The Admirals lounge at gate A20 is the smaller lounge in this terminal. It's still away from the general crowds of the airport with better bathrooms, a bar and food. The bar doesn't open until 6am sharp lol, and don't expect anything a second before.

You just can't beat the food, service, and atmosphere or the AA admirals clubs. What better way to wait for your flight than to relax or work in the club and chow down on the delicious food offerings?! This time we had a mid morning flight so we were offered delicacies such as shrimp tempura and fried rice, hummus with veggies, cheese and meat selections, fruits, and of course the wonderful jars of snack mixes and jelly beans! Along with food they have drinks including fancy coffees, alcohol and sodas etc. The staff are welcoming and friendly and also do their job well to make sure it's an exclusive club which really makes being an AA member worth it in more ways than just flying.

Food: 3* Service: 4* Ambiance: 3* Located near gate A20, this is one of the smaller, albeit on a single floor admirals club. Great place to relax and ease into your vacation or rest between flights. They offer a variety of food to nibble on and leaded and unleaded drinks.

Great lounge to relax at while waiting for your flight at Sky Harbor. Not the biggest lounge but very comfortable

In line with expectations, this location has creative buffet food, great looking cocktails (though it was too early on my visit to try), and good service. The drawbacks are about the smaller space. It's beautifully designed but weirdly open to the terminal. Unlike the other Sapphire lounges, there's no food to order from the menu. We got in early just before the line started forming. Reservations through the Chase app are a great option, but only available at least 24 hours in advance. There is little hope for a non-Chase Priority Pass holder to get in except at the very quietest times of day.

The lounge at Sky Harbor is where Southwest operates, at gate D11 on the upper levels. You need the…read moreChase Sapphire card for access, but they may have a paid one-time access: check online for rules. We went to have a calmer and quieter wait for our flight: the ambiance is quite nice, very busy at the front desk, with a dining area to the left, a pleasant bar looking outside, as well as a smaller area to the right with a few tables for sitting and make use of the buffet style offerings. Unfortunately for me everything had the dreaded Chili spicing everything; so I had the nice pearl barley with cheese, herbs and a dressing, some lemon rice that had no lemon (?) so that was sadly bland and dry. For me this food offering was disappointing... however, with my deadly allergy, I had little choice or way to change this. Perhaps the menu could include a few offers of allergy-safe foods besides catering only to peanut - a well known one- allergic people. Several wait staff were in the lounge, but none too prone to asking customers for orders: I thought drinks would be served by table service, while the food was buffet style in the area we were seated. But..the QR code at our table either didn't work or the network was slow so we couldn't order drinks; either way ordering wasn't a very smooth experience. Overall a good way to pass time before your flight. In April we had booked the lounge again, sadly the reservation made for 0600hrs was listed as evening i.e 1800hrs and others were let in while we were waiting outside to fix this issue;. We ended up leaving because it was getting to be a long wait and we were leaving from a gate far away. I truly hope the 24 hour clock gets used more - it's standard in Europe and many other countries (not just military, as some think of it) exactly to avoid these problems. The restrooms are clean, unisex, and handicap friendly; the lounge will hold your wheelchair while you're inside or call for the red-bench 'shuttle'. The airport assistance staff are great, and the service is always appreciated. My only "issue" is with that red-bench PAX shuttle used inside the terminal: the seating is extremely rigid and upright, and the ride was rough enough that I briefly wondered whether complimentary astronaut training had been added to the airport experience..... Speed is good but not becoming airborne and wondering if all my vertebrae are still there Enjoy the lounge, but don't miss your flight!

The lounge is essentially one large room with chairs arranged fairly close together. There are a few long high-top tables and a counter running along the windows, but there aren't really any private areas aside from a small business center with just a handful of seats. If you're looking for a quiet corner or separate lounge spaces, this location is somewhat limited. The food selection was surprisingly good. Even after 10 PM, staff were actively refilling the hot food station, which was appreciated. There was also a deli area stocked with charcuterie meats, cheeses, hummus, and other snacks, plus a coffee station, a small snack bar with trail mix, pretzels, and jelly beans, and a dessert station featuring cookies, brownies, and cupcakes. The bar was fully stocked as well. The bathrooms were on the smaller side but clean and well maintained. One downside is that not every seat has access to power outlets, although the high-top counter along the windows offers several charging options. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were also traveling with our pets and had no issues checking into the lounge. Since many airport lounges have become less pet-friendly, it was nice to have a comfortable place to relax with them before our flight. Overall, it's not the most spacious or private Admirals Club, but the friendly staff, solid food offerings, and pet-friendly policy made for an enjoyable visit.

Be forewarned, this is my not my favorite Admirals Club by any stretch. Depending on my mood, it…read moremight end up being one of my least favorite locations in the country. It's a tight squeeze and often crowded, to the point where (airport) lounging is nearly an oxymoron. For folks who are know the mediocre Admirals Club experience in other areas will know what to expect with food and service. Maintenance is always variable, depending on how robust the staff is, which is often a problem here. Dishes are not picked up quickly, buffet stations are sometimes a mess, bathroom floors might feel sticky, and service is lacking overall. The food is nothing remarkable, but then again neither is any Admirals Club location that I've tried. It really depends on the day, but even during the guacamole service (which also doubles as an avocado toast bar), it is still lackluster. Bagels are dry If there's any place to hang out, it might be the bar. Assuming one can snag a seat, whomever the bartender is that day is typically the key to a quality experience. The WiFi is decent and paired with a nice drink, can be a solid way to enjoy a layover and be the start of pre-flight shenanigans. In addition to it being crowded, it can also be noisy. Given how busy PHX already is, the claustrophobic vibe is most definitely real. Anyone traveling in groups should reconsider coming here, but solo travelers who can tolerate the chaos might do well with some noise cancelling phones and with a little luck, a chair and a table to enjoy and pass the time.
