    After Hike Modelos

We were so excited to find this hidden gem by accident when looking for parking. Vibrate and charming cafe up in the mountains. With a number of tables. Small menu. They do serve cold beers. Staff were great. Friendly and attentive. I truly enjoyed the view of the donkeys. It was nice hearing about them especially Willow. We ordered the breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint. I loved how crispy the bacon and potatoes were. The egg was fluffy. Well seasoned. You even get sausage which was delicious. We gave this burrito a 10/10. Highly recommend. We look forward to our next visit and trying their steak sandwich.

The new owners are awesome and they have free live music every Friday night in the Summer. Great breakfast burritos!

Whether stopping in to purchase your park pass or coming to hang with friends. Adams' Pack Station is a great place to stop for eats/drinks before or after your hike. There is such a family feel with all the welcome vibes around. Everyone greets you with a smile. A bonus that they have good food and beer. Their breakfast panini was delish. Flavorful and cheesy over fluffy eggs and breakfast meats. Yum! We had a fun breakfast with friends after a hike to the falls. *they now have the capability to accept tap as payment. was also told they will soon have a full coffee bar to offer those "fancy coffees" haha. looking forward to that before a brisk morning hike.

The turkey wrap was so good, they also have muffins, beer, coffee, hot tea, sodas, water and chips. The service was wonderful the lady was very helpful and sweet all the time. She even recommended us other trails to explore and told us to go visit the donkeys. The ambiance is adorable with mountains view. Just be ready for the bees lol. The place looks so rustic with lights .. Has a parking outside. After a good hike you can eat there and also buy hiking adventures day pass or yearly. Recommended it

This place is the perfect getaway cove in the mountains. Went on a whim and it was whimsical. Had delicious burgers and will be back for the hikes! And burgers again. Staff is so friendly and you just can't beat the ambiance. Cutest donkeys ever.

Stopped here mid-ride to refuel with some refreshments. I wasn't hungry enough for food, but those burgers smelled amazing! It's a great little spot to relax after a climb and take in the mountain views. Super friendly staff and perfect for cyclists looking for a scenic pit stop. Whether you're grabbing a quick drink or a full meal, it's worth stopping by.

Just reopened after four years, food on the weekends, cold beer all the time! We had some tasty tacos from local popup, and washed them down with cold beers and sodas. The stables have donkeys, and the hosts will let you visit them when possible. Super friendly hosts, stop in before and after your hike! Some of the best hiking this close to LA.

Great place to relax after a hike they have a variety of beer and refreshments as well as treats and food. So happy they finally reopened.

After a rugged 8 mile hike, an ice cold beer sure hit the spot! The virus has trimmed back food services, but it was nice to sit down and enjoy a friendly cold one.

Blown away by the new ownership! I have been hiking Chantry Flats regularly for more than 5 years and absolutely LOVE the Sturtevant Falls hike (see photos). Adams' Pack Station has always stood out as a convenient place to grab a bite to eat, enjoy a cold drink after hiking, or find last minute parking on the weekends. However, the new owner has taken the customer service to new levels. I was greeted warmly upon arrival, offered information about the many hikes in the area, got a great cup of coffee for only $2, and even got my Camelback filled with cold clean water since the Forest Service fountain was out of order. So happy I stopped here and can't wait to return this summer for concerts and beer in the mountains.

Haulin' Ass Since 1936! This pack station is the last of its kind in southern California. Since 1936, they have faithfully delivered goods to cabins via donkeys and served the hikers and campers of Chantry Flats. They provide gear, food, and other general store stuff. But more than that, the friendly folks at the station can provide valuable advice on trails and terrain conditions. Tips: Don't have a parking permit aka "Adventure Pass?" Pick one up at the store. Check their website for events.

Free parking. Breakfast included. All day coffee. Across the street is a huge mall with unlimited dining choices and a Whole Foods. Sounds good, right? And it is... Except for noise insulation. Of which there is none. I could hear people talking and walking and watching tv around and above our room. And every time a toilet in at least one room near us flushed, it sounded like Niagara Falls. I did not get much sleep, and that's kind of the point of a hotel.

