    Breakfast burrito 6/10
    Nicole P.

You can stop here to purchase your adventure parking pass and/or grab a bite to eat! We found Adam's Pack Station after we finished our hike. The breakfast burrito was okay, but their burger was veryyyy good. As we sat and ate, the front started to pile up with cars parking as people were arriving to pick up the adventure pass or begin their hike for the morning, so I'd say we came at a good time. The pack station is a little cafe with plenty of seating, and donkeys right beside you so you can say hello (and definitely smell them lol).

We were so excited to find this hidden gem by accident when looking for parking. Vibrate and charming cafe up in the mountains. With a number of tables. Small menu. They do serve cold beers. Staff were great. Friendly and attentive. I truly enjoyed the view of the donkeys. It was nice hearing about them especially Willow. We ordered the breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint. I loved how crispy the bacon and potatoes were. The egg was fluffy. Well seasoned. You even get sausage which was delicious. We gave this burrito a 10/10. Highly recommend. We look forward to our next visit and trying their steak sandwich.

The new owners are awesome and they have free live music every Friday night in the Summer. Great breakfast burritos!

Whether stopping in to purchase your park pass or coming to hang with friends. Adams' Pack Station is a great place to stop for eats/drinks before or after your hike. There is such a family feel with all the welcome vibes around. Everyone greets you with a smile. A bonus that they have good food and beer. Their breakfast panini was delish. Flavorful and cheesy over fluffy eggs and breakfast meats. Yum! We had a fun breakfast with friends after a hike to the falls. *they now have the capability to accept tap as payment. was also told they will soon have a full coffee bar to offer those "fancy coffees" haha. looking forward to that before a brisk morning hike.

The turkey wrap was so good, they also have muffins, beer, coffee, hot tea, sodas, water and chips. The service was wonderful the lady was very helpful and sweet all the time. She even recommended us other trails to explore and told us to go visit the donkeys. The ambiance is adorable with mountains view. Just be ready for the bees lol. The place looks so rustic with lights .. Has a parking outside. After a good hike you can eat there and also buy hiking adventures day pass or yearly. Recommended it

This place is the perfect getaway cove in the mountains. Went on a whim and it was whimsical. Had delicious burgers and will be back for the hikes! And burgers again. Staff is so friendly and you just can't beat the ambiance. Cutest donkeys ever.

Stopped here mid-ride to refuel with some refreshments. I wasn't hungry enough for food, but those burgers smelled amazing! It's a great little spot to relax after a climb and take in the mountain views. Super friendly staff and perfect for cyclists looking for a scenic pit stop. Whether you're grabbing a quick drink or a full meal, it's worth stopping by.

Just reopened after four years, food on the weekends, cold beer all the time! We had some tasty tacos from local popup, and washed them down with cold beers and sodas. The stables have donkeys, and the hosts will let you visit them when possible. Super friendly hosts, stop in before and after your hike! Some of the best hiking this close to LA.

Great place to relax after a hike they have a variety of beer and refreshments as well as treats and food. So happy they finally reopened.

After a rugged 8 mile hike, an ice cold beer sure hit the spot! The virus has trimmed back food services, but it was nice to sit down and enjoy a friendly cold one.

Blown away by the new ownership! I have been hiking Chantry Flats regularly for more than 5 years and absolutely LOVE the Sturtevant Falls hike (see photos). Adams' Pack Station has always stood out as a convenient place to grab a bite to eat, enjoy a cold drink after hiking, or find last minute parking on the weekends. However, the new owner has taken the customer service to new levels. I was greeted warmly upon arrival, offered information about the many hikes in the area, got a great cup of coffee for only $2, and even got my Camelback filled with cold clean water since the Forest Service fountain was out of order. So happy I stopped here and can't wait to return this summer for concerts and beer in the mountains.

Haulin' Ass Since 1936! This pack station is the last of its kind in southern California. Since 1936, they have faithfully delivered goods to cabins via donkeys and served the hikers and campers of Chantry Flats. They provide gear, food, and other general store stuff. But more than that, the friendly folks at the station can provide valuable advice on trails and terrain conditions. Tips: Don't have a parking permit aka "Adventure Pass?" Pick one up at the store. Check their website for events.

