It was a quick and easy visit. I was purchasing a car and looking to use a diagnostic machine to get codes if they exist. This is a free service from AutoZone, I gotta admit, it's pretty handy. You walk in and ask for the diagnostic module, your put it in your car and let it generate. You take it in to the AutoZone tech and he gives you a printout of anything wrong with the car. What a great way to be an informed consumer. There was nothing more to my visit that checking codes, and fortunately for me, the codes were bad and I knew about them and didn't buy the car. The gentlemen in the store had great attitudes and explained any questions I had with ease. It was a good experience. read more

Whether to autozone today around d 1540 to have my alternator checked on 2003 frord expeditions as i put in new battery and still having trouble starting. When i arrived and turned off car. I restarted to see if it would turn back to test. Car would not start click anything. Went in to get jump. Personnel friendly and did it on spot. Worker. Sorry did not get his name saw an issue with connections. He spent 20 minutes fixing issue and did not charge a dime. Kudos read more

Called to check availability and price for a replacement water pump. Dave days out of stock bu have transferred to our store this evening. Picked up next day. Mechanic arrives and discovers is wrong pump after he removed old pump. When I returned to the store, down hill from there..... Dave The manager says "Sir the car is 25 years old and you should have taken off the old pump to bring it in to match it up and make sure we giving you the correct pump"! Wow..... a true example of Customer Service at it's very best. All I can say is .... Thank you O'Reilly Parts for taking good care of me. You now have a new loyal customer!!!! read more

Great experience. Very helpful. I was unsure if they problem was my battery or alternator. I saw the free testing advertised. I wish I remembered the clerk's name. He was great. He checked the battery first. Yep. Bad battery. He fixed me up with a new battery minus veteran's discount. Then he grabbed his tools and installed it for me. The whole process took less than 20 minutes. Awesome! read more

Guys! The service here is so great!! Scottt really took a stressful situation and turned my day completely around! He was so honest, professional and knowledgeable. I am now a loyal autozone customer. I will be coming here for all my auto needs! If anyone is having car troubles, you need to come to this location! They are so great and so helpful! They don't charge you 200 to just come look at your car like the other auto shops do. In fact they do battery checks for free! They even lend you tools if you need any for your diy self projects! Honestly if I knew earlier I could have saved myself the 600 I just spent at another auto store. I had my oil changed somewhere else and was told I needed a new air filter and cabin filter for a total of $80. I went to Auto Zone and bought them both for about $30. After I installed them, I got the "service required" and "skid" lights on my dash. I went back to Auto Zone and one of the nice men there looked under the hood and discovered a hose loose from the air filter. Problem solved in less that 5 minutes! Great service and a great way to save money! read more

Came by here on a rainy night to get a new battery. My husband and I took our dog along and the two gentlemen working let us bring him in from the rain! As one of them replaced my battery, the other was chatting with me and we eventually exchanged stories about each others dogs! The two guys were very kind and professional. I am NOT a shade tree mechanic, but when my headlight bulb went out, I decided I would not only try to replace it myself, I was determined to FIND the correct bulb by myself. Well, after walking in the door and heading to a random aisle, it was clear I was out of my element. I turned around and the two guys behind the counter were ear to ear grins and extended their arms as if to say "welcome, first timer!" They had me laughing immediately, had my bulb in about ten seconds, and really made it a pleasant experience. Sometimes a woman can encounter a very condescending attitude when going in to a parts house she's unfamiliar with, but these guys made me want to find something else to fix on my truck. Very proud to have a business like this in my home town. Highly recommended! read more

Understaffed and not very knowledgeable... that sums it up. Every time I come to this particular location, I end up waiting in a long line and not getting any parts that they "ordered" from the HUB store. This last experience was from my last and final visit: The guy behind the counter couldn't find a simple sensor in the catalog until I finally took over the keyboard and found out he was incorrectly spelling it "senser". They listed it in stock but he came back and said it wasn't. Having already been there for 40 minutes with Employee Spell-Check, I asked if I could check the back and of course, I found it (keep in mind, I've never been employed by an Autozone...ever). Then when I asked if he could order a water-pump from the HUB store, he basically didn't know how to. By that point I had run out of patience so I left. While I believe in giving many chances, I've given this Autozone THREE separate chances throughout this year. Sorry 'Zone, I'll go to the Plano location instead. read more

Wow, went there last night, the African American gentleman working was the most unfriendly and unhappy person I've encountered in any retail store in a long time, he definitely needs a refresher course on how to treat customers who pay the bills. Autozone will not be my first choice for parts until they fix their poor customer service and rude employees. The guy seemed extremely annoyed that I came there to get a few parts. Just fyi, you're a auto parts store so when someone comes thru your doors they most likely need a part or 2. I certainly didn't come there for your attitude or to be treated like I just ruined your evening. I understand everyone has their own problems if you're that unhappy working somewhere then go find a job or career that you enjoy. Don't drag the customer into your issues whatever they may be. I was having issues with my car at 1030 am this morning, I drove it to AutoZone in the colony. I explained to the manager that I had been having trouble with starting my car, I drove it to AutoZone and it would not start again. The manager cleaned the terminals and checked my battery, still would not start. The manager checked the starter found it was under warranty and then TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND when he said he was going to install it for me! It took him 20 minutes, but I could see he was sweating profusely, but he explained that he could not leave me stranded in good conscious. I AM NOW A LOYAL AUTOZONE CUSTOMER! I plan to inform everyone I come into contact with of my wonderful experience with AutoZone! read more
