Extremely unhappy with 'service', been 6 weeks since they (Elijah I believe) first came out, needed to order parts. 'dang. OK stuff happens.' Came out the second time, "Uh oh... guess what? Wrong parts I'll order them ASAP" That was 18 days ago. Tried calling and left voicemails, always getting a 'BS' we will get back to you in 24 hours text. Finally got ahold of their 'team' today and they said 'oh we will order the parts now and come on out'. It had been 18 days since I last heard 'we will order the right parts', I've left voicemails during that time, and you are just ordering the part now !!?? 18 days after telling me you ordered them?!?!? DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! They are rude, unaccountable, and dishonest. Wish I had looked at their 1 star reviews before hiring them, lots of nightmare stories! We had a tech come to fix our washer at 9:30am. When he got here, he said he could not do the job until our washer was accessible and we needed to pull it out from the wall. My husband was sleeping (after working until 4am) so I offered to go get him to pull the washer out to where he needed it. The tech said he was going to run around the corner to do a quick diagnostic and would be back in 15-20 minutes and hopefully we'd have the washer accessible. I woke up my husband, who came down to unhook the washer and pull it out, but we weren't sure how far forward he wanted us to pull it or if they wanted it fully out of the storage area (in which case he'd still have to put it back to hook it up and test it), so my husband waited for the tech to come back, delaying going to work. Well, the tech never came back. I reached out to the company at 11:30 and again at 1 and instead of any sort of apology the company told me (over text, they would not call me back,) that it was my fault because the washer was not accessible. I sent him a picture of our unobstructed washer with tons of empty floor space in front of it and asked him repeatedly what was not accessible and did not get a clear answer, he just said we had to move the washer forward. In hindsight, I should've pushed back from the beginning, it's not reasonable to assume customers have the strength to move their large appliances like that. I was incredibly disheartened by how rude both the tech and the person I dealt with over text were. I think it's reasonable to assume someone's washer would be pushed back against a wall and unreasonable to expect little old ladies to move it for them (and this was a big muscular guy!) Now we have to start our entire warranty claim over setting us back over a month. read more

My experience was great. Vincent, the tech, was great, diagnosed the problem and knew how to fix it right away. (It's not his fault the LG Washer/Dryer combo has a little motor that keeps breaking.) But he was fast and efficient and pleasant to work with. Vincent is an excellent worker. He knows his stuff. Careful buying Electrolux Tower or using Advance Appliance! 11/13/2024 - Called Electrolux with Laundry tower issue - "Technician" identified problem said part would be ordered 12/4/2024 - After weeks, we called to say we'd heard nothing. Later that day we received an email from Advance saying part was ordered Over the next weeks, we called numerous times due to excessive time passing. Told part would be delivered to us at our house. 12/27/2024 - Advance finally called to schedule repair saying the part had arrived. 12/31/2024 - Tech arrived 9:06 to fix tower, asked ME where is part. He called his office and was told the part had been delivered to HIS residence. He left. - An hour later he returned with the part, Installed it, and said he's finished. I checked the install and found the dryer duct completely disconnected and hanging. - More than an hour later, after having taken apart most of the dryer portion of the tower to attach the dryer duct despite my telling him I did the original installation and I DID NOT NEED TO REMOVE ANYTHING, he said he's done. I touched it, it seemed secure, so I tipped and thanked him and he left. - I returned at the end of the day to clean up after him. I moved the machine to clean (he'd spilled water all over the floor) upon moving the machine I found the duct loose and falling off. There was also a screw on the floor of the room... - I got my tools and in 15 minutes I properly connected the elbow and flex duct to the machine without taking anything apart. HOW DO I TRUST WHAT THIS TECH DID IF HE COULDN'T CONNECT A DRYER DUCT? I've gotten a dozen letters, and at least that many emails from Electrolux to buy an extended warranty for half what the machine is worth. My advice to them is they should be as conscientious with their client service, repair network, and brand image as they are in chasing extended warrant dollars. read more

They can't keep their tickets straight or remember who they've serviced and when. After an initial consultation, we contacted the maker of our microwave (based on the direction of the technician) to inquire about a replacement part within the company's 10-year warranty. The company agreed and outsourced the service to Advance Solutions. Not only did they wait a week before contacting us, they then tried to charge us for the parts they were getting for free from the maker of the microwave. