Right now it is recommended to make reservations. At the moment there is no indoor dining, so bundle up. Although the patio is covered and closed in on 3 sides their is still a bit of breeze coming in. They do have patio heaters to help but if you are close to the golf course, it's rather chilly. The menu has several different selections and you can blow which is nice. They do have good cocktails too. Service was fairly attentive but food could have been a bit warmer. I suspect the distance from the kitchen to the tables is rather far so covers may be needed to maintain temps, The quality is good and the decor is on point. Finally, prices weren't too bad compared to comparable restaurants. If you don't live in the Trilogy community, it can seem like you are heading to the middle of nowhere to eat at night, but it's really a nice place. I would encourage folks to try it once indoor dining is permitted or when it warms up a bit. In the words of Arnold.... I'll be back!! read more

Drove up from Santa Maria to try someplace we have never been before. Pretty easy to find and get to. The decor and ambiance is very nice. It can get a little noisy near the bar area but that's to be expected. Wanted to order the ahi poke nachos appetizer to start but were told all the ahi is gone, so no nachos or ahi main. Bummer. Did find out there are some appetizers not listed on the menu. Basic items that didn't sound that intriguing but good to know. Had a cup of clam chowder to start with, really tasty. Found out that the only difference between the Cioppino and the Seafood Alfredo is the sauce base, Alfredo of course being creamy and Cioppino being more liquidy. The Cipppino should really be labeled Cioppino Over Pasta. Usually I like Cioppino in more of a soup/stew form with no pasta at all. I saw someone else's review (after the fact) that the Seafood Alfredo had no flavor to it and I'd have to agree. It was a good portion size but just...bland. Tried adding salt but the salt grinder barely put anything else; it wasn't worth the struggle. It feels like if the chefs just tasted the food they would hopefully notice that it needs some seasoning and all would be fine. The baby back ribs were just fine as well. A little overcooked but not enough to ruin the whole dish. The best part of our meal was the service. Our server was a delight and fairly attentive. She saved this from being a 1 star review. read more

Yikes! What happened to this place? Used to be very solid, great burger - great everything. We just ate there and everything was just plain awful. We had the seafood pasta, spaghetti and meatballs and a few other things. I added about half a container of salt to the seafood pasta and it did not help. Not quite sure that is even possible but this was the worst pasta I've ever tasted, anywhere. The spaghetti and meatballs tasted like they used sugar and ketchup as the sauce. Like, sweet ketchup spaghetti sauce. You do the math, who the heck is tasting this and saying, "Yeah, let's put that on the menu!"???? I couldn't get over the feeling that nobody cares, because this is the only real restaurant option in the entire area. But rest assured, we will never be back. Such a shame, this is a beautiful venue - in the middle of a beautiful neighborhood. If you just put in a tiny bit of effort this could really be an amazing experience. read more

Do the longest time pass 2-3 years I didn't want to go to Adelina's because the food was so subpar especially for a restaurant with great ambience and staff, all I could get was a pizza. They had taken all my favorites off the menu and shrunk the million dollar burger to dime size. Then we got a new chef Rene. A world of difference. I'm no longer embarrassed to invite friends to dinner with us. The food, presentation and flavors are great. Must try the ribeye, ahi tuna spinach salad, seafood pasta are recommended. We are so happy to have our neighborhood bistro back. Please Keep this chef!!! read more

This lovely spot to be seen and enjoy a drink or dinner was pretty full on a Friday night. The open space lends for a bit of a loud experience but visually it is quite marvelous. Our party reserved the captains room for a dinner meeting which was nice as it allowed us to talk. But Beware, there is no air in there. It's basically a stuffy coat closet. Dinner wasn't spectacular. Fairly good but for the clientele and vibe of this restaurant I would have expected a more elevated dining experience in regards to food. Will I be back for dinner? Get a reservation and then brace yourself. The millionaire burger is so amazingly delicious. I think the last time I had a burger this good was in New Orleans at Emerils restaurant There isn't a dress code- as the receptionist said to me "come in your pajamas if you want". We have a few friends that live in the Monarch Dunes property and they highly recommended Adelina's Bistro. We had a party of 10 so we made reservations ahead of time. To our surprise, they seated us in a private room. The service was excellent and food was wonderful. They have daily specials but offer other amazing dishes. Their salad was outstanding, light and refreshing. Food came out hot and good timing. Definitely recommend the Kobe burger. Plenty of parking. They have a small area where you can purchase food, snacks and drinks and wine/beer. read more

Weird that I've never written a review of Adelina's. I live right nearby (not in Trilogy, those f***ing butterfly-habitat-destroying jackholes!). Beyond the whole, "ick, I don't want to drive thru Monarch Dunes to get to the restaurant," we rarely go because they're so hit and miss. I understand why and I've written about this before in other reviews. It's very hard to maintain quality when you have very few diners. The soup sits for hours. The sauces sit for hours. The desserts sit for hours. Etc. You end up having to choose between very few options or lower quality. Or going broke. I give Adelina's credit for trying to be a classy joint but they really struggle to pull it off. When they're successful, it's great. Case in point: their hummus plate is fantastic! Some of the best hummus I've ever had. But I literally can't think of another item on their menu that has stood out. Part of the blame can be put on their Trilogy clients. I encounter a lot of their new homeowners in my work and they're definitely a demographic! Newly retired from the heartland, they've successfully navigated the suburban-white-people track of success and are ready to spend the rest of their lives in a creepy-ass golfing paradise. They're not the most culturally sophisticated bunch. They have their own fancy-pants restaurant and they don't like all that complex stuff they never heard of back in ____. It's like one of the other reviewers said: "hor derves were fresh." So you'll find a lot of dishes that the golfers recognize: Flank steak, chicken marsala, grilled salmon...I think I'll drive to Ember. read more

