Thoroughly appreciated the customer service at Advanced Auto Parts. Needed wiper blades and needed them bad. The woman behind the counter told me about her best deals and asked me exactly what I wanted in my wiper blades. When I chose winter blades, she reminded me that I was going to have to change them come summer time. Now, truth be told, I don't HAVE to change them, but the winter blades are just not necessary when there isn't snow. You are supposed to change blades every 9-12 months anyways, so in my opinion, might as well keep them on year round. I ended up going with TRICO Onyx year round blades for $45. I don't know much about cars, car parts, anything really so I always hope I don't get screwed when I come into stores like these. It didn't seem like they were trying to do that. They even came out to my car and put the blades on for me when I asked. However, apparently they aren't able to put windshield wiper fluid in the car for you. While I was there, my locks froze and I couldn't get into my car because my key wouldn't turn and I didn't have my keyless entry. It was a total nightmare, and 0 degrees outside. Coldest night of the year so far. The workers here were very helpful in assisting me in trying to get into my car. Turns out AAA had to be called because none of us could get in but I appreciated the help!! read more

My first experience with this auto parts chain was a home run. After ordering what i needed online & choosing store pickup, i was met with a smile by the staff before i was two steps inside the door. My items were waiting for me by the register (all correct) and the new wiper blades were immediately installed for me. Good deals can be had here with a little research before heading there. I usually will purchase stuff online with a coupon and set it up for store pick up. Its an easy 20% off and no time wasted looking around the store. This location also has a good selection on sale items in store, so its worth a look when you make it there to pick up your online order. read more

This place is always helpful. Typically they're pretty busy, so I get help once I'm at the desk which usually consisted of ordering a part I needed with no trouble. Another time a guy on the floor helped me get the correct tire patch kit for my snow blower. But tonight Brittany was so helpful I had to give her props on the Yelp page. My hubby and I walked in at a nearly dead time to pick up some replacement windshield wipers for my Buick Encore. Since it has an attachment for the wipers, we needed to stick with Trico since they fit the criteria. We hadn't even started to enter the lookup information when the girl at the counter called over to us that she could look it up faster from her station. So I called out the make and model as we walked over and she pulled up the specs. She gave us our choices, asked our price range, and we told her which one we wanted. She then rounded the counter and went to grab them off the shelf we had just been at. When Brittany came back, she asked if we needed help installing them (we didn't) and if we had the member card, which apparently my husband had signed up for, and told us we saved $5 today. We were out of there in no time! She was awesome and didn't act like going out of her way for us was anything less than ordinary. That's very typical for this store, they always act like this, but the fact that she initiated it and took action was outstanding when she could have just stood and waited at the counter for us to figure it out ourselves.
