The food was very tasty and the portions were big. The owner is very kind and friendly and creates such a nice, welcoming atmosphere. We were even treated to a delicious soup before our meal arrived, which was a lovely surprise. Highly recommend this place!

I picked up a carryout Adam's platter for $20.99 and paid $23.88 all-in. Overall, I say about 4.5 stars for the quality and value but I knocked it back a star (so 3.5 stars rounded to 4) because they charged an unannounced and unadvertised 4% credit card fee which I didn't register until I looked at the receipt later. I don't like surprises like that out of principle and being a senior Asian guy, I carry cash anyway which I could have used. Rant over, I thought the food quality and portions were quite good. The platter even included a lamb chop, again unadvertised but a pleasant surprise adder to the kefta and chicken shawarma protein items. I don't know if a lamb chop is normally included, but I'm guessing probably not as it's not advertised and it's a premium item. The salad, hummus, and pita bread were good quality also. Like an ice cream shop, customers come and go in waves to this hidden and small strip mall location. I had a little wait (about 15 minutes) at 7:30pm as a couple was ahead of me and the lone attendant took care of a carryout order also. Overall, thumbs up, but do put a sign up about your convenience fee.

Maybe the freshest falafel I've ever eaten. They make them fresh to order, so crispy on the outside and packed with moist flavor inside.

Since it's been three years since my first visit to Adam's Kabab, I thought I would update my first review to basically say the food here is as good as ever. Owner Jamal sure knows how to cook fresh felafel, among other things. His chicken shawarma is easily the best in the area. He always makes the falafel fresh. It's crispy to the bite and extremely flavorful and moist inside. Also love the stuffed grape leaves. You get a mountain of great food with every dinner. Mmm, so good.

Adams Kabob in Glenview is a nice little place for some Mediterranean food. It wasn't busy when I went in on a Sunday afternoon. I took a few minutes to look over the menu and then decided on the Adam Kabob platter that comes with a little bit of everything and the Jerusalem fries. I enjoyed how the food is cooked to order so I didn't mind the little bit of wait to get piping hot food. The Jerusalem fries were interesting, I wish it came with more feta cheese because that was my favorite part about it. The fries itself did not stand out to me all that much. I wasn't sure what I was expecting. The Adams Kabob combo comes with rice, hummus, salad, falafel, pita, chicken schwarma, beef. It is a nice little around the menu eats. I enjoyed the portion size I had enough leftover for another meal. I enjoyed how everything was seasoned and cooked. The sauces that were provided on the side added a nice touch to the meal too. Plenty of people call and order ahead and came and picked up. Now I know.

This is a nice no frills kinda joint, the interior is small, just a few tables. No drink machine, only bottled and can options. You buss yourself but the gentleman did bring the food to the table, so there is some service. That all said, the food was very good. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich which comes wrapped in a large pita with potatoes inside as well. Excellent flavors but I did get some gristle which was the only low point. The falafel was very tasty and not oily at all. The dipping sauces were good, I found the white sauce a bit watery but enjoyed the spicy sauce and the chunkier yogurt sauce. The Jerusalem potatoes were excellent. I like the way they cut them and the extra seasoning is a nice touch. The crispy ones were the best, but not all of them were perfect. The feta that came with the fries was good quality as well. I'd definitely come back and try some other stuff.

Wonderful Mediterranean fast casual restaurant with super fresh food! Absolutely huge steak kabob served with rice, nicely dressed salad and hummus. Made fresh while we waited. Chicken shawarma was also super tasty and served with all of the same accompaniments. Portions easily feed two. They also gave us complementary lentil soup that was very tasty. Everything was gluten free as well. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I tried Adams Kabob the other night. We found the chicken very, very tasty and juicy and the same with the chicken schwarma! And a plus..... the pita bread was very fresh and soft. We always compare our meals to Pita Inn (we love Pita Inn) and this restaurant was just as good if not better (and closer)! Everything was delicious and the owner Jamal was delightful to talk to. This was such an amazing place. It's not fancy looking, but it's very clean and comfortable. The Adams plater was culinary excellence!! I was taken back by how delicious the food was, we also enjoyed humus, falafel and lentil soup all were better then any I've had in a very long. The owner was very attentive and great personality. Had an amazing experience here! They followed all the covid guidelines and I felt super safe going here. The food was AMAZING!!!!! Like seriously amazing. There was so much food it's going to last like 3 meals... per person! We ordered 5 meals. Since we had a larger order the owner threw in extra falafel and free soda. I love everything about this place except they don't make their own pita bread and they microwave the pita bread. This alone makes me choose Pita Inn first which is a shame because everything else at Adams is far superior. read more

