This is the most mediocre restaurant I have ever been to. Nothing great, but nothing bad. Just plain. Yeah it's a hotel restaurant so we didn't expect much. And that's what we got. The service was good but took a while. The food was extraordinarily average. The ambiance was ... just there as it's in a hotel lobby. Will we go again? Only if we happen to say at this Hilton, which is doubtful. I don't advise against it, but I don't advise making a trip there just to eat -- it's not at all worth it. read more

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences in recent memory. First, the server was kind and attentive. She did her best despite being the hostess, the server and the bartender. There was clearly no manager paying attention. The food was pretty bad. The wings and caprese salad we ordered were mediocre but edible. The medium rare steak came out well done and tough, the side vegetables were bland and cooked to mush. The lump of butter on top of the steak was actually so rancid that it would not melt and looked like plastic. My son's chicken sandwich was so tough he could not eat it. My wife's salmon was overcooked and dry. The drink selections were curiously limited and they were completely out of multiple of their wine selections from their menu. We actually went over to the front desk to see if we could buy a bottle from the sundry shop, but the front desk staff person could not find her manager who had the key. The ambiance was non existent. Just some tables about the edge of the hotel entrance. There was construction going on in the hotel with almost no effort to mask it. Honestly the restaurant should probably have been closed down until they could run it properly. This was such a profoundly disappointing experience that my wife and I spend dinner discussing giving up on our Hilton loyalty commitment. read more

I was part of a group tour, Honor Flights, which i strongly recommend to all Vets from WWII on, at this Hilton Hotel. The breakfast was typical self service buffet with sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, etc . It was nice but nothing out of the ordinary. We did not eat lunch there. Dinner was good hearty food (chicken breast one night & short ribs the next) but no other options. Again, nothing special except for the desserts of cheese cake then cherry pie, both of which get high marks. The first night was table service & the second was buffet. No alcoholic beverages were included. It's not a place to go for exciting eating but as noted, it was a group meeting without meal choices so it is hard to know what a true restaurant meal would be. Looking at the prices, it looks fairly pricey but it is near DC which is notoriously over priced. read more

The menu is not accurate and the wait staff doesn't know the menu or available substitutions. I wanted traditional Maryland seafood so I asked for the crab cake without the 'Romulade'. I guess non-locals can be mesmerized by Romulade and pickled onions, not a simple no-filler crab cake sandwich on a soft bun with lettuce tomato and mayo. Sandwich was supposed to include 'Old Bay' chips. Wait staff said that I also got a 'side', so I asked for a side Caesar. When my sandwich came out, there was no 'chips'. I asked what happened to the chips. They said they no longer have chips and give 'Old Bay' fries. Waiter got fries but they were not Old Bay but salt and pepper. Overall it was ok. If I wasn't landlocked' with no car, I would go to one of the many restaurants a mile away. read more

I ordered the impossible burger with sweet potato fries and it was average .. my family ordered the jerk wings and bang bang shrimp . The jerk wings tasted like perfume in their opinion and was sent back to the kitchen ! The bang bang shrimp was average . Acqua Restaurant is located inside the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport off of West Nursery Road. We ducked in here for a late lunch today after some meetings in the area. Very laid back restaurant and bar - there were about 3 other tables of diners when we arrived - so we got a table and were waited on immediately. Prices on the menu are middle of the road - and most of the stuff is American style and seafood dishes - burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, crabcakes - and more. I ordered the Dockside Burger - medium well, with fries and a glass of water with lemon. The menu describes the burger thusly: "flame-broiled certified angus beef® with avocado, sautéed mushrooms and onions, bacon and cheese on a brioche roll." The beef was excellent, still juicy and flavorful - and the combination of toppings made for a succulent and savory burger. The fries had a light coating of batter and were crisp, hot, and delicious - as all good fries should be! Service was good an attentive, although it did take a bit longer than I would have liked to get my water glass refilled on one occasion. I would definitely come back here again for a meal, or a drink in the evening! read more

