    Chicken Parmigiana

Inside is classy, modern, with a low light aesthetic, decently sized bar, and patio that overlooks a artificial lake. Service was pretty good, when I asked for additional bread I got, and there were no additional complications with ordering time or speed. The table shared two salads, and I got a chicken Parmesan, the smaller of the two available portions. The salad that I tried was a Caesar salad, which I thought was good. It's hard to screw up a Caesar salad, and I thought the dressing and Parmesan were both above average in flavor. That's improving the taste of the salad. The chicken Parm does not come with pasta, but the size of the chicken Parm makes up for the lack of side. The quality of the chicken was fantastic, and the quantity was more than sufficient. I thought that the chicken farmer was extremely solid, it's hard to find a good chicken Parm in Indianapolis so this definitely surpassed all of the chicken Parm I've had in Indy. Another important part of the meal is the bread that we had, it felt like it was homemade, and was truly one of the better breads that I've had from a restaurant. Small note, nothing wrong with it, but the Parmesan that they use is probably very authentic, because it is a bit sharper than what I've received at other restaurants. This restaurant has been a staple for my family for the past 1015 years, and it rightfully deserves its recognition based on the quality of the meal I had today

Italian food is one of my favorite. Restaurant did not disappoint just wish it had more variety. Like the music on the background and service was great.

Lovely place! Hidden in Weston, this place is a gem! My date and I dined in for a Sunday evening. We shared a delightful crispy margherita pizza! Fresh and delicious. We each ordered an entree, I had the meatballs with fresh in house made linguini and she the Lobster Ravioli. Easily a 8.8/10 hers and mine. Service was speedy and polite, checked upon often and when needed. We will be visiting more often!

Went for lunch on valentines's day, we sat outside . Nice ambiance . Our server quickly took our drink order and appetizer order . They came out with drinks and bread fairly quickly . They have grated Parmesan , vinegar and oil to dip the bread . Nice touch ! The calamari was fresh and well seasoned but wish it would also come with tartar sauce . I had the lasagna which was ok ... not fresh pasta , they say béchamel but felt more like a ricotta layer and too much sauce for my personal preference. My husband had the squid linguini with lobster and clams , he said it was delicious .

Acquolina hosted a surprise birthday party for my dad this weekend and it was a great event. 55 people comfortably fit on the large patio, seated in groups of 8-10 at large rounds or 6 tops. The tables were nicely set with comfortable chairs, cloth napkins, fresh baked bread and, upon request, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Parmesan to mix for dipping. The meal was served family style by server, table to table, which ran extremely well. They also brought refills for wine and beer too. In the food, the fried calamari and the calamari arrabiata was great, especially with the bread to dip. The stuffed mushrooms was the surprise, being impressively delicious. The sole entree was so good, with a nice crust and light sauce, the eggplant Parmesan was ridiculously cheesy, and the penne alla vodka was so rich and flavorful. The veal had good flavor but I thought it was a little tough and overcooked. That was the inky thing that wasn't a home run. Seevers were friendly and attentive. Happy to answer questions and deftly handle any situation during service. It was a fantastic party thanks to the team here. Thank you!

Upon the advice of a local, but a stranger, I went to Acquolina for lunch. The advice turned out not to be very good. I had their Margarita pizza which was thin crust, crisp with mozzarella cheese and plum tomato. For me, the mozzarella as the only distinctive cheese proved to make it too gooey and bland in flavor. My companion had the Chicken Milanese which was well pounded, thin, nicely breaded and tasty. For being about the only patrons, service was slow and painfully inattentive. However, the place has a good décor and a decent ambiance about it.

The service we received from Roberto, our Host, was spectacular. We selected various items from the menu, ranging from antipasti to start to our main courses. Our host answered all our questions about the dishes very courteously and friendly. Personally, I am a fan of prawns, though I don't order them often because, in some places, what they actually serve are just "fancy" shrimp. At Sardinia Zona Blu, however, Roberto recommended their "Gamberoni alla Griglia"--grilled jumbo prawns with sautéed vegetables. I was very pleased with this choice. Overall, all the dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious. The wine selection is excellent, as are the desserts. In short, we had a fantastic culinary experience. It is the kind of place that leaves you wanting to come back. We will return soon!

I started with the Caprese di Bufala -- a creamy ball of buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes, pesto, and basil, drizzled with EVOO. The cheese was delicious, but I do wish there had been more pesto. It felt like there was more EVOO than pesto. For my main course, I ordered the Saltimbocca Sardo: a 12 oz bone-in pork chop grilled and served in a Vermentino and sage sauce, topped with capocollo and accompanied by mashed potatoes. One note: the menu doesn't mention that the pork chop is bone-in, so that's something to keep in mind. The pork chop was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were fantastic -- silky, smooth, and perfectly made. I had an Italian Pinot Grigio with my appetizer, which was excellent, and a Chianti with dinner. The Chianti was a-OK, although the Pinot Grigio was definitely my favorite of the two. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner. The pork chop, sauce, and mashed potatoes were the standouts for me, and I'd happily come back to try some of the other dishes. I recommend.