I've driven past Adam's Kabob many, many times and tonight finally stopped in. I am beyond happy we did. My husband & I both ordered chicken shawarma. The owner had just finished a fresh batch of falafel which he graciously shared with us. Both were outstanding! The quality of the chicken was excellent and the falafel was crispy on the outside and moist inside. The service was great - will definitely be a regular! The best around, period. I've been a loyal customer since my first visit months ago. No other chicken shawarma comes close. The garlic mayo is epic and a perfect compliment. The hummus is amazingly creamy and flavorful. The falafel are so legit. My Israeli friend confirmed they were some of the best he had ever had. On keto? No problem. He will swap the rice and pita for bonus salad and other stuff, no charge. Every time I go, the food is so fresh. The other day I ordered 30 falafel for an event. They were ready in 10 minutes. He was so generous with the sauces as well. Everyone loved them. This guy beats pita inn by a mile. Stop by and support a small family business. Get some take away on your way home. Inside is super casual, more like simple cafeteria seating, ok for a quick lunch but not a sit down dinner. You get what you pay for. This is a great deal on great food without the fluff. Went there for lunch with few people. Food was good but table was so dirty, my hands kept getting stuck to it. The utensils were small, I am surprised my fork did not break. My advice don't try to cut corners to save 50c when you have good food. By doing that you are making whole experience disappointing. read more

This place has ruined all other kabob places for me. I ordered Adam's Platter to get a sample of everything. The Shawerma and Falafel were flavorful and cooked to perfection -- hands down the best I've ever had. I didn't even know Falafel could taste like that. I thought the chicken tender had good flavor, but was a little dry because it was flattened. However, the owner said he was planning to change the tender to a kabob and let us sample it. Now this, was an explosion of amazingness in my mouth -- so juicy! I hope he implements the change soon. The Kefta was good, but probably my last choice for an individual Entree. Finally, I don't know what's in that garlic sauce, but I want it on everything! Get it on the side and your taste buds will thank me. read more

Fairly new kabob spot. Its in small strip mall with a Bank of America. The sign outside is a little small, you will almost miss it, ps its next to the dominoes. Came in and was not sure what to get. Saw the "Adams platter" pretty much a combo plate so I got that. Bill came out to $16.50 omg, there was enough food for 2, but the price is still pretty steep. Comparing to other spots Combo plates (pre-tax) Wild Pita is $9.75,Pita Inn $9.99, Siunik $11.25, Rayan $11.95, its hard to justify where they came up with that price? Maybe they're taking advantage of that Glenview real estate. But hows the food? I must say the food was pretty good. The meat was tender, pita fluffy, rice cooked well. The salad and falafel were tasty as well. As good as it was, there was nothing about it that made it any better then its competitors to make it worth dropping the extra cash. I suggest cutting the portion size and price. Till then I'm sticking to my fav Pita Inn. read more

I heard a lot of great things about the chicken shawarma which is halal at Adam's Kabob and it did not disappoint at all. I liked it better than Pita inn's chicken shawarma. They put potatoes with the shawarma which I could live without but overall the chicken was seasoned very well. I will definitely come back and try more menu items!!! read more

The Falafel is excellent and the best I have ever had. Hummus is also very good with a hint of lemon that was different. I was disappointed in the chicken shawarma bowl special for lunch. The chicken was lacking seasoning and was poor quality with a lot of gristle. I would return for their Falafel. Owner is very pleasant. read more

