This place is located on the "back side" of old town Chandler down somewhat quieter street by the parking garage. It has a cute inside and an inviting patio. My wife and I went for our 17th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Wine list: Solid choices across most of the major wine regions. Appreciated our server Alex understanding my wife looking for a sweeter wine and recommending the moscato, which wasn't on the menu. I had the Belle Glos Pinot Noir. Apps: The risotto had great flavor. Carrots and peas tasted fresh. I'm not a huge mushroom guy but this dish blended a nice butter and garlic finish with the earthiness of the mushroom quite well. Not sure if by design but the risotto was a little Al dente. Perhaps a personal choice for me liking it a little more cooked. However, I would 10/10 order this again. Caprese Salad was fresh and loved the way they stacked the tomato and mozz. Pesto was on point with those signature basil, garlic, and olive oil flavors. There was a perfect amount of basil, fresh ground pepper, and, balsamic vinegar to round out the dish. Another 10/10 would order. Entrees: I ordered the Beef Wellington, blue. I will be super honest, it's rare (pun intended) to find a place that truly cooks a steak blue. Chef Alejandro(Leo) cooked my steak to perfection. The steak was soft and flavorful. Paired with your choice of a Cabernet Au jus or bearnaise. I asked for both and each side of the plate came drizzled with them. The slight tartness of the bearnaise hit just the right amount with the buttery flakiness of the dough. The Cabernet had a nice light saltiness that really let the steak shine. 10/10 one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Would order again. My wife had the pasta Al a vodka. Chicken was cubed and cooked perfectly, not chewy, not firm, that perfect in between. The pasta came rolled and had a wonderful softness to it. It's hard to describe but it was a perfectly cooked noodles. The sauce was flavorful with good tomato and garlic, not too much just right and fresh. 10/10 would order again. Dessert: We had the table side crepe. There was a nice cinnamon vanilla vibe with the strawberry and whip cream. The crepe was a little chewy but overall a fantastic dessert I'd get again. The tiramisu was constructed at the table with each component layered in front of us an doused in hot espresso. We were a little suspect at first but it was one of best tiramisus we have had in the valley. Overall, an exceptional experience. This is a very cute restaurant with great customer service and absolutely amazing iced tea. However, seating is a drawback if you visit on a warm day; there are only 9 indoor tables, so we were forced to sit outside in the heat. We decided to stay because we drove an hour from our home to try this restaurant. They advertised tableside cooking, but was disappointed that this wasn't the case in reality. For example, the steak arrived in wrapped from in baking paper rather than being cooked table side. (They unwrapped it and served it) Additionally, they were out of the Dover Sole and it was disappointing because they convinced me to order it and was later informed that they did not have it. I ended up with the Branzino, which was good, and my mother was very happy with both the flavor and portion size of her Risotto Di' Mare. My father ordered the salmon that and he was happy with it. I am tempted to return, but definitely not during the summer unless I can secure an indoor table. read more

The place is very small but they are expanding to next door. They have several items that are serviced in a tableside style which is very entertaining and gives you you opportunity to see the various dishes and this contributes to a homey atmosphere. Food was exceptional I had the Rissoto del Mar which was a variety of Crab claw, scallops, mussels and shrimp served over the Rissoto. The dish was very flavorful and highly recommended. My family surprised me with a birthday dinner at a restaurant I've wanted to try for over two years, and unfortunately the entire experience fell unbelievably short of expectations--especially for a fine dining establishment with fine dining prices. The service was the first major issue. Our waitress was inattentive, rarely checked on us, and didn't seem knowledgeable about the menu at all. We had more interaction from bussers and hostesses than from her. Another server even stopped by just to make sure our food was alright because our own waitress was nowhere to be found. The food didn't make up for the poor service, either. I ordered the Beef Wellington--over $100--and it came out chewy and not cooked well. I was also told it would be served with mashed potatoes and asparagus, but it arrived with asparagus only. My younger daughter ordered a seafood pasta that lacked the amount of seafood you'd expect for the price it was, and her noodles were undercooked. My eldest daughter even joked that her Olive Garden job could've made a better pasta for free than what this place served for nearly $30. Even the $29 butter noodles we ordered were shockingly mediocre. Drinks were just as overpriced: a soft drink was $5, and my daughter's mocktail ended up costing almost as much as my cocktail. For a bill close to $300, we expected stellar service and exceptional food. Instead, my long-awaited birthday dinner was bland, poorly executed, and frustrating from start to finish. Since this charming location has limited seating, I highly encourage a reservation and keep in mind they do not allow any guests under 12 years old. Since I knew I wanted to have a nice dining experience for my birthday, I booked over a month out and they can accommodate up to a table of 6 if you have a larger party. This evening, we ordered multiple starters and desserts to get a wide array of items to taste the menu which are outlined with pricing below. Starters: Porcini Risotto - $21 Caprese di Campania - $21 Fried Squid - $19 Mains: Caccio E Pepe - $42 Rack of Lamp - $49 Short Rib Pappardelle - $38 Lobster Ravioli - $47 Desserts: Crepe