The Hilton app is actually very good -- it's clean, fast, and easy to book reservations. That part works well. Where things fall apart is when your plans change. I recently needed to make a simple change to a reservation. I tried chat first -- no help. Then I called the Hilton 1-800 number and spent 17 minutes on the phone only to be told there was nothing they could do. I also called the hotel twice early in the morning with no answer. At this point, I'll likely have to track down the hotel manager myself to resolve it. By the time this is done, I'll have spent close to an hour just trying to make a basic change -- and there's still no guarantee it will be waived. Meanwhile, my business plans shifted and I've already booked another Hilton stay at a different location. That's the frustrating part -- I'm staying loyal to the brand, but the system doesn't support flexibility. Airlines have figured this out. Hilton hasn't. As a Diamond member, I expect better. Instead, I feel like I'm working against the system rather than being supported by it. If Hilton can fix the change/cancellation experience, they'd be best-in-class. Until then, business travelers should be aware -- booking is easy, but changes can cost you time and money.

Truly a home away from home experience!!!…read more I needed to get away from LA for a few days to clear my head, and Mt. High Beds provided the perfect place for me to unwind. I was amazed by how beautiful and tranquil Wrightwood is, and by how much this house felt like "home" while I was there. The owners know the area really well, and are a wealth of information. They are also very interesting and fun to hang out with, especially if you're going up there by yourself, like I did. All in all, my stay at Mt. High was a wonderful experience and I will certainly be back! Oh, I should also mention that my bed was VERY comfortable, the house feels warm and cozy like a cabin in the woods should, and it is very quiet up there. Also, there is a deck with a bench swing where I could sit, have tea, and meditate. Honestly, I don't know what more anyone can ask for.

I njoy my snow-board and not in the mood to drive up to Big Bear (and spend twice the money on gas, food etc) - so Wrightwood is my all time fav spot when it snows. Oh I also figured out over the years that when it rains in LA it snows in Wrightwood. It's not "scientifically accurate" but that's just what I noticed. Anyways, I just got myself a cool fast two seater so now I have an excuse to get out of LA traffic any chance I get... so I ended up in Wrightwood since Hwy 2 is right there (awesome drive, curves etc). So I decided to spend the night and drive some more the next day... well, since I stayed here before in the winter, and had a great experience, I figured I'll give them a shot and see if they accept guests in the summer time... well, i was welcomes (once again) in open arms with a friendly smile. Same warm home even without the snow outside - KOOL. I had a great local pizza for dinner and a great night of sleep, allowing me to hit the road in the AM and cruise. Now that I have the roadster for summer time, I know I'll be back for more visits both summer and winter. I also know where I can stay all year long! Very clean, organized and friendly home. Great value - can't beat that (not even close). Oh, on a side note, I arrived to Wrightwood on Friday PM (after work) and found that there is a really cool Farmers Market in town. Worth checking out as well. Oh, another side note, I noticed Highway Patrol hiding on Hwy 2 in the section between the 138 and Wrightwood, so keep it slow in that section ;-)

That is the only good thing about this place. Besides the beds being lumpy and the pool cutting our children's feet, our children were made to feel like delinquents their entire stay, they were even afraid to go downstairs to eat breakfast. Front desk agent, Conner, was a nightmare. He consistently made up lies about children disrupting other guests with no evidence to back it up, he could not pin point which children (if any) were the ones being disruptive. Each child on our team was in bed by 10pm each night, which happens to be when the hotels "quiet hours" go into place. The hotel has foosball tables, games and connect four in the lobby so children can play, he took the ball for the foosball table so the children couldn't even use them. Worst of all, he then blanket charged everyone in the hotel for the children being noisy during regular business hours! A nice woman, Meleny, at the front desk agreed these should be removed when we were checking out, but as soon as Conner got back into work the charges reappeared on our credit cards. Some families getting charged up to 650 dollars for using the pool and their kids being noisy when they weren't even at the hotel during these noise complaints, they were at a baseball game!
