I love this spot. Never heard of a doner kebab before this place but it is delicious! I get the chicken doner which is similar to a gyro but on an even more flavorful and lighter lepinja bread topped with sesame seeds. Baked in house. Peep all their delicious desserts also made on site. Definitely a Gwinnett county gem of a lunch spot. (or dinner, their specials look amazing) Their side salad is perfect if you like a Greek type salad with olives and cucumbers. Pistachio baklava, can't go wrong. Everything I've tried is delicious. Eat in all you want at this place, food is good and although the owner doesn't pay attention to what you're ordering and forgets that you ordered a platter instead of just a sandwich, he follows through after a bit of attitude. Take out, I don't recommend. The platters, sandwiches and gyros have things missing. One was supposed to have lettuce and tomatoes, but they never put it on and when we called about it, they said, "you never asked"...So now I'm supposed to ask about something that clearly states will be in a sandwich on the menu and verbally? Not good...Owner was nice when leaving, but just be sure to check your food and repeat your order...oh and don't forget to tell them to put lettuce, tomatoes and whatever else goes on your sandwich or platter, be sure to mention meat too cause they may just give you a bread and say, "you never asked for it"...so remember to get "ask" for the meat and everything it says it will have. read more

Great Philly special on Thursday, meat is tender, grilled onions, green peppers, seasoned well, comes with fries or you can get a greek salad. The also have a variety of deserts to try. This is a casual place to have a burger but it has a Mediterranean twist to it. When you walk in it's nice little casual place and you seat yourself. When you're ready you go up to the counter to place your order. They do have Fountain drinks and they have interesting drinks from other countries which is pretty cool, there is a Fanta that is blue which is exotic fruit from another country and they have many more. I got myself a gyro Burger which comes with french fries. They also have a Greek Burger, veggie burger and another Burger I can't remember. My gyro burger taste like a gyro but in a bun it was amazing. On my way out I did get tiramisu it was okay but I should have tried their famous raspberry tiramisu. They are Halal too. I would give this place ten stars if I could! My mom and I stopped by to buy some pastries. After making our selections with the help of a knowledgeable young man my mom paid for the pastries and we left. We live almost an hour away and only visit Lawrenceville about every three months. Later that evening a friend of ours called and asked if my mom has lost her wallet. We said - no - but then she checked her purse and she did not have her wallet. No sooner had that friend called than the phone rang and it was the owner of the Adriatic Grill saying that he had my mom's wallet! We were very grateful for his honesty and kindness! read more

