What great service! We came here to get my daughter's wiper blades changed and we were treated like royalty. We purchased the Rain-X brand which are exceptional quality and leave a clear streak free windshield. They last a long time and are worth the extra few dollars! The service rep popped them on lickety split and refilled our fluids. We've also been here for batteries and other auto supplies. Bountiful selection but employees are the epitome of LAZY, especially the older gentleman. Did very little to assist with my battery. Didn't know how to use the jumper box, and merely repeated back to me exactly what I told him was my issue. Just because you work in a car store, doesn't mean you're knowledgeable of cars. This guy really told me I wouldn't be able to get a jump to start my car because my starter was bad. Only for a friend of mine to come jump my vehicle. If you want real help find a snack shop or go to Auto Zone where they at least pretend to care. read more

I've been coming to this specific store for years and have to say that over all, it's been great. There are employees that come and go and every once in a while there will be someone I don't like. We just had great service here from Mr. jorge. My mom was in need of a new car battery for her 2013 Nissan, and when we walked into Advanced Auto Parts, we were pleasantly greeted by Jorge, he was very polite and was quickly and accurately able to reccomend and find a new battery. That was just the beginning. Jorge promptly got his tools together and proceeded to have us pull the car storefront and installed the battery easy peasy. My daughter bought a battery at aprx $150.00 the last day of July 2020. That battery died in Feb 2021. It supposedly has a 2 yr warranty. I took the car with receipt to get the battery replaced. I was asked if I wanted it covered by warranty (as if that was a question). Yes I want the battery you sold me 7 months ago to work, and for you to stand behind your products (the basics of retail service...) They said they would have to do some things to prove it was the battery, like charge it for 30 mins and run tests. So a little later another guy came out with a meter then asked about 10 questions about how we may be doing something wrong (e.g. do you leave your car sitting, do you charge your phones inside with charge chords, again yeah.). I should asked do you leave old batteries sitting on your shelf that you sell to your customers then hide behind a crap warranty? He then has us run the engine, checked a meter, then said a couple mins later that it was our "Starter", not his problem. I would like to know when my daughter brings you a car and says its the battery that you sell her a battery w/o question (potentially leaving her stranded on the road), but when it comes to the Diehard Silver battery replacement a few months later, its worth a test. We took the car to our mechanic, the guy has over 30 yrs experience. We told him it sounds like we have a starter problem. He put on the lift. He ran a full electrical check. We paid him $105.00 to run these diagnostics. He said its not your starter, its great. It is your battery! We paid our mechanic to install a battery (not a Diehard, and not from Advance Auto). I don't buy Diehard, because I had a problem with them in the 90's similar story abut them not supporting their warranty (my daughter didn't know about). I have been a loyal Advance Auto customer for years. Very disappointed. Maybe its this Parham Road store. I usually go to Horsepen rd. I will not be returning to Parham AA. So I have now spent around $400 for a car battery. Save your money, and use trustworthy providers, and don't let Diehards go in your auto. read more

I stopped by this location to get my battery checked, there was a girl who helped me. Shed was super knowledgeable about cats and products. She helped me out by getting her boss to help me allow her to run their computer on my car and determine if the battery is good. (Evidently if you didn't buy your battery there they don't usually use that computer meter to run a test on your car battery. She charged my battery up and then was able to run the meter to determine if it was battery or alternator. Long story short.. I enjoyed thed girl power and was happy wigh thed great customer service I reveived when I left. read more

All I can say is that I ordered a battery for my car online and went there to pick up and one of the workers installed my new battery...or at least I thought he did ....The next day I received a call saying I'm so sorry but your new battery was not installed in your car the guy who did it installed my old battery that he just taken out !! So he took out my old battery and put it back in ! Unbelievable how can that even happen !?? I went by and they finally installed my new battery but was not given any compensation and was told I could call the manager I'm not wasting anymore time with this company, me and my baby could have been stranded on the side of the road when I went out of town Saturday thinking I had a new battery ! They sold me a defected car part. I didn`t even know they sell used parts that are supposed to be renewed.. well.. this one was a bad one. That caused me to be unable to start my car the next day after it was installed, I lost a day of work because of that, lot of stress and having to be towed to a repair shop and paying a lot of money to install another car part. After I asked to be reimbursed other, than returning the part and get my money back, they initially refused to help, then paid me off with $50 despite that I had to pay over $400, due to their negligence. read more