It's a smallish restaurant but they also have seating outside. From what I understand they do have an area for private parties. We were seated and given our menus and told about the house specials. I ordered the taglioline cacio e pepe and my husband got the fettuccine meatballs. All the pastas in the restaurant are homemade and the one I ordered was prepared table side in a cheese wheel. I don't even know where to start except to say that this was so delicious and definitely one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. The cheese sauce was so creamy and there was a slight taste of truffle in there. They ask you if you'd like pepper in it so I had them add a little bit to cut out some of the creaminess of the sauce. My husband's fettuccine was equally as delicious and I loved the meatballs and I'm usually not a person who likes restaurant made meatballs because I think mine are the best! For dessert we split a slice of tiramisu and it was very good. Sangria was very good as well. Mimmo, the owner and chef came over to say hello and to make sure we were enjoying our food and service. It was really nice chatting with him and I told him that we are definitely going to be repeat customers! It's not visible from the street so I'd suggest using your GPS there first time you go there unless you're familiar with the area.

We dined here as part of a bachelorette celebration and appreciated that they offer a private dining room for special events--perfect for groups! We started with a classic selection of Italian appetizers: Bruschetta - Lightly toasted bread topped with bright, juicy tomatoes, garlic, and a drizzle of olive oil. It tasted so fresh and vibrant. Love the Italian Meatballs. It was perfect sizing, tender, flavorful in a rich, tomato sauce. Perfectly seasoned and comforting. The Burrata & Prosciutto so worth having! The burrata was creamy, and perfectly balanced by the salty, paper-thin slices of prosciutto. It's like it melted in my mouth. For the main, we ordered two traditional pasta dishes that absolutely delivered: Cacio e Pepe which was served tableside in a parmesan wheel. The bolognese a combination of pomodoro, pork and beef - meaty, and full of flavor with a little hint of sweetness from the tomatoes. It was comforting and so satisfying. I'm not a big tomato girl--usually get heartburn--but everything was so fresh and balanced that I felt great afterward. That says a lot! You know dessert was a must! I tried the tiramisu - Light, creamy, and not overly sweet. A well-balanced classic. Omg the Caramel Cheesecake is a must! Kind of a silky texture from the Carmel but decadent just the same - divine. Our server, Christian, was amazing--attentive, efficient, and incredibly patient with our group. The food came out timely, and everyone at the table left full and happy. Highly recommend visiting this spot.

It was very casual.. all the service staff that we encounter were very friendly and although they were busy, our server was doing his best to check on us and get us what we need. We did not get any appetizers as we saw how big the portions were coming out of the kitchen for the dinners. We ordered the filet mignon and the chicken Parm with penne à la Vaca sauce I will say the steak was outstanding. I listed in my top three filet mignon that I've had. There is nothing I could say bad about it, and I did not expect this quality of steak from an Italian restaurant. The chicken Parm was an nice size portion and had great flavor with the penny à la sauce. The reason I did not give them five stars is because the pasta that came with it was way overcooked and not al dente. It did have a mushy texture. As for the chicken itself, it had great flavor however, the breading on it was kind of doughy like it had sat in the sauce for too long before it was brought to our table. We are definitely gonna return to this location as we really enjoyed ourselves.

When our food finally came, after about an hour, one of our pizzas was mistakenly delivered to another table, touched by that customer, and then brought over to us. That is simply unacceptable. While our server did apologize, the manager's response was disappointing. He acted surprised, saying things like that's weird and let me check, but offered no real apology or accountability. The only thing offered was a free dessert, which honestly, after everything that happened, we didn't want. We were hoping for some sort of meaningful gesture, perhaps a refund or a sincere acknowledgment of how poorly the situation was handled, but that never came. Review of Salumeria 104 - Weston, FL…read more I had high hopes for Salumeria 101, especially on a special occasion like Mother's Day, but the experience ended up being far too inconsistent to recommend. Reservation & Check‑In We arrived at 2:15 PM for a 2:30 PM reservation made earlier that morning at 11:30 AM via OpenTable, which was also confirmed in the app. Despite this, both the receptionist and the manager (short, bald, with a beard) seemed confused and unprepared. The manager struggled to accept that a reservation could exist simply because it wasn't on the hard‑copy printout he had made earlier in the day. It created an awkward and unnecessary delay, and it didn't inspire confidence in how the restaurant manages its bookings and how management values guest experience. Service Service throughout the meal was extremely slow. While it was Mother's Day, the restaurant wasn't at full capacity, and the pace didn't match the level of busyness. It felt more like a coordination issue than a volume issue. Food A true mixed experience--half the dishes were great, half were disappointing. Highlights * Arancini - Crispy, flavorful, and well‑executed. * Calamari & Shrimp - Tender, lightly fried, and delicious. * Cacio e Pepe - Nicely balanced and enjoyable + great table side presentation in a cheese wheel. * Penne à la Vodka - Creamy and well‑prepared. * Tiramisu - Outstanding. Easily the best part of the meal and absolutely worth ordering. Misses * Lasagna - Extremely dry and lacking proper saucing. * Caesar Salad - Also dry and under‑dressed. Both dishes felt neglected and didn't meet even basic expectations for Italian staples. Overall With slow service, reservation confusion, and half the dishes falling short, Salumeria 101 didn't deliver the level of quality you'd expect--especially on a holiday. While some items were genuinely excellent, the inconsistency makes it hard to justify a return visit. Weston has more reliable Italian options--Tarantella's, for example, consistently delivers better food and smoother service. Verdict: Pass.
