Car broke down on highway. We knew it was the battery or alternator. We asked if we could buy a battery to try it and return it if it ended up just being the alternator. Employee said yes as long as it's not a mess. We drove the one mile back and it ended up being the alternator. Was told they wouldn't return the battery. Manager said the employee was new and it wasn't her problem "that's not on me." Apparently being a manager means nothing. Correcting your employees mistakes is on the manager. Was told by the employee she has let other customers do it in the past so apparently she just decided we weren't worthy. She was just unprofessional even an apology from her would've gone a long way vs "that's not on me." read more

I needed a cabin filter that wasn't outrageously priced. Advance Auto was my third stop searching for my filter, The youngman that helped me was very professional and polite. He found my folder on his second attempt. I WAS Exstatic!! top it off it was half the cost of the other two stores. I will now order these filters in advance online so I have them on hand. I DO recommend changing your cabin filters in your cars. The difference is like night and day read more

I was giving a ride to a stranger who's car broke down on the side of the road. Brought the stranger to this store; he goes in, comes out, and the manager then follows him and says you forgot your old break pads. The stranger I gave a ride to says, "you can throw them away, thanks." The manager replies, "I'm not a dumpster and then THROWS the brake pads at my truck. Mind you, I was just trying to be nice and help this stranger out. Why throw metal brake pads at my truck? I don't drive Uber or Lyft but in these times it's moronic to throw something at a car because you were mad at the passenger. This is a trashy store with trashy management. Pick you who do business with, and do not pick this store, because they are not positive influences within our community. read more

On top of the already ridiculous prices above all other stores, they didn't let me return a simple item. I opened(and resealed) but never used a small package of license plate screws and wasn't able to return them because they "wouldn't be able to resell them." I've never come across this problem at any other store. On principle I won't be returning. read more

Incredibly rude and aggressive store manager who would have happily sent me off to get stranded because he wanted me to get out of his hair basically. I stopped today at this Advance Auto Parts location to inquire about car key copies. The associate there did assist me quickly after realizing I was waiting at the desk. When I asked about car keys, she interrupted me to say they don't make car keys. When I turned to leave, she asked to see my car key, and promptly told me I needed to go to a car dealership for "special programming." I thanked her, commented that ACE Hardware can do chip key copies, and then she said if I didn't have the key made correctly, "it makes the car mad. If car gets mad, car won't start." She said this in an intentionally slow, extremely condescending tone as if I were a toddler or incredibly stupid person, using simple words as if I couldn't possibly comprehend adult vocabulary. It was painfully inappropriate and very rude. This staff person is probably around 20 or so years old, female, with long blonde hair, multiple piercings. The appearance doesn't matter so much as the ability to spot the employee and avoid her if possible. I am surprised any business would knowingly put someone like her in direct contact with customers. I am not an auto expert, but I'm also not a moron who can't understand basic auto advice. read more

Had an amazing customer service experience today with Jerry! I recently replaced the windshield wipers on my car and one of them just wasn't functioning properly. Unfortunately, before I could get back to this store it began to rain so I HAD to stop and replace them. I finally got to the store today to talk about it, and even though I had lost my receipt Jerry was able to identify the day that I purchased them, and refund me the money for the faulty wiper! read more

Went there yesterday 10/11/2017- My wipers stopped working during the rain. Walked in two staff people conversing, ( a guy and a gal) then they left sales area. Waited for the next man who was waiting on someone else to assist me. Immediately he said, I am no expert, the other guy is. I asked for a fuse for the wipers. Not knowing which fuse, and hoping for help, which didn't happen. I googled it. Found the fuse needed. Finally the "in charge" "know everything guy" per the salesman waiting on me, came up. Showed him the photo that I googled and he sold me a pack of fuses. The car is old, they offered no assistance whatsoever, only took my money. Just a poor experience .. read more

I came into Advanced Auto Parts when my check engine light came on. I ask man at counter if he could hook his meter to my car to see what was wrong. He asked where I was going to get it fixed? I said depends what's wrong with it. He told me he could read it for me and give me the numbers but I have to take it somewhere to get fixed. I was confused? He told me I can't fix problem myself. I need to take It to repairman? It was very obvious to me he was trying to take advantage of a women. I left went down the road to O Reily's gentlman at counter ask how he could help. Told him check engine light was on, he broght his meter out, read my car. Showed emission leak looked at my gas cap tightened it up. Off I went. Very helpfull and did not give me a hassle. This is 2017 women know a little more then the 1800's. If you are a women and need help with your car stay away from Advance Auto they will take you for a not so good ride.