Balan Rouge - $17 Cannolis - $14 When seated, they will bring a tray of bread and will freshly cut basil on top of a plate of olive oil which adds a nice fragrance to the table. This was a great start to allow us to place a round of cocktails in for the table and make our selections. The bread was delicious and loved the fresh basil with it as well. All of the food was absolutely divine, and I tried all of the meatless items. My favorite starter was the Porcini Risotto and is one of the better mushroom risottos I've had in the valley as it is one of my most ordered items if it's available on a menu. Same goes for Caprese, which I thought their Caprese was good but the risotto was the winner for my favorite starter. As for entrees, I ordered the Caccio E Pepe which is prepared table side. This is not just a dish that is entertaining to watch be prepared out of a cheese wheel but absolutely decadent! Fresh cracked pepper, black truffle, delicious cheese, what isn't there to love? This has been a dish I've wanted to try for years, and so grateful to find this location serves. I was really looking forward to reviewing this restaurant as it had been so difficult for us to get in. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. We started with the camarones à la diablo, and prawn cocktail, and the pasta e fagioli soup which were all very good. For dinner we had the branzino, and the lobster pasta. The pasta that came with the Branzino I know it was al dente, but a little too hard. The lobster pasta comes with a tomato sauce, which was more of a garlic butter sauce, there really wasn't much flavor. Now when the waiter came to ask if we wanted dessert, we proceeded to order. We had dinner at Aqua di Mare in Chandler and it was a complete disappointment. We had been looking forward to trying this place for a long time, but it did not live up to the hype at all. The "table-side" cheese wheel pasta was completely misleading. Instead of being properly prepared, the manager brought out fettuccine Alfredo from the back in a saucepan, dumped it into the wheel, and just scraped it around for show. No real preparation, no attention to detail, no flaming cheese wheel or roasted peppercorns--and it tasted like it came straight out of a jar of Ragu. I ordered a dirty martini "extra dirty" and was charged an additional $3 just for that, which felt ridiculous. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The wine glasses were covered in spots and dust, there were flies everywhere around the tables, and no effort was made to manage them. To make matters worse, the drinks were served warm. The restaurant is extremely overpriced for the quality you receive. Our server was new and didn't know anything about the menu. She was chewing gum and honestly looked like she had just gotten out of bed. Everything about the experience was lacking. After waiting so long to try this restaurant, it was a huge letdown. It honestly feels like the positive reviews must be inflated--there's no way this place should have the ratings it does. F minus. Save your money. But the did the unthinkable and after 30 minutes of the people have paid their bill asked them for the table. Most restaurants would not do that but they did. She did our table side dinner and dessert. It is a smaller restaurant so I would recommend reservations or there seemed to always be open seating outside. The owner of the restaurant is so hands on and delightful! He made my husband's lobster dish table side. You can tell he truly cares about the customer and their experience. It was soft and you'll have an individual plate with olive oil and basil, if you'd like. We ordered the Octopus (Primi Piatti/app) and it was so tender with delicious sauce. So good we ordered another one! For pastas, we had the Cacio E Pepe, Lobster Pasta and Acqua Di Mare. They were all delicious, I cannot choose a favorite! The Cacio E Pepe was created in a cheese wheel at your table side. It had rich flavors of the cheese with truffle. I enjoyed the seafood pastas as there was a perfect amount of the seafood. The Lobster Pasta had a better sauce, in my opinion, than the Acqua Di Mare but both still yummy. As for a drink, I had an Elderflower drink since they didn't have Limoncello at the time. It was alright and light which I wanted. To top off the evening, we had complimentary cannolis since we spontaneously came here for my boyfriend's birthday. The cannolis were so good. Checked bucket list! I had been eyeing to dine here for some time now. Got a reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday. Got seated by hostess at the patio outside for dinner! Our server Drew was great and very knowledgeable. We started with some cocktails, grilled octopus and stirred shiitake mushrooms! For our main course, I got the pasta and my husband got the steak. Service started out with wonderful oil with fresh clipped basil for the warm bread. Add a little salt to your oil for some extra flavor. The food was excellent. Each dish we had was cooked perfectly. I had the Short Rib, and the pasta was wonderfully cooked with just the right amount of meat. Our party was very pleased with each dish we had. I did expect better service from a white tablecloth establishment. Oh my god how did I only take one picture here?! Yelp Elite fail. This place is the real deal. The indoor and outdoor ambiance were perfect and romantic and cozy (albeit snug). The wine selection was fantastic. The beef carpaccio was delightful. Truly. I could have eaten just this. As someone who vowed to only eat red meat twice this year...this was a good day to do it. Husband got the short rib pasta (very good) and I got the lobster pasta. My pasta was "meh". I am somewhat a foodie, and I know what lobster is supposed to taste like and it was SO SO SO chewy. The pasta was good and the flavor was good, but I wouldn't order lobster anything here. Maybe the chewy lobster was an anomaly, and I will def go back and try something else because all of the other food was great...but I was a bit disappointed by my meal.