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the issue, and even offered great advice as to how to go about getting the part needed covered by the manufacturer. He fixed it quickly and was so helpful. Three months, two Advanced Solutions tech visits, an electrician visit and SIX calls with Lowe's Protection Plus, $200 out of our own pocket and the $279 cost of the "Protection" Plan and we are still sitting with a broken Bosch dishwasher. The cost of the dishwasher was less than what we are now out of pocket. And it's still not repaired. Told by the tech from Advance Solutions (Lowe's regional repair source) it was an electrical problem. We replaced the box at our cost on his say so. Still same problem. He was a no show/no contact on Jan 17, returned Feb 1, on his way out the door saying the parts would be ordered and he'd be back the following week. Now it's a month later and since then... on various calls with Lowe's we've been informed that the parts - a motor, a drive motor and a drain pump- -tech said parts HAD been ordered, - Lowe's said HAD NOT been ordered, -order ticket was CANCELLED BY THE TECH because the problem was resolved?!? Why are you ordering/not ordering a new motor and drain pump - Advanced Solutions said new order was placed, parts are backordered - Lowe's has no notes exist showing new order or any previous or subsequent conversations existing between Advanced Solutions and Lowe's. This level of Customer NO Service is unacceptable at any price. Don't waste your time with an Advanced Solutions tech. They will tell you - and Lowe's-anything to get out the door and generate another service call. Next time we will buy from a reputable dealer who makes a commitment to quality and stands behind it. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I wish I had written this review sooner to remember all the ways that this company is horrible. We did not choose this company. Our Viking range had a part malfunction and Viking arranged for this company to come and replace the part. I would never ever use this company again and would have cancelled the service had I arranged it myself. First off, the woman on the phone is the rudest person we have ever dealt with in customer service. Every time we called to check on the part that had been ordered and the status of the schedule for the repair, we were met with rudeness and told to just sit and wait. Now this was right before Thanksgiving and we had been waiting a month and were getting worried we would not have a stove to cook Thanksgiving dinner for our family that we had not seen in two years. She said all we could do was wait and she would call us when the part arrived. I asked if there was a way to track it and she said no. In what world can you not track a delivery? I called Viking on a Monday and they said the part had been delivered on the previous Friday (oh, because they could track it??) I had not heard from Advance Solutions so I called again. She said I could not believe Viking, and also yes, the part did arrive. Ok, so why had you not called me? Service person comes and replaces part. However, only one small person comes to fix a giant heavy Viking range. The same person who came the first time and needed my husband's help to move the range out, but my husband was not home this time so he couldn't move it. Literally sat on the floor and pushed it in with his feet. I was afraid he was going to dent it! He left, but only after he left did we notice it was not put back properly--not level, not flush against the wall. Multiple calls to the company over the last couple months have gone unanswered. Finally the rude lady answered today and was told we signed off and if we still have a problem to email them with pictures, maybe someone could come. I have never written a review before. Advance Solutions sent a tech to fix my Viking cooktop which would not stop making a ticking igniter sound the whole time a burner was on. They charged $125 just to show up. The tech told me I needed several expensive new parts and that I would receive an estimate and a follow up appointment to have them installed. That was 3 months ago and I have heard absolutely nothing from them. The kicker is that I went online and found out that the problem could be fixed by cleaning the igniter head with alcohol and a Q-tip. I fixed the problem myself in about 5 minutes. I could easily have believed what the tech told me and paid hundreds in Viking parts and labor. When I called and asked for my $125 back, I was told it was "not possible"! Advance Solutions of New York is amazing. They responded and fixed my broken washing machine within 24 hours of my initial call. What I thought was a huge problem, they were able to fix in 20 minutes. Vincent knew exactly what the problem was, what parts were needed, and how to fix it. It was clear that he was an expert. I will always use Advance Solutions for my appliance repairs. For those interested...THE PROBLEM I (unintentionally) broke my washing machine after washing a pillow in it. (Pillow ripped - stuffing got stuck all over machine) This happened to me 8 years ago when someone put a string mop in my washer. The technician that came out then said my machine couldn't be fixed and I had to get a new one. I wasn't thrilled. Naturally, I expected similar response this time. But nope. Tried to contact them to fix my Epson Stylus Pro 9900 on site. The only way they accept a repair request is online, but uploading the information only resulted in repeated requests for verification that I was not a robot. This verification kept expiring before my request was uploaded. After almost a dozen attempts to speak to a human The operator verified that there was a problem with their site accepting requests from Apple devices like my Mac Book Pro, but neither she nor anyone in the company knew why. The only solution she suggested was to try my online submission another way! - find a PC somewhere??? She was unable to take information over the phone. How could I possibly trust them with a $1000.- plus repair if they can not fix their own pretty basic problems and are so inflexible with finding a solution? In response to the response: Indeed they informed me that Mac users had problems - since I am a Mac user I was out of luck, and yes I got a quote elsewhere without any problems. I would have been happy to give all info over the phone and get a quote via e-mail, but even that was not possible. read more