The chicken doner was amazing, so fresh and perfect sauce to chicken ratio. The portions are large and very affordable. The employees and owner are very nice and welcoming. We ended up in this little gem by chance. We were driving and hungry and saw it on the side of the road. I am so glad we stopped in. I tried the Doner, which was huge and delicious. I got feta on the side and OH SWEET GOODNESS was it tasty and I was full for the rest of the night.. I also tried the Angus burger and must that was really good too. This place also had a really nice assortment of baked goods. I must admit that I got a piece of this jello cake and the fat girl in me tried to eat it but I was already too full. I just took it home and plan to eat it later. This place has been open for about two months but will definitely be around for a long time. Since I've been having a taste for a gyro lately, I took upon myself to go get one and try it out. All of the reviews I've seen as being very good, I couldn't let that pass me by. I did the Doner today, plenty of sauce and it was delicious I must admit. I can't give 5 stars because that would be saying as good as it gets without me even trying the other restaurants that does gyros. Now I've noticed something about some of these reviews and you all may want to take some with a grain of salt. When you see reviews with no picture of the member and it's always the first review they have ever done, with no friends or no tips, that's a dead giveaway that someone just started that account just to hype the establishment up. This is my first Yelp review because this is the first good eatery I've found on Yelp that I didn't know about before. Business had me in Lawrenceville and I wanted somewhere "different" to go to. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like classic American dishes, pizza, or any other kind of standard lunch place, but I wanted different. The reviews were fantastic, and the #1 thing that drew me in were the consistent positive comments about the owner. Well, add another one to that list. First of all, when I go to a restaurant and the owner is doing the cooking, I suspect a few things: 1. This guy REALLY cares about his food. 2. He's shortstaffed and thus has to do the cooking himself. I think the truth is a mix of these two. Yes, there was only one other person helping him -- some college-aged kid. But what made it special is that they both were speaking another language (I'm guessing Turkish?) and I could tell from the way the owner interacted with him that the owner REALLY cared about the details. Before this kid delivered food out to the other patrons, the owner would come by, rearrange the plating, pick out stray bits, add extra touches, etc. It was a great effort for a place where most of the menu items are $5 or less!! Anyways, on to the food. I ordered the Grill Special chevabi - basically grilled mini sausages on their Turkish donare bread. Wow. Very good. Extremely fresh, no grizzle or bone in the meat, and the bread was soft, warm, and moist . It's an $8 menu item, and I got full halfway through. More for later, right?? :) I also tried a macchiato (the kid prepared it, so it didn't LOOK nice like the Yelp page, but it tasted great. Good quality coffee here - they're not skimping. Also tried some baklava (the triangle kind, not the fingers). I've had rich baklava before with tons of nuts and stuffing...this one was a simpler, milder baklava. Deliciously moist, full of honey, and left me wanting more. I took some home to share later, and I'm sure it'll be a hit. Some other reviewers have mentioned that food prep seems to be slow -- well, here's my take. The place LOOKS like a strip mall franchise restaurant (think Subway, Firehouse, etc.) and in those "restaurants" food gets served out extremely quickly. Here there's one guy cooking. Everything is made to order. Everything is fresh. Also, one other note, you pay AFTER you've had your meal. Nice touch. All that together makes me suggest that if you visit this place, you visit it as if it were a restaurant (albeit a low-cost one!). Then the expected wait times probably match up with reality, at least if you go at lunch when there were ~7 people ahead of me and another ~7 people who came in through the course of my meal. One last thing....this place is CLEAN!. Grill hood, clean. Plastic separator between cookspace and dining area, clean. Men's bathroom? Spotless. I highly recommend this place for someone who is looking for an authentic restaurant. Authentic in the sense that it's run by someone who truly cares. I even had a few words with the owner on my way out. It was very busy, but he still took time to ask me what I thought, give recommendations, and even some history about how the food came about. Ordered the gyro plate with Greek salad, and spanikopita (my favorites!). No spinach pie except on weekends. Gyro was really dry, but toppings were great and tzatziki was really creamy. Salad was okay, but lacking feta (as was pictured) Meal came with a drink. I don't drink soda so my option was Powerade. The fries were pretty delicious, fresh and hot. The first time I attempted to go here, they were cleaning the grease. Not sure why during business hours. I'd gone on a Saturday or Sunday (I think on Sunday) around 6:30. The cashier was friendly but said they were changing the grease so wouldn't be able to make fries. I told him I'd need fries for all 4 of my orders. When he mentioned they were changing the grease, I asked what time did they close (maybe online had the incorrect closing time). He said 8:00. It puzzled me that they'd change the grease randomly during normal business hours hours. I think I saw the manager on the way out. He noticed I basically was in and out with no food. He asked if everything was okay. I told him I was told they were changing the oil. He goes yes we do that weekly. It should be ready in about 30 mins. I was thinking me and my family are ready for dinner now. I just said okay, thanks. So my husband and I returned on Fri, May 31 for lunch. We thought the gyro was ehhh - okay. The meat was cold. I prefer my meat hot...at least warm. Parts of the pita bread was hard on both mine and his. It did have a nice flavor though. Some of the meat was dry. Fries no complaints. The best part. The desserts looked great but we did not try. We know of other better gyro spots, so we probably will just stick with those. read more

Mmmm, mmmm, good. Hubs and I went here last night after I got a gyro craving and turned to my trusty Yelp. The guy working behind the counter was super friendly, and our gyros were GREAT! I want another one right now. He chopped the veggies fresh while preparing the meat/wrap and fries. The sauce on the gyro was so delicious - and they give you a lot of it, which I appreciate. The fries were of the frozen variety, but they were perfectly fried and salted. And the portion of each was definitely large enough. Wow is all I can say. Yes the place is owned by Bosnian, but hey if it's good, it's all good. I am by no means expert on Greek cuisine, so please do not take my review as authentic but just based on the flavors. The Gyro is very flavorful with the given meats, the texture was great. I did miss Taziki sauce like Dawn mentioned below. I would've given 5 stars if the sour cream was replaced with Taziki sauce. Got a side of the fries, it's just a genetic off the shelf fries, but they fried it so perfect it tastes like they cut it in the store and fried it. lol but none the less the fries are more than likely off the shelf ones. Can't speak for the salads or the burgers as I haven't tried those, but overall, I was very satisfied with what I had. Maybe Doner on my next try? read more

The food, customer service, and prices are great. The gyro and doner are both great. The Greek salad is large and very tasty. I usually make the mistake of eating too much and not leaving room for dessert. Many people come in just for the desserts. New items are being added to menu of the relatively new restaurant. It's not always the easiest restaurant to turn into when coming from downtown Lawrenceville but if worth the hassle of having to turn across heavy traffic. I've been here a couple of times and have enjoyed the food. Sometimes they have a special of grilled chicken with gravy over polenta and a salad, which is very good. I really enjoyed the chevapi, which are little sausages. The chicken doner was good and very filling. I've also had the pljeskavica, which was huge and also good. It's a beef patty made of chevapi meat. Their desserts aren't bad, either. They have good service and friendly people working. read more

The people who work here are charismatic and hard working. The food is excellent. I have been coming here twice a month . The price is Donner and fries for 7.43ish you're are getting a great deal.
