When traveling, lounges are never a bad idea! While flying AA from AZ to ATL recently, I popped into the Admiral's Club to burn about 3 hours until my flight. Upon entry, the club was bright, clean and welcoming, always a nice vibe when you've been lugging your bags around. There was ample seating but comfy chairs seemed to be limited, leaving many to choose the bar-like/round table seating on the other side of the club. I opted for a comfy lounge chat that was connected to a side table offering power. Win! I'm happy that I snagged this seat because as the hours went on, more folks came in and it got very busy. The food offerings were limited but delicious nevertheless! The Lentil Soup was a surprise favorite and I had a few bowls honestly, absolutely no shame and would love the recipe. They also offered complimentary veggies, bar options and sweets that were far better than expected. I also ordered a few non-complimentary items at they were all perfect for getting me relaxed before flying. They also offered guacamole made on-site to your liking , such a nice thing touch. Safe flying, friends!

The food has gotten considerably better. The staff is the same. Hit or miss. Some are excellent. Love having fresh Gouda chunks and fresh Buffalo mozzarella. Sometimes it's packed, but today, most seats are opened.

Decent food service and facilities by A7.. ambiance is similar to all admirals clubs.. generally quiet

I have to agree with the other postings on how great and friendly the staff is at this club. However, the club has some serious deficiencies in terms of maintenance and the quality of the food and refreshments served. The food included a white chili as the main dish with vegetables as the side dish. The club was packed when I got there so it was hard to find a seat. I do have to commend them on their on-site guacamole chef. she made fresh guacamole with your choice of condiments. That was actually cool. If you have to pay for a day pass my recommendation would be not to. Pick any of the restaurants in the airport and get a better meal and beverage while you wait for your flight. If your access to the club is free via your credit card or a partner airline, go for it and get your free stuff. Otherwise, don't pay out of pocket.

Very messy everywhere... The people at this table had left over 30 min ago

Disgusting and sadly understaffed. It was messy throughout the entire area. I get it. It's 10am on a Thursday and really busy. But they should have more cleaners. In addition to most tables not being cleared, the bathroom was also gross. Someone had left menstrual blood on the floor in the stalls. Ugh! Unsanitary. Won't ever be coming back.

Instead of pita they used raw English muffin slices. The horror!!!

The one near A21 is tiny and needs a face lift. Always too crowded. Wish they could solve it.

Over crowded, food is the same old thing. Not worth the cost of admission. If you must visit, get a day pass if you can.

There should be an age limit in these lounges. Admiral club do better that's why people pay money to avoid this.

We went to have a calmer and quieter wait for our flight: the ambiance is quite nice, very busy at the front desk, with a dining area to the left, a pleasant bar looking outside, as well as a smaller area to the right with a few tables for sitting and make use of the buffet style offerings. Unfortunately for me everything had the dreaded Chili spicing everything; so I had the nice pearl barley with cheese, herbs and a dressing, some lemon rice that had no lemon (?) so that was sadly bland and dry. For me this food offering was disappointing... however, with my deadly allergy, I had little choice or way to change this. Perhaps the menu could include a few offers of allergy-safe foods besides catering only to peanut - a well known one- allergic people. Several wait staff were in the lounge, but none too prone to asking customers for orders: I thought drinks would be served by table service, while the food was buffet style in the area we were seated. But..the QR code at our table either didn't work or the network was slow so we couldn't order drinks; either way ordering wasn't a very smooth experience. Overall a good way to pass time before your flight. In April we had booked the lounge again, sadly the reservation made for 0600hrs was listed as evening i.e 1800hrs and others were let in while we were waiting outside to fix this issue;. We ended up leaving because it was getting to be a long wait and we were leaving from a gate far away. I truly hope the 24 hour clock gets used more - it's standard in Europe and many other countries (not just military, as some think of it) exactly to avoid these problems. The restrooms are clean, unisex, and handicap friendly; the lounge will hold your wheelchair while you're inside or call for the red-bench 'shuttle'. The airport assistance staff are great, and the service is always appreciated. My only "issue" is with that red-bench PAX shuttle used inside the terminal: the seating is extremely rigid and upright, and the ride was rough enough that I briefly wondered whether complimentary astronaut training had been added to the airport experience..... Speed is good but not becoming airborne and wondering if all my vertebrae are still there Enjoy the lounge, but don't miss your flight!

It opens right at 4:30 AM, and honestly, the food is so much better than Escape. The lounge was super quiet with no wait at all - granted, I got there right when it opened. I immediately grabbed a seat close to the food and drinks because priorities. Lol Don't forget to check out the Airstream too by the seats "outside". They offer a different menu for breakfast and lunch, which is a fun little bonus. I'm not much of a drinker before a flight, so I didn't get to try any of the specialty cocktails. But I thought it was pretty cool that there's a QR code at each table where you can order from the bar, and they'll bring it right to you. I was honestly most impressed by the breakfast selection and how clean everything was. The bathroom was fine not a ton of stalls but for an early morning flight, this lounge is such a great option. The service is top notch -I had Antoine ask if I want anything from the breakfast bar and he can bring it to my table. He was also the kind person who checked me in. I can definitely see how this place gets packed later in the day, but if you have an early flight, it's absolutely worth checking out!

It's a tight squeeze and often crowded, to the point where (airport) lounging is nearly an oxymoron. For folks who are know the mediocre Admirals Club experience in other areas will know what to expect with food and service. Maintenance is always variable, depending on how robust the staff is, which is often a problem here. Dishes are not picked up quickly, buffet stations are sometimes a mess, bathroom floors might feel sticky, and service is lacking overall. The food is nothing remarkable, but then again neither is any Admirals Club location that I've tried. It really depends on the day, but even during the guacamole service (which also doubles as an avocado toast bar), it is still lackluster. Bagels are dry If there's any place to hang out, it might be the bar. Assuming one can snag a seat, whomever the bartender is that day is typically the key to a quality experience. The WiFi is decent and paired with a nice drink, can be a solid way to enjoy a layover and be the start of pre-flight shenanigans. In addition to it being crowded, it can also be noisy. Given how busy PHX already is, the claustrophobic vibe is most definitely real. Anyone traveling in groups should reconsider coming here, but solo travelers who can tolerate the chaos might do well with some noise cancelling phones and with a little luck, a chair and a table to enjoy and pass the time.