I called the appliance manufacturer the next day to ask what happened to them and they told the mfg. that their technician's phone broke! really? did his dog eat his homework too? It took over 24 hours to schedule a service appointment. The technician who came to the house was very prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. But I never received an assessment of the issue or estimate to repair. I called the office and they were unhelpful ("we don't have estimates, ma'am"). I called the technician, and he said he had submitted his assessment to his supervisor immediately after leaving my house. The technician was at my house on Thursday at 9am. It is now Monday. $100 completely wasted. Even if they get back to me today, I would not want to give this unprofessional and poorly coordinated business any more of my money. This place SUCKS!! Took my printer to get repaired before Christmas and after all this wait I was quoted a repair price of a brand new printer! First, I was told a diagnostic was $40, when I got there it was $70. Second, they were closed through x-mas and new years so I didn't hear back until Jan 2nd just to tell me that I needed to send them ink in order for them to diagnose my printer. I sent them the ink and they got back to me quickly but quoted me twice the amount they quoted me before I brought it in to them. Then.... I called to let them know I was going to pick up my printer and I am told I can't pick it up because they are closing an hour early and my printer is in pieces! 2 days after I told them I wasn't going to have them repair my printer, it is still in pieces! They are bait and switchers. Do not bring your printer to get fixed here. I can always count on excellent, reasonably priced and professional service every time! My latest encounter was having them debug my laptop. I dropped it off yesterday - and they fixed it today! No problema! I have not retrieved it yet, but I know they made it good as new! They even do remote repairs on computers with your authorization! If you have record players, tv sets or anything like that, they will fix them! If you want honest, professional and no-nonsense service for a reasonable price, this mom and pop shop is for you!!! If you want to be hassled and have some big-time retail chain (cough) try to sell you an extended warranty before they talk to you, this place is not for you. I am sold on this place! Within a 3 wk period the tech hurt his back, did a no call no show, and one time even called to confirm an appt that i never scheduled. I feel like I am in the middle of a bad 80's sit-com. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They were to my house a month ago to fix my Dryer. They had to order a part. They can't tell me any estimate as to when it will be in. They can't ever tell me if it is back ordered or not. I asked to speak to a manager because the woman was yelling at me. Need my refrigerator from Best Buy repaired and they contracted this company to handle the repair. Today was the day scheduled and I did not receive not one phone call nor were my calls answered. Upon calling Best Buy Geek Squad for help, they informed me that they were told by someone that a repair technician came to my home on January 15th and realized they could not come make that type of repair. First of all, nothing was scheduled on January 15th nor did anyone call or show. I have read other reviews about crap and/or no service and I really hope Best Buy takes note and uses another company that will actually do their damn job and not tell bold face lies.....the balls on these people! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Lowes made a service appointment for my dryer through this company. I their time window is the whole damn day. When I called mid day the operator was rude and told me "you'll get a call 1/2 an hour before they arrive" she kept repeating this for every question I had and then just hung up. By 4 pm no one had shown up. I called back. This time the operator told me very rudely that they don't service my area. So no one was coming. I asked they why was I scheduled through their company if they saw all my info. She then proceeded to yell that it wasn't their fault it was who ever sent me to them. I never made the appointment, lowes did but this company never bothered reaching out to me in any form to let me know no one was coming to repair my dryer. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!!!! They came to my home in June 2020 to attempt to repair my dishwasher. They advised that it needed a new part and they would order it then return to complete the repair. After several weeks of out reach and being told that, first the part was on back order and then, that they couldn't connect with anyone Frigidaire, they asked me to contact Frigidaire to order the part. I thought it was odd that they put something like this back on the customer but nevertheless I called Frigidaire and had NO issue in connecting with them to order the part. The agreement with Advanced Solutions was that when the part arrived they would return to finish the repair. When I contacted them to complete this service call I was given the run around. I was told by Advanced Solutions to go back to Frigidaire and schedule a new service appointment because my ticket with them was closed out. When I contacted Frigidaire to do so I learned that Advanced Solutions is no longer a Frigidaire service center and I have to go with another company who cannot guarantee the repair is done under the warranty. This lack of communication and outright dishonesty is incredibly unprofessional. A simple call to explain that you are no longer a Frigidaire service center would have sufficed but instead you just sweep customers under the rug because it's "not your problem" anymore.
