Once the worker walked away, another customer recommended different wipers to me, which I ended up getting. Once I checked out, I asked if they could put the wipers on for me. The worker tried to put them on, but didn't seem to know what he was doing, so he had to ask another worker to come and help him. Once they got to the back wiper, they told me I had bought the incorrect type of wiper, so I needed to return them. So we go inside and the worker didn't know how to do a return either. I understand he may be new, but I would imagine training would include how to process a return. They ended up not having the rear wiper I needed and recommended I go to the Bolingbrook location or they could have it delivered to that store. At that point, I had been there for at least 20 minutes, so I decided to just go home. I just wish I had better assistance.

You don't want to go too cheap on your car if you use it everyday. I also bought the Duralast gold brake pads and rotors from here. Those will last you longer than the cheap ones. The service here is good. Everyone was friendly. They were able to remove and replace my car battery. I saw they can also test your battery and check your engine light.

I have bought many repair parts for my 1988 Toyota Tacoma from Sparo mobile…read moreMike Armbruster is very knowledgeable and helpful This company has been a very good foreign auto parts specialty store!

I was recently here for a radiator hose. The shop has this "service" they do where if they don't…read morehave the part in, someone leaves the shop and drives to their "warehouse" to pick it up. The older lady there charged my card just under $60 for the part (they didn't used to charge until the part comes in). No hello or smile. Just "Insert your card. Sign." Mike told me his dad was going to get the part and it could be 1 1/2 hours until he got back because of traffic.(?) I left and was by my car in the lot and made a quick call to O'Reillys down the street who had the same part for $31. Half the cost. (I had checked a different O'Reillys before coming to this place who didn't have it; another had it). I went back in and asked Mike if I could get a refund since I found a better price. He said sorry and that his dad already left. I didn't see any cars leave the lot and I was right outside. Even if he did, he would have been gone maybe 2-3 minutes. So no refund. (!) I ended up running an errand which took too long for me to come back to the shop before it closed; after thinking a bit I wasn't in such a hurry to go back either. The next day I called the shop to get a refund on my card. Mike was very friendly but as soon as I asked for my money back, he went ice cold. He said "oh I just figured when you didn't show up this morning you had gone to O'Reillys since they had it for 31 bucks and went and got your car fixed." I told him I hadn't and he said "So you're going back to Atlanta with a bad radiator hose huh?" implying I had gotten it fixed. Fixed or not, if I want to purchase the same item from a different store for less (half in this case), I get chewed out by the store that is trying to charge more? He made me hold for a few minutes and came back and said "number." I said "credit card number?" 5 second pause.. "Yup." I've talked to Mike before; seemed friendly enough but I didn't know him nearly enough to get a guilt trip from him.. Much less for an item marked up nearly 100%. Which was probably marked up based on him knowing I was leaving the state the next day, and used his dad (presumably to make it uncomfortable for me to return the item) along with their "courier" gimmick. The part was probably in the store the whole time. Even if there is a "warehouse", it is nearly an hour away and someone drives there for 1 part? No way. I've met the owners and they seem like they would promote using a gimmick like that if they could. I had this nearly happen once before with a blower motor which I found was marked up 100%. I was asked by the same lady for an explanation as to why I didn't pick it up. (!) Unfortunately, I have actually purchased a few things from here which I now regret. One of the owners once said they use lubromoly additives in all of their shop cars when I was buying a lubromoly gas additive once. Don't believe it. Much less the gimmick with the family member driving 1 1/2 hours just for you. (Ha!!) Horrible customer service, insanely high prices, and pricing gimmicks. How is this place even there? Bad consumer judgment I guess. I made the mistake of buying a few things here before. Never again.

Bruce Lee came here since I was in the area and I kind of wanted to grab some additives for my car…read moreto help it run better it wasn't anything exclusive it was more of a common additive. But they had it at a reasonable price. Overall this is a typical automotive store so it features a general variety of everything for you like to expect at a car store. It's very quiet and it's in a pretty busy strip mall. Staff here was also pretty friendly. Store was very well stocked well organized and clean, overall pretty average experience

The customer service at this location is atrocious…read more The initial associate that helped us was unfriendly and couldn't locate my pro account. I was quoted a price without my discount for my (personal) car battery. We decided to call a different (local) O'Reilly's and not only was that associate much friendly but he was also able to locate my account and quote me the appropriate (discounted) price. Since my battery had just died (in the parking lot) I went back into this location to purchase the battery (with my pro discount). I asked the associate to install the new battery (since my car battery unexpectedly died I didn't have the necessary tools for installation), he stated he couldn't do it because he was had been waiting to go to lunch. He said I could ask the other associate, Jeff, to see if he wanted to do it. So I waited for Jeff (an even more unpleasant associate) to get off the phone and then I again asked if I could get my new battery installed. He just said outright said no. No explanation, no reasoning. When I told him I've never had issues getting my (personal) new car battery installed by O'Reilly's associates before he then stated "we don't install new car batteries for pro accounts...since you already get a discount". While this was occurring the first associate was still at the computer answering phone calls and checking out other customers. At this point, I'm frustrated and irritated with the entire situation so I decided to return the new battery. There was absolutely no way I was going to give my business to this location. I jumped my car (thank god for portable car jumpers) and drove to the O'Reilly's on Boughton. Although the Boughton couldn't install the new car battery the associate provided an explanation as to why that location (franchise) they couldn't AND a solution. The stark contrast between these two experiences made it clear that I will not be recommending the O'Reilly's on 75th nor will I be providing any future business to this location.