Brioche bun was perfectly crisped, patty was thick and full of flavor. Loved the garlic cheese spread. Just brought it to another level. Well-balanced and not too garlicky. Just delicious. I kinda had low expectations because I've always assumed smash burgers were going to be a thin burger that would not fill you up.... Boy was I wrong. I went in 30 mins before closing on Saturday and there weren't that many people so I kinda was nervous. The young Asian girl at the front was very kind and was answering all the questions I had and what kind of combinations were possible. I ended up getting a double smash burger (added some grilled onions) with bacon and jalapeños w/ crunch fries and a butterfinger milkshake (I got a big appetite lol) . The for the crunch fries you're required to pick two different dipping sauces and my gosh there were so many different options that sounded so appetizing that I didn't know which ones to pick, I ended up just getting the classic Krunch Islands (thousand islands sauce) and the garlic aioli. Picking up the burger I knew this wasn't no regular skinny patty smash burger..... this bad boy had some weight to it and it sure wasn't the toppings. The burger was immaculate, filling and overall worth the price. The only downside was the cheese not really a fan of processed cheese but that's just my opinion.... And I still ended up loving it. The Krunch fries were spot on exactly what I was thinking it would be. The butterfinger milkshake immaculate as well. Words can't describe it And the thing that I pointed out from the burger was the pickles. Those pickles are not joke they really go beyond with there house based pickles. Will definitely be coming back to this spot.

The perfect texture and crunch, hot out of the fryer and well seasoned. From all the pictures of the krunch burger I was a little skeptical thinking how greasy and oily it must be. But I was so surprised that it wasn't! Despite the smashed grilled cheese skirt it didn't otherwise feel like biting into a layer of grease. Had it with jalapeños which are a must! Its a fairly heavy meal so I wouldn't say eat this daily but for a treat-yo-self kind of burger experience this spot is it!!

It's clean and helmed by a small but very friendly staff of people eager to please. The painted brick walls and wood tables & chairs say it wants to be something more and better than a "fast food spot," but its menu is too small to fall into the Mendocino Farms category of "fast casual," so let's just coin a new phrase: First Rate Fast! There are really only 2 things on the menu: a burger (prepared 4 ways) and Pastrami (prepared 3 ways), plus fries and drinks. On this first visit I opted for the "Strong," which their version of a Pastrami Reuben. It's an impressive sandwich, built with very high-quality components. The pastrami is long brined and long smoked and cut thick. It's well-marbled and very rich, with an intense flavor of both the brine and the smoke. It's most easily described as Aaron Franklin's best Texas brisket being sent for a Bar Mitzvah. It's very, very good. The rest of the sandwich holds its own, too. The rye bread is top flight and very flavorful, grilled perfectly to have that buttery crunch without being too greasy. Melted Swiss adds even more richness, while spicy mustard and slightly bitter sauerkraut bite back against the fat. The addition of a fairly mayo-forward Russian Dressing was a bit too much for me. Yes, it's the traditional Reuben condiment, but here the pastrami is so rich that the dressing (to me) gilds the lily, and a second layer of mustard (to me) would help to balance the sandwich a bit more. I ordered the combo, which means fries and a drink. The fries are pretty basic, but are very properly cooked to a nice crispness and carry the right dusting of salt. Sodas are canned, but they do have glasses and ice, so no harm there. Probably the funniest thing: each table has a light as you might have in a fine dining establishment. They're not necessary because this is a very bright restaurant -- but they are ring lights, and they help ensure that every social media photo has just the right glow. That's kind of genius. This is good food, and I will surely try a burger next time. But don't wait for my next review, head out soon and give them a try.