Adelina's Bistro is a stunningly beautiful place, from the moment you walk in the massive, beautifully carved doors. The food is acceptable; their market side salads are beautiful, fresh and delicious, but their service is very erratic. We have lived in the area for about 25 years, and gone to Adelina's for dinner maybe half a dozen times, and each time, have the same experience. It takes forever for a server to attend to your table. A couple of times, they promptly greet us and bring a menu, and then we wait and wait. Other times, they bring our order and never return to refill water. More than once, when our meal is finished, we wait and wait for our check, even needing to get up and go find someone to assist us. We wonder often what management decisions or procedures cause this to be the case, but have tried to go back at different times to see if our experience is different. Sadly, we have found different versions of the same. What a waste, for such a beautiful place. read more

Brick oven pizzas are wonderful, generous toppings & chewy, smoky crust. Thurs. night salmon street tacos were the hit of our table, reasonably priced & delicious. Happy that you don't have to be a resident or "member" to enjoy this fine dining establishment. What a classy place! The ambiance is fantastic, service is usually pretty good, and the food is pretty affordable considering the posh surroundings. Try the Monarch Burger made from Kobe beef. You are in good hands with him, especially if you want a specialty or classic cocktail, or want information about different types of tequila, whiskey, etc. new menu: far better. More choices. We had entree salads, double pork chop, pizza, pasta, and wine. All very very good. We sat at the bar and service was prompt and very good. Less of a crowd than during packed summer months. We are new owners at Trilogy and decided to try Adelina's Bistro after a long day of moving. When we entered, Bella, the hostess was so gracious and warmly greeted us with her wonderful smile while seating us in the beautiful dining room. She even asked our names which really made us feel welcomed to Trilogy. Our server was Jacob and he was also very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He explained very knowledgeably about the menu when we told him we were new and then brought us some fresh, hot rolls and butter......yummy. We loved our food, especially the ahi appetizer and the pizza. For dessert, the chocolate mousse hit the spot. Our evening was so nice, we went back the next day for lunch and dinner! (We even ordered the ahi appetizer both times!). We are so impressed with Bella and Jacob because they made sure our time there was really worth it and the food is worth returning often. read more

I've eaten here several times. Each time there has been some good, and some bad. Last night, Saturday, October 13th, I brought my father there. We arrived about 10 minutes after 5 PM. The entire restaurant and lounge were empty. Not one guest. The hostess asked if we had a reservation, and when we told her we did not, she said she could not seat us. She didn't suggest we sit in the lounge at the bar or anything. I know we could've done that, as they don't reserve tables at the bar. I just found her to be rude and condescending. No smile, no "I'm sorry were booked up". No suggestion that we sit in the lounge. My dad and I left, and had a lovely Thai food dinner nearby. Because of her attitude, I didn't even try to sit in the bar. Plus, as I said, she never even suggested it! I will say that the atmosphere here is lovely, and that I have had good service in the past. However, one day there was only one person working, covering the bar, waitressing and hostessing. She did an amazing job, but could not appropriately handle all of the customers because they were so short staffed. The food is kind of hit and miss. I had a lovely artichoke pasta there one time. People I've gone with have told me they thought the food was flavorless. I think it depends what you order and who's cooking that night. read more

First time at this restaurant, the atmosphere was inviting and beautiful but not intimate. Food was fantastic. I had the flank steak with bearnaise sauce and it was scrumptious My wife had the chicken marsala. We argued as to whose dish is better. We will definitely return. The food was wonderful! The service was the worst! The "waiters" did not know the menu, were amateur, overly chatty and brought wrong items and forgot items. Were they all in training with no one overseeing? No waiter there knew the menu items. They didn't remove used plates. One of us had a birthday, which they asked about when we arrived, but then forgot about it. We were left waiting for long periods with no attention even though there were hardly any customers. We will wait a while before we go back for the wonderful food, hoping the service staff learn what to do. I rate 4 stars for food, 1 star for service. read more

They used to have a Million dollar burger which was delicious, now they offer what they call an "angus 'triple cut' burger made with Chuck,short rib and brisket. Our friends who live in the area introduced my husband and I to Adelina's and as we entered, it was very impressive. Most important was the customer service. The host is the first one to greet you which sets the mood in any customer service establishment. We were very pleased with Monica, who greeted us with a sweet smile and escorted us to our table right away. Sometimes the host/hostess gets looked over, but they are just as valuable in a customer's experience as the service is. Our server, Dean, continued this fine experience throughout the evening. So, thank you Monica, and Dean for your great customer service and making our first experience at Adelina's a memorable one! Please be sure to pass this onto them. They are keepers! The only complaint I had was my order, which was the BLTA sandwich. The sourdough bread was inferior (not the quality I'd expect at this kind of restaurant) and very little avacado. This is the reason for the 4 stars. The other meals ordered by my husband and friends were very good. So, next time, I'll order one of those. read more