Acqua at the Hilton BWI Hotel was a great spot for a business lunch this week.  With a wide variety of Sandwiches, Salads, Sounds, and larger Entree Style dishes, there was really something for everyone. The Chicken Sandwich and Caesar Salad, in particular our orders, were very, very good. Service was on point, extremely friendly, and fairly fast considering a lot of covers in the restaurant. **SEE PICS** I'll admit, Acqua has come a loooooooooooong way since my August 15th *** review! It's still a nice chill spot in a quiet part of the BWI Hotel District. It's a good way to escape the hustle and bustle of airport traffic and 9-to-5 blues. I'm please that the bar menu has been updated and all is well. I highly recommend the Acqua Cheesesteak, Mini Corndogs (order a side of fries and make it a meal) and Toasted Club Sandwich (grilled chicken, turkey are theee best). I was ready to give up hope after finding out that they're no longer listed on OpenTable. I needs my Dining Points, dammit! At any rate, I'm so glad I gave this place another chance -- especially since I'm in walking distance. read more

The food was great. The service was absolutely horrible. They were not busy at all and the bartender had to be pulled away from his phone, tv, etc to even get the most basic of things. Do not recommend and wish I walked to the neighboring hotel to eat. Never even offered another drink when clearly mine was empty. I had breakfast on the early morning of 7/31/19. I'm staying at the Aloft, next door to the Hilton, and I was looking for an AYCE (All You Can Eat) breakfast bar, AND I HIT THE JACKPOT!!! Though desolate, and tucked away from the lobby, around from the closed (during breakfast) bar, I was extremely impressed by the friendliness of the host(s), waitstaff, and the omelette bar cook (Anthony). The food was fresh, the omelette ingredients were perfectly displayed, and everyone greeted me with a genuine smile. The breakfast bar really doesn't look like much, but it's everything I could hope for, and it was perfect for my KETO diet. DID I MENTION THAT ANTHONY MADE ME THE BEST OMELETTE I'VE EVER HAD??? It was amazing. All tables were decked out with nice napkins, fresh cream for your coffee, placemats, stemware, and an exquisite jam tree. Only one small fix I could recommend: plate warmers... the lobby is a very comfortable version of cool, so the cold plates make your hot food, cold. Stopped in for a quick bite after checking in. Ordered the mahi tacos which came topped with slaw and cilantro crema and a side of seasoned red rice. The tacos were good although served on flour tortillas. The fish was not overcooked and had just enough toppings. The rice was better than expected and this is from someone who does not like rice. Ended up at Acqua's bar area after we decided the smell in Ruby Tuesday's was not going to go well with a leisurely happy hour. It's fairly upscale for this area that's filled with chains and dive bars. The Hilton must've had low occupancy on this weekday evening because the bar was filling up slowly but absolutely no one was enjoying dinner. It kinda made me feel bad that such a pretty restaurant was going to waste. Location, location, location is always an important factor, if not THE most, when opening up a nice restie. Anyway, the wine list impressed me so I ordered a glass of my fav vino, Viognier. Half-off appetizers was an awesome deal at Acqua because they had many more options of sophisticated fare than your average bar food. So I went for the beef kebabs, which were $4!!! Well, those $4 kebabs were tasty and presently nicely on a small plate. I was very impressed with how plump and tender they were for, once again, only $4?! My friend had the calamari, which he said was pretty good, and a glass of Merlot. All in all, the experience was pleasant and the crowd seemed older and upscale. All of the waiters and waitresses were friendly, eager to help us choose the right wine and nice looking. Great for business meetings or after work socializing. read more

The dinner menu options are very limited and grossly expensive. Service is friendly and professional. Tonight one draft beer (during happy hour) cost me $12 with a fair tip. I had the crab cake sandwich with a side salad. I thought it was fine for the $21, considering it is at a hotel near the airport with nothing independent near by. Jess was my server and she was very good. Not too full in the dining room but still I felt well taken care of. The crab cake was tasty and the sauce was a nice accompaniment. I think they only want local or employees to eat there. The place was nearly empty but fully staffed. Went across the street to Glory days very friendly staff and very decent meal. Where do I start?! Service was terrible. She was very kind and sweet, but not attentive at all. The rockfish over pasta had no taste and was overcooked. Kendall Jackson that was brought to the table either was old and bitter or not Kendall Jackson. The quesadillas were palatable. Awesome wings - had both the Old Bay and Buffalo. Nice and meaty and well cooked with a crispy skin! My husband enjoyed a bacon BBQ burger (one of several to choose from). Drinks were on point too. Our server, Gabrial was very skillfully managing more than any waiter should have to, so we overlooked the less than expedient service. Overall; good food:drinks! read more