According to their website, they also make appearances at Breweries and Food events, so you may see them out and about. It popped up on my radar through yelp and I wanted to check it out as a local. I had their "black market burger", which was a double smash burger on a grill top with grilled onions and on a potato bun. They mentioned that their fries are cooked in duck fat, which typically gives a savory flavor to fries that you don't get in seed oils. They also mentioned their "new school american cheese" is new school because it's real cheese, but it tastes and melts like the American cheese. They were friendly and they brought it to my car as soon as my order was ready. I think that this burger would be nice with a beer at a brewery and, if you check out their website, then you could see when/where that happens. As it stands, I enjoyed their namesake burger and fries; however, I'd probably want to go with one of their more dressed up burgers or chili fries and I'd BYOB if I were to come back to see them at LB Towne Center, which has no less than a half dozen options for burgers. I definitely respect the grind. If you do come to check it out, check their hours before you head over to the gas station or check their website to go to their appearances at local breweries (which is probably how I'd rather have it). I hope they consider going to busier food events where their offerings can be paired with other food experiences. Soft drink options would also be nice. They were at Long Beach FC's game at Cabrillo Jaguars Stadium & were so thoughtful to have planned to stay open well after the game ended so that the players & staff would be able to enjoy a burger too. The owner was likable and very patient. He reassured me that I wasn't in a rush to order. (My boyfriend is one of the founders of the team so when I sent him a photo of the menu, I realized he won't reply til he has time & the game had just ended and he has to help take down everything.) We ordered the black market burger, the shady Swiss, and the bootlegger fries. Everything was phenomenal! I actually ordered my Swiss burger mainly for my boyfriend to try, because he likes mushrooms and I do not, but to my surprise I scarfed down the burger within minutes! That potato bun, the garlic aioli, the patty itself-oh my goodness-heaven. The burger was packed plenty with mushrooms & I enjoyed it all. I ordered the fries because I saw that they were thick cut and after hearing they were cooked in duck fat made me intrigued to see what the difference in taste would be & I was beyond impressed. They were just cooked to perfection with the perfect ratio from crispy crunchy goodness to the soft potato filling. My initial plan on the fries was to share half with my boyfriend (he only ordered the burger anyway), but my lack of discipline left him with just 1/4 of the fries He finally was able to eat 30 minutes after I received the food and his immediate reaction to biting into the burger was that it was really good! When he tried the fries he was impressed that they were still crispy and enjoyed the fries as much as I did. I wish they were coming back to next week's game, but I will definitely be there for every game they're popping up at (and to support my bf's team ofc ) .

I happily devoured this AMAZING meal. (Important: They only accept Cash and Venmo. Card is not accepted. Also, this is a pop-up stand that regularly sets up at Glendora's Olives Market.) I arrived at GR8 Burgers (San Dimas) on Friday (around 11:58AM). Parking is simple. There's a large gravel parking lot nearby. Also, there's immediate street parking before it. Staff is very charismatic, friendly, and hardworking. Staff maintained a consistent smile throughout my visit. The location is popular (filled with happy locals), and the line moves very quickly. My food took seven minutes and 30 seconds. Good time! As mentioned, I ordered the Double Cheeseburger ($11). It's one of the BEST burgers that I've ever had. The taste of clean, thick, juicy meat is IMMEDIATE! It's not a bland burger; rather, the freshness of its quality ingredients is very apparent. And it's cooked perfectly. I felt happy. On ambiance, GR8 Burgers (San Dimas) is barebones. It's a popup stand by a small store. Fortunately, they have shaded seating; there's about four tiny tables. The location doesn't have a hand sanitizer bottle or proper restroom, but I appreciated how Staff was able to ask the store member for a key to a sink. The location also plays upbeat music, and it's fairly clean despite only having one hidden trashcan. Regardless, I felt comfortable. Overall, I found unexpected magic at GR8 Burgers (San Dimas). There's no gimmick here... it's just hard work, quality ingredients, and genuine skill. If you love burgers, this is a MUST TRY! GO!! 5 out of 5! GO. Just go!

It is also unique as it only opens on a daily basis, but you can check their social media page for more current updates. So I followed them and on a Tuesday came here for lunchtime. Ordered a chili dog and man that chili dog was so delicious! My photo isn't really appealing but it was super good! Service was cool and there are some tables and chairs.

I stopped by this spot after a local recommended it as having one of the best matchas in Pasadena,…read moreand it definitely got me in the spirit to watch the new Minions and Monsters movie tomorrow! The Build: I ordered the banana cream matcha, which features a rich matcha base with standard oat milk, topped with a heavenly layer of banana cream and tiny, mysterious crunchy pieces. The Flavor Profile: Taste-wise, the drink was absolutely heavenly. The matcha itself was wonderfully rich, and mixing in the banana cream took it to the next level, while the crunchy toppings added a really nice occasional texture. The only real letdown was the size, the cup was just so tiny for an $8 price tag. Even though the flavors were incredible, it felt a bit hard to justify the steep cost for such a small portion. The Verdict: While the major price tag means this won't be an everyday habit, the solid flavors and super fast, friendly service make it a perfect spot for a little treat every once in a while. The staff had my drink out almost instantly around 10 AM on a Tuesday, and since I live so close, I'll definitely be back occasionally when I want to spoil myself.

We got the mango matcha rain, banana cream matcha, and banana latte. For $7-8 per drink, you get a very SMALL sized cup, I believe it's a 12 oz. Although oat milk is the standard for the matcha drinks, the price for such a small cup was not worth it. For the drinks itself, not sure what kind of matcha powder they are using but it doesn't seem to be grade quality. The banana latte also tasted like milk. Interior wise, plenty of tables & seating. Great for a study spot with ample street parking. Overall, for the price, quality, and sizes, I unfortunately will not be returning.
