As an adult, I keep track of my appointments and dont want to be infantilized. If you don't confirm an appointment by the time they want, they will cancel your slot and make you an 'anytime appointment'. I understand needing a schedule, but I really dont like threats. Additionally, they just didn't show up for an appointment they pestered me about and when i contacted them at 6pm, i got an 'oopsie' reply from a third party person who said i'd be contacted by the office. That was several months ago so.... All in all I just didn't appreciate how I was treated.

I reached out to Rodent Retreat specifically because they are a local veteran-owned business, not a franchise. The whole team was amazing. I was able to schedule an inspection right away, and the gentleman who came explained different options to humanely remove the raccoon and prevent any other critters (including field mice and roof rats) from getting to the house. Based on the services I selected, they came back several times to repair the eaves, seal up possible points of entry on the roof and around the foundation, set rodent traps in the attic and garage, and sanitize the attic. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly and polite, communication was exceptional, and pricing is very reasonable, especially given the high quality of service. They really went above and beyond. I highly recommend Rodent Retreat!

We called them for an inspection after a roof repair a few years ago, and they came right out. We lost our contact and missed a couple of inspections. In June we heard a noise and called the office. We discussed the warranty issue, paid for the inspection, and they quickly sent out Raul to perform an inspection. During the inspection, Raul found a recurring problem area where the flashing pulled up at a roof return. He made the repair and set traps. Raul came out a few days later, and all was clear. Omega performs quality work and honors their warranty. I suggest that when you use them that you put an annual reminder in your calendar to schedule annual inspections.

Now as long as their work is okay then at least you got something in return for the $$$ you paid, but that is not the case. I fell for the fear bait and the service I got was not at all worth the price. They constantly missed sealing spots that the sales person said and after I asked multiple times did a half effort to seal it which resulted in absolutely 0 rodents or animals removed or captured. Then randomly my biweekly check ups just stopped happening and they ghosted me. When I confronted management after a few months of no response they offered to pay for me to keep my mouth shut and offered a contract for me to sign that I wouldn't make a bad review or tell anyone. Of course I did not sign and called my bank for a refund. Please be aware that they don't have worse reviews because they'll pay and give you a binding contract to keep your mouth shut. Slimey company

Aaron came out the very next day to take a look at my property. He told me that there was nearly no damage to my attic, just a few holes around the roof line of my house. He put these little doors on the holes so that the squirrels could leave but not get back in. Within a week, he came back and fixed up the holes. He was able to do this while I was at work, which was really convenient. This work cost less than I expected and the animals were out quickly. all the staff which I talked to were nice and very knowledgeable. I like that they're construction focused and humane to animals instead of exterminator service. There have been no more critters in my attic, driving my dogs insane with their squirrely sounds.

We'd been having a problem with mud daubers coming into our house, so I requested them come and see if they can find where they're potentially coming from. Our technician (I think his name was Trey, I'm horrible with names) came in, sprayed the basewall of the house, and didn't really say much about the issue. Afterwards he worked on the outside of the house, but I can at the very least tell that he missed a nest that I specifically told him about, and left without saying a word. (again, was expecting him to come in and give the run down of what he did / found, contacted cs and they left a note for the next technician to do this before leaving) We'll see if the issue still persists and probably call for a follow up if it does. At the very least customer service is quick and helpful with their response, and I'll update this review if the problem does not persist *update: They responded to our review with a follow up regarding the services provided. I received a call from Mike explaining what happened, and got a lesson in pests which was nice because googling was not as helpful as it could be. Trey came back and this time was more thorough with explaining to us what was going on, so pretty much my complaints were addressed.

From the very first day of service, I received conflicting information from the technician and the owner regarding their payment policy. One told me I could make payments as needed, while the other told me I was required to be on autopay. That should have been my first red flag. I eventually moved out of the home and contacted Pest Solutions about transferring my service. I was told they no longer serviced the area where I moved and that I could cancel my service. I specifically advised them back in May that I wanted to cancel because I no longer lived at the property and they did not service my new area. Now, months later, I received a call about scheduling service for the old property. I immediately contacted them and explained that I had already cancelled my service and no longer lived there. I was apologized to and told it would be taken care of. I was also again told that they do not service my new area. Then, without anyone discussing it with me or getting my authorization, I received an email stating, "Thank you for your payment." I was never informed that I would be charged, and I certainly never agreed to a payment being processed. I called back and asked to speak with a manager, but of course, no manager was available. I was again given an apology and told that because I no longer have service, I would still be charged. What is most frustrating is the complete lack of effort to make this situation right. I cancelled months ago, I no longer live at the property, and their own service area does not include where I currently live. Yet somehow I am still being charged. Unfortunately, the repeated miscommunication, conflicting information, lack of accountability, and poor customer service have completely changed my opinion of this company. An apology means very little when there is no effort to actually resolve the problem or take responsibility for what happened.

Called two weeks ago to inform them that my entire was not being mowed and that I had grass down the center that was at least 3 to 4 inches taller. Gave them two weeks to correct, still not correct- it's now worse, I have strips of tall green grass and burned grass to the soil. Was promised crew would be out on Friday or Saturday to fix. Waited until late Saturday and was then told they were waiting on the crew manager to reach back out to them and they would try for Monday. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the new management team no longer does this. To add insult to injury, they mowed off a sprinkler head in an area they mowed too low. After I shared I recently paid over $400 to have my whole system checked and repaired, they came out within a few days to fix the broken head. When I called Chorbie Weed Treatment, they actually made an effort to keep my business as they now serve as two separate entities. I hired another company to come out and mow properly. Yard looks great again. It's just hard to believe they just let a loyal customer go that fast.

One of my neighbors who has been using Addison Pest Control over 10 years recommended them to me when I was looking for someone to install some termite protection. I left a message and my call was returned promptly. They showed up for the appointment on time, inspected my house and outlined options. They were there right on time for the second appointment to install the termite baits. We had a small problem when a sprinkler line was punctured, but Corry made everything right by having an irrigation company make repairs. A good company to deal with. Addison Pest Control is a great option if you live in the Frisco area. I found them via the BBB website and have not been disappointed. Their prices are better if not comparable to the companies that solicit on your doorstep, plus you don't feel like they are trying to just sell you a contract. All of the service people who have come seem to really know the business. I appreciate their no-nonsense approach to pest control, and it's a bonus that their materials are children and pet-safe. read more

I continued to try and give this company every opportunity to act professional, show up on time and actually do what they were hired to do. They have never been less than an hour late to my property and they serviced it approximately every month. Not one time did they show up when they stated or even within an hour past the window of time they stated. Anything that is beyond their eye level, gets missed. I had to constantly call back and have them come back out to service it a second time because the wasp nests and other insects had nests right on the walls or lower roof line, skipped the nest 3 times even though it was pointed out on multiple occasions. I recently decided to give them another opportunity, the rep showed up 1 hour 30 minutes later than the time he had sent me saying he was 30 minutes from my house. Missed several hot spots. Since he was late beyond 1 hour 30 minutes, I dismissed the tech and will never use this company again. Lack of professionalism, doesn't seem to care about having customers wait at times 3 hours beyond scheduled time window in the past, they obviously don't care or learn from their mistakes. Hire a professional company that can communicate when outside the window by hours or a company that cares since the owner / president doesn't give a crap. Hire them and you'll experience the same garbage. Everyone in this community experienced the same as I have and fired them.
