'An armed minority is harder to oppress'" I dig that a gun shop has this stance as it aligns with my personal views. The sales people are very friendly though a bit solemn sometimes. Once you get them talking they are very open though. They seem to have some nice pieces in stock if you want to buy from them directly but if you need a FFL. This is the place.

Long story. Last year I decided I'd had enough of the factory trigger and the 10-11 lb. pull of my…read moreWinchester model 70, 7mm Rem. mag. I took it to DCF guns in Castle Rock. They charged me $45 to lower the pull. I gladly paid. I didn't shoot it over the winter. I took it out to the range a month ago and the trigger adjustment nuts were loose. The caused the bolt to cycle a cartridge, ejecting the spent round and inserting a new cartridge into the chamber BUT THE TRIGGER WASN'T RESETTING. The trigger was all the way back against the trigger guard. It actually fired from touch the side of the trigger. I purchased a Timney "drop-in" trigger on line but apparently bought the wrong model. I finally started calling local gunsmiths and was quite discouraged...first elk rifle was only 1 week away. I talked to many gunsmiths who weren't very helpful. One said he only worked on ARs. Another told me he was busy with his family. Still another told me he'd call me back with the name of another gunsmith who he recommended only to call me back. I talked with Rod @ Rocky Mountain Gunsmith and was pleasantly surprised. He was polite and told me he was busy but you could tell he was glad to accept the work. He got me the correct trigger overnight shipped and installed getting my gun back to me the day before I left for the mountains. We dry fired it a few times and it is wonderful - and safe. I'll stop in at the range tomorrow on my way up to the mountains. I'm very thankful for Rod's willingness to help me out on short notice, for his reasonable labor rates, and for his thankful attitude for my business. Highly recommended!

This place has a huge turnover rate and constantly with people that aren't knowledgeable on what they are selling. Stood around for 20 minutes to end up being called a kid from a worker.
