Okay this is honestly the best pizza I've had in a while. Get the Detroit pizza with jalapeños and pepperoni. It's amazing. The girls that work here are so sweet and really kind to all the customers. I really appreciate that. I love Acre Pizza. It's a little on the expensive side, but totally worth it, and honestly not nearly as expensive as other businesses in the Barlow. The food itself, is delicious but the service is terrible. Don't think it's worth the frustration of trying to place an order with a giggly teen to try to get a simple order over the phone. Great gluten free pizza...the best.

I have definitely had the pizza here about a dozen times over the past couple of months. First let me say that the ingredients are excellent. And although I am not a fan of gluten-free pizza, my girlfriend eats it and I have had that as well. I don't know why but the person working the counter seems to have an attitude problem or just doesn't really care? Also they screwed it up twice when I said gluten-free and it was not. Again I want to say that the pizza is really high-quality and I say that as a New Yorker, but the service is terrible as so many places in Sebastopol--where you're forced to deal with crappy attitudes of privileged eye-rolling Millennials. They should really hire people that have a better work ethic, and are more competent and efficient. Finally, as much as I tip generously, I don't appreciate a flat screen that already has preset tips for "takeout" pizza from 15% to 30%, for what is terrible service. They told me 20 minutes and I came in exactly 20 minutes and the pizza was cold. All I can say is its high-quality pizza ingredients, but I have nothing good to say about the rest of the operation. Happier with mombos Pizza, at the other end of town. Which is also a more traditional new York style Pizza. read more

I love their pizza but today I ordered one cheese pizza for pickup at 4pm and to pick up at 5:45pm. When I got there the counter person couldn't find my order. I stood there for 15 minutes watching everyone picking up there order. I had showed her my online receipt but she said I don't have your order but it was charged back at 4pm. No one seemed to know what to do. It was a frustrating experience. Couldn't someone just hand me a cheese pizza from their cabinet. Finally, a guy came out and said I'll make it now. Great pizza. Simple toppings, prepared well. Best if eaten there. Can't beat hot out of the oven.

Had the pesto pizza with tomatoes, walnuts & red onions. The flavors were amazing & absolutely loved walnuts as a topping!

This pizza is so good that it's impossible for us to drive through Sebastopol without getting one now!

I tried the farm house pizza. I was worried it might be too soggy with the zucchini but it wasn't. I don't normally order a vegetarian pizza and it was delicious. Lots of flavor and texture. I also had the arugula salad. I didn't like the dressing it was so tart my lips burned. But the pizza was outstanding and I will be back to try more. read more

I downgraded Acre Pizza in Sebastopol because of value. I ordered a Marinara Pizza and added fresh Mozzarella think I may have gotten a half dozen balls. I also ordered a pizza with Sonoma County Meat Co. sausage. Again skimpy amount of sausage. Other than that, pizza was good. read more

Crazy good pizza. The potato pizza is absolutely delicious. This is our family's new favorite pizza spot. We drive over from Petaluma to get it. So easy to order online and swing by and pick up. Plenty of parking and a nice little informal area to sit on a blanket or bench outside. So glad Acre opened this spot in the Barlow. read more

Quick moving line, attentive service, kid friendly and casual, but most of all really good fresh food. Shared the arugula salad that was fresh and reasonably portioned, and two pizzas, the Detroit style in particular was fabulous. Homemade. Fresh ingredients. Served immediately hot out of the oven. Pizza is good. Wait times too long. Friends and family served first. Waited almost 40 minutes for a cheese pizza. Servers didn't apologize for wait times and seemed not to care. Owner was there mingling with friends who were served quickly. read more

Went here for the first time a few days ago. The girl said she would call us when our order was ready. We waited for the pizza outside on the grass but pretty close to the front doors. After about 45 minutes to an hour later we finally went in to ask about our pizza (there were only a few others there). First the girl wasn't sure where my pizza was (they had put it on top of the oven) and she also said she had tried to call my name a few times, though we were sitting close to the door and no one in my party ever heard her. Maybe it was our fault for not going in to check sooner but we were very disappointed. And the pizza had gotten cold and did not taste very good. I will stick to making pizza at home from now on. I even went in earlier to get a glass of water and she didn't mention anything about my pizza being done then. We definitely won't be going back. read more

5 stars to the Detroit cheese pizza. I'm a Michigander and never knew we had a pizza of origin. Growing up, the pizza of choice was double crust, double cheese. Well, this pizza adopts some of this strategy but puts other pizzas to shame. it's a startling small pizza but it has this amazing crust with cheese and tomato sauce on the top. Boy, is that crust good. Way better than the Domino's double crust, double cheese pizzas we consumed at Michigan State. We look forward to having it again and again! read more

Acre pizza is delicious and a great addition to the Barlow. Pizza by the slice is affordable and the salads are delicious. My favorites are the potato & Gruyere slice and the arugula salad. As an added bonus they have soft serve ice cream!! Staff is amazing and super friendly and helpful even when they are super busy. It would be awesome if they offered ranch for the pizza crust. read more

4 stars for pizza and 2 stars for service. Weird counter and flow from the old bakery days, doesn't work any better here. Management needs to have some words about customer service with staff. Too condescending. Don't lecture me on why you don't do so and so. Find a more polite way to say NO. 80+ year old in front of me asking for a slice of gluten free something had to listen to counter person's - "we don't DO gluten by the slice. Just whole pizzas". While this might be true and perhaps valid because they don't want a whole gluten free pizza waiting around for the next gluten free customer....don't talk down to the gentlemen just because he's elderly. He gets it. And if the counter didn't spend so much time "being right", maybe that time could be spent getting orders right. Seemed very disorganized. I get it's only been a few weeks but Acre being Acre should be a little more ready. read more

What can we say about Acre Pizza? A group of us decided to check them out after seeing a review in the PD. First of all The Barlow seems to be back on track after the flooding that had closed many businesses there. Lots of folks walking around visiting all the stores. We arrived at Acre Pizza around 1pm yesterday (Sunday) and the line was out the door. We decided to go through the pain of waiting in line. Lucky for us it was worth the 15 min. wait. For years I have been frustrated over the that you cannot find outstanding NY style pizza in the North Bay. But no more. Acre has hands down the best NY style pizza in the region. You can always measure the quality of a pizza shop by how good the cheese pizza performs. It's the gauge. And Acre nailed it! They have whole pies and slices as well as beer and wine. They have some kind of local soft serve but we didn't want to wait once again in line to order it. But yes, Acre Pizza rules!!! read more
