Salad with Gyro and a Vegetarian platter, retrieved our drinks and found a table. Our food arrived about 10 minutes later. The Greek Salad was delicious and included greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, red onions and feta cheese. I added gyro as the protein and it was a generous portion. The Vegetarian plate was also generous and was enjoyed by my friend. It included three crispy falafel, hummus, tabouleh salad, baba ghannoug, 2 stuffed grape leaves and tahini sauce with pita bread. We look forward to returning. Highly recommended for delicious Greek food and generous portions at a fair price!

I can't find my pictures of the meal. I took another photo of today's meal but messed up and can't get it uploaded. I think I made it my profile picture. Actually that's a great profile picture so just look at that and you'll see the gyro plate. Anyway, to the point. This is one of the best Greek/Mediterranean restaurants I've eaten at. I'm not a Greek food aficionado but at least for the standard Greek restaurant fair to find an American Greek restaurant - delicious! Both times, unfortunately I couldn't order the kebabs because I didn't have time. They actually prepare them fresh and it takes about 25 minutes. I wanna come back and have those. Today, I had the gyro plate. Plenty of meat, delicious soft, fresh pita bread. Excellent hummus with a little olive oil in a pool in the center of it. The hummus is spread out in a , leaf or flour and there's plenty of it. Plenty of rice. And a delicious salad. They're dressing is so good. Not super sour/tangy. Great presentation too. The portions are more than enough. Really, two people could've eaten at my plate. The baklava is excellent. Service is good. Nice atmosphere. I love this place.
