I scheduled a service for today at 11:00. I arrived a few minutes early and the car was taken back for the service very quickly. I waited in the customer lounge area and it was quiet, clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable for an oil change on a Mercedes. Made an appointment last week to drop my car off this morning for an oil change since I work in the area. Got the car done before my lunch break like I requested which is awesome. Full Synthetic oil change was super affordable. Texted me the full inspection sheet and didnt try to shove unnecessary items at me since there's nothing but an air filter to replace. EDIT #2 Connor has always been my go-to,to fix all my cars foreign or domestic. He's always beating the dealerships with factory parts, professional mechanics and a quick turnaround. I had a catalitic converter needed to be changed on a 02 Highlander. He got it done in less than 24 hours and probably six to seven hundred dollars cheaper. than the dealership...I am serious as a heart attack I'm old and I've been through so many other mechanics & dealerships you cannot go wrong and Connor. One year later March 10th 2022 This is a tale of how I screwed up and chose convenience over a professional. I have a 97 F250 just purchase from orig owner. I wanted to get a safety inspection and repair what ever found. Instead of driving into Mesa to Acuna Automotive I went the lazy route and found a closer shop to do basic maintenance. After spending 2k on 2 diff. shops that created my new CEL and then used aftermarket parts to "fix it" which they didn't...I finally came to realize that IF I went to Acuna Automotive, Connor and his crew would have fixed it right and a professional inspection WITH pictures would have been done. I was referred to Conor and Acuña by my former mechanic when he retired and I could not be happier. I work in transportation and have replaced two engines, two transmissions, a head gasket and a few other smaller jobs with them over the past 4-5 years on various cars. My name is Frank I live in Valencia, California and I was traveling to Mesa, Arizona to my vacation home on the weekend of 7-9-16. I was cruising at 75 mph in my Lexus IS 350 then all of sudden my car stalled and the engine shut-down, I drifted into the right shoulder of Interstate 10 Highway into the emergency lane and I was between Tonopah and Sun City around 7:00pm. I tried to restart the car and it sputtered/hesitated to start yet I had battery power, but the fuel injectors weren't functioning properly. I tried to restart the car and no luck I was stranded in the desert in 108 degree weather. I called AAA at 7:30pm and the tow arrived at 8:30pm for a tow of nearly 88 miles to my home in Mesa. Sunday 7-10-16 I got another AAA Tow to Lexus Superstition Springs Dealership and left the car in the Service Department. Monday 7-11-16 I contacted the Lexus Service Advisor to diagnose my car problem and 4 hours later (11:00am) I was told that the fuel pump in the gas tank had failed possibly to due overheating. The cost for the fuel pump repair was over $1K including the diagnostic time to trouble shoot the fuel system problem. I had a mild heart attack and I informed the Lexus Service Advisor that I was from out-of-town that I needed some flexibility to pay for this extremely expensive repair. I got no sympathy from Lexus Superstition Springs, so I said that I need to evaluate some other options. I hung up with Lexus immediately went on-line and found Acuna Automotive with "5 Star Ratings" contacted the repair shop and talked with Connor Acuna the "Shop Owner". I explained the situation to Connor who was polite and understood my situation. Also he assured me that the repair could be completed the next business day at "HALF THE COST". My car had cooled off, so I drove from Lexus to Acuna Automotive and picked up my car next morning on Tuesday 7-12-16. I paid my bill and gave a strong handshake to Connor for all of his assistance and professionalism. The same morning I went for a short road-trip to Globe, Arizona to test the drive performance of my IS 350 and she performed better than before with smooth road handling and responsive acceleration. I gave various status reports to Connor of my driving experience including during my trip home on 7-14-16. I apologize for the lengthy review, but I want to express my deep appreciation for Connor Acuna's "Customer Focused" responsiveness to my car repair emergency and he delivered a great "Customer Experience" that I will not forget.