Came here for lunch after trying falafel that the owner gave me (for free!). Best falafel I've tasted. I ordered the Gourmet Falafel sandwich, which my friend and I both found to be absolutely delicious. We were also treated to complimentary hummus (amazing) and very hospitable service. The place was very clean and our orders were filled promptly. Great dining addition to the neighborhood! read more

Despite spending $46 and ordering extra sides of rice to round out our dinner, the portions have become noticeably smaller over time. In the attached photo taken today the rice with the chicken strips is much smaller even though I personally asked for them to add more rice explaining that everyone at home fights for it. A large bag of rice at Costco is less than $20, how hard is it to add extra rice? We ordered lamb shank and the chicken strips but sadly I am very disappointed because it showing that they do not care

The eggplant is light and the sauce that is drenched on top is perfect to balance the fried crispy exterior. Next I ordered Samsa, Plov, and lamb kurdock. My husband ordered the beef rib and mash potatoes. Not the most Kyrgyz but he did try everything and loved it all! If you want a taste of central Asian cuisine please come to Jibek Jolu! Crispy eggplant- another recommended app which was delicious and sweet Lamb kurdock- I didn't love this dish it was kind of dry and lacking in flavor but huge with lots of potatoes and veggies Combo skewers- so much meat that was all very tender and flavorful, though it came on one thin soggy tortilla. It would have been nice to have more tortillas on the side to make a wrap. I also tried the chicken tabaka, and this was delicious with a curry flavor. Overall, most dishes were so delicious, but it was a bit of a learning curve on how to order and what to expect.

We were promptly seated at a 4-top table (2 × 2-top) against the right wall, with some other 2-tops on both sides. Like many reviewers had mentioned, the venue was beautiful, modern and chic. There were 7 tables occupied, including us. The music that they had was not too loud, just that customers' conversations were amplified by the box shape open dining area. If we focused enough, we could hear every conversation if we wanted to. This was obvious when a table of about 6 women got seated at a table near the front door, some of them laughed and talked very loudly. My husband and I just found it funny and didn't let that bother us. However, when the restaurant is filled on busier days, it might be a different story. Our server, Patrick, was very nice and attentive. Since they did not list drinks on their menu except those with alcohol, I asked him about non-alcoholic drinks. After a brief "discussion", he asked me to leave it to him to make me a drink with mango. He came up with a beautiful drink that was good and refreshing, with some mango flavor. It was Virgin Paloma on our receipt for $8, which was reasonable. He was very polite and checked in on us several times at appropriate times during our dinner. The pace of the dinner was good, we spent a total of an hour and 15 minutes in the restaurant. Patrick might be the only waiter serving all the tables that evening, though. I also ordered Grilled Octopus ($22) which was very good, tender and flavorful, but was a little too salty to my taste. The small pita bread wedges were warm and fluffy with some crispy edges, the beet hummus was creamy, and everything was delicious and tasted fresh. I generously shared 2 little bites of octopus with my husband and I finished the entire plate, it was so good! My husband really liked his Spiked White Fish ($29) and I shared a bite of that too. He also had a House Salad for $6, that was a very good value. He enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc Crossing ($12) too. We also shared an order of Crème Brulee ($8), that was creamy and cooked perfectly. We ordered a takeout order of Rigatoni with Sausage ($23), that was a good portion, and was still delicious and al dente the next day after being microwaved. I am so happy that we found Social Inn - a hidden gem in Plaza del Prado, it's not far from home, with comfortable and beautiful ambiance, excellent service (from Patrick), an attractive menu with enticing food (fresh ingredients and appealing plating), and reasonable prices, we will definitely be back!

I heard some buzz about this place, and found these reviews online. I immediately when to pickup food for my family and a guest (6). We made the mistake of ordering an entre for each person, which made the bill $60+. The mistake was we didn't realize how much food we would get! My fridge is still full a day later. The chicken shawarma was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The hummos was out of this world -- fresh, smooth, and flavorful. The falafel were made on the spot. I have frequented Pita Inn and Wild Pita. This food out ranked these venues. I definitely will eat there again.
