Egg cheese turkey pita. Grits. Very tasty.

Very tasty. Will def be back. Eggs were fresh. Grits were tasty. No complaints. Very easy atmosphere.

Steak and onions with provolone. Add mustard and the right bag of chips.

Swing by this great little sandwich shop today for another great lunch. Took a friend of mine for his first visit to a real Yankee sandwich shop. If your from PA or New Jersey, you know....all da way, wit whiz! I ordered a cheese steak with onions and provolone and added mustard. Four guys who came in after I ordered thought my sub looked awesome and asked for my order so they could get one as well. If you're in the Lakewood area, you gotta stop in for a great meal. Get a bag of UTZ Chips and enjoy.

I went there with the hopes of getting a steak and cheese. The owner told me he was out of beef, however he offered me a great replacement --- chicken cheesesteak. I was so excited about the number of soda choices, soda flavors from my childhood and ones I had never seen before. The sub was good, great flavor and plentiful toppings. I'm hoping to visit again and get the steak and cheese my mouth has been waiting for.

Small local joint that's family owned and operated offering an expansive menu of breakfast and lunch. Definitely a dive vibe which works for me. Great place to grab a quick bite which for me today was a steak in a sack and fries. Everything was cooked to order and fresh and the pita was packed nicely with slivered steak and onions then topped with provolone. It's nothing special but you'll get what you expect when you walk in. Probably more of a 3.5 star rating, I would not hesitate to return when in the area. Reasonable prices and decent food.

Decent breakfast pita but a few issues caused me to lower the star rating. First no masks on employees. Second, several customers waiting without a mask. Third, sausage had a bit of bone shard in it. I thought I broke a tooth. I understand the sausage is probably a purchased brand but perhaps the low quality of their product means their supply source should be reevaluated. I doubt I would ever be back because it is not worth the drive and outside my haunting grounds

Next door to Owens gas, across the street from First Coast Deli & Grill.

One of the things I love about Jacksonville is the abundance of small family owned and operated sandwich shops that seem to be almost everywhere. Most of them offer good food and friendly service, and Adams is no exception. I stopped in today after getting gas next door, and I was in a hurry. I needed a camel rider sandwich, and I needed it fast. And that's almost what I got. Almost. They were out of salami, a critical component in the cold cut trio that makes a camel rider special. In their favor, they did double up on the ham and bologna, and it was a pretty tasty, filling sandwich for only $3.95. Hamburgers are only $2.75 to $3.95. They serve breakfast too; Platters with eggs, meat, and grits run $2.99 to $5.99 (for steak). On a hot summer day when you crave ice cream, they have it in many flavors, hand dipped the way you like it. If you're hungry and in the neighborhood, you should stop in for some good food and friendly service. Its next to the Owens gas station, across from the First Coast Deli and Grill. When you go, be sure to check out the daily specials.

Great "hole in the wall" joint. Foods good and prices are better. Burgers and deli type options.

Staff mentioned it was from drinks spilled by other guests, which really showed a lack of proper cleaning. We ordered all six appetizers but only received five, as the Guinness pub cheese never came out. The Reuben eggrolls were a 4/5 and the giant pretzel for two was a 5/5, but the other three appetizers were about a 1/5. The specialty drinks were also underwhelming. Angela's drink was mostly ice with very little flavor, especially disappointing for $15. My Irish cream drink needed ice added several times. I'm also unsure why a 13% gratuity was automatically added when there were only four of us with three separate checks. For two appetizers and two drinks, my bill came to $63 with tip. Very overly priced. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating, but she mentioned she was also the bartender, waitress and host, so it seemed like they were understaffed. Unfortunately, between the cleanliness issues, missing item, and underwhelming food and drinks, I'm not sure I'd come back.

Charlie was the lead bartender and our server, he is absolutely fantastic!! Such a people person with such a kind demeanor! So glad we had him! We started with the potato skins, which were delish! I chose the chicken quesadilla and my friend chose the chicken tenders with fries. Speaking as someone who LOVES a quesadilla...this one was perfect!! Put together well and did not fall apart one bit, very flavorful, and the tortilla was cooked correctly and was a perfect golden color, zero burn marks!! My friend loved her tenders as well, the crinkle fries were great too! Definitely will return to try more items!! The decor at this time for the Sippin Santa is the perfect ambiance for some fun & a night out! We had a great time, keep it up Laura- you've got a very special thing going here!!!

This was the first place that popped up for me. I am Diabetic 2, and I was feeling hungry and a little bit weak. I actually saw this place as I passed by on my way to my first appointment! I walked in and inquired if they had pita bread. The lady that waited on me was very nice. Yes, they did have pita breakfast sandwiches. She asked if I wanted butter or mayonnaise and I told her yes. I also had a cup of water. I had my coffee at home this morning. I see they have great prices and daily specials! I love that. They also have soups and salads. One review said they have great potato salad. I might get one, "to-go". I also noticed that they have regulars here, an elderly gentleman and also doctors and other medical professionals from the close by hospitals and doctor offices. I also noticed a police officer come in. I wished I lived closer. But, I will come by when I am in the area. It's always nice to find and discover new places. I was welcomed into the store as soon as I entered. The young man asked if it was my first time at the bakery. Then he took his time to give me a tour of the sweet and savory bakery items that they have on display and taught me how to select items by choosing a basket and a set of tongs for my choices. I purchased a banana muffin, which was almost as big as my fist and still could only eat half of it in a sitting.