Went here due to the convenience of staying at Hilton. Ordered a steak medium rare. It came out nearly well done and very dry. I asked for a straw for my drink. The server came back about 15 minutes later with no straw. Had to walk to the bar and get it myself. On top of that, I had to kill four gnats flying around my table. I've got a pretty mixed review about this place. We went here for a corporate lunch last week and it proved to be a pretty good environment for it -- it was quiet and spacious at lunchtime, and the music wasn't too loud, so we could talk. The service (once they got going -- we were the first guests there) was quick, and they kept our drinks filled and made sure we had what we needed. The food. There's the rub. Around the group, we had: - Clam Chowder duo. Good - Crab soup. Yawn. - 2 Burgers. These were very good. - 1 Pork sandwich. Boring. - 2 Crab cake sandwiches. Pedestrian, especially for the area. - 1 Seafood Lasagna. Blech. - Seafood lasagna replaced with smoked salmon club. Good. So the highlights were the clam chowder and the burgers. The clam chowder is interestingly presented - it's got both New England and Manhattan style served side-by-side in the same bowl, which looks really cool. And they know how to cook a burger medium rare, and they serve it on tasty ciabatta bread. So I am going with three stars instead of two, because the burgers were good and they were so cool about the icky lasagna. They whipped out the smoked salmon club within minutes of whisking away the unfortunate plate of yuck. The manager even came out and talked to us about it, a nice touch. read more

I've been at the Hilton four nights. I've had plus and minus experiences in the restaurant. Tonight after the conference wrapped, I had the crab cake sandwich. It was pretty good, but I don't know if it is worth $17. For a bar, the items are a little pricey. Dinners are in the $30 range, but this isn't a place for locals. YUM! This was some top-notch hotel food. I was expecting subpar overpriced small plates, but the food was actually delicious. The prices are pretty high, but I felt the food was worth it, plus there's a nice vibe in the restaurant area. I got the crab mac and cheese which was DELICIOUS with a side salad that was robust and very tasty. My sister got the falafel sliders which she said were also quite good. I normally wouldn't eat at hotel restaurants, but I would honestly go out of my way even if I wasn't staying at the Hilton to get that mac and cheese again!! read more

Even the first time I was there, the staff was extremly chatty. And chatting very loud woth each other at the end of the bar. And that's where my table was so I got the update on, how so and so's feet hurt, and other one need her hair done, and somebody's boyfriend was at her. Find somewhere to talk people. Other than that, we checked on in a timely matter... at first but the return check-ins were as timely. Food... they seem to have a pretty good menu. I ordered the Bone-in Pork Chop!!!! - Yummo It was cooked perfectly. I usually dont order pork but it was great. My honey ordered the Steak and fries... it must have been great, he finished every last bit and was very quiet as he completed it. But it also took a very llllllllllllloooooooooooonnnnnnnnggggggg time. The server said because of the thick cut of the pork chop. Prices not bad! My wife had the Mexican salad. The corn was uncooked, so that was odd. They forgot to put the tortilla strips on it as well. Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon after searching for a non-chain, non fast food without success. At first we thought it was not open as there were no customers. This is explained away by Location "at the airport," timing "airport hotel on Sunday" and they do a large breakfast draw. We started with the Maryland Clam Chowder then Fried Green Tomatoes which were yummy. We shared a Stacked Roasted Vegetable Sandwich which was very good. You should definitely consider Acqua an option if you're staying at the Hilton, Aloft or the nearby hotels, but I wouldn't go out of your way to try it. I ate at the bar and the service was great...both of the bartenders were friendly, talkative and handled the obstinate travelers to my right with professionalism and patience. The food, though, wasn't impressive. I had a shoulder steak that was charred on the outside, and lacked seasoning. My Maryland crap soup was fairly plain, and not all that hot. I, like I think most people, likes to be served their soup with steam coming off the top, and this was only lukewarm. In an area famous for seafood, there are so many other, better, and less expensive alternatives I would send you too. On the other hand, it was about 20 degrees outside and I was glad I didn't have to leave the hotel to eat dinner. read more
