It is a safe, relaxing, friendly environment geared to help you succeed in living a sober life after detox. I have been living in StepHouse's female sober living home in Costa Mesa for about a month. The house I stay in has a capacity of 6 females. It is very clean and all the girls I live with are friendly and helpful. Living here has provided me with a stable environment where I feel safe and am able to live clean. Because of this program I have a roof over my head, I am happily clean and was even able to start a new job! Highly recommend this recovery program to anyone that is struggling to be and stay clean especially during the hard times of COVID!

From detox to completion of treatment, I received nothing but love, support and respect being as broken as I was. Through their help and programming, I was able to not just rehabilitate my health. They helped to rehabilitate my mind. They were able to do for me in 3 months what I was incapable of doing for myself. Because of Lighthouse, I have my life back. My marriage is back on track, my kids have their father back but most importantly I restored my relationship with God during my stay. I couldn't have done this without their help or support. I was failing on my own. Lighthouse made it so that I was able to focus on healing myself from the inside out. Every person, be they doctors, nurses, staff, aids, food service, cleaning, etc., I came in contact with was courteous and professional. There was one area that was disappointing. The food. Everything tasted as if came packaged. Nothing tasted fresh. After two full days of laying in my bed, I was taken to the physical rehab area, The therapists showed much compassion as they were working with people that had severely compromised health conditions. One of the therapists asked me, "Why are you here?". My condition did not require me being placed in such a high need facility. I arrived on Tuesday afternoon. I checked myself out on Friday afternoon.

It makes me suspicious of something going on that they're hiding. Furthermore they are rude to me no matter how kindly I ask you my friend on the phone, they even hang up on me. I don't drive and transportation to the facility is expensive. But when I do make it over there believe me the director and I will have a talk like no other.
