This is how every business needs to be run. Very professional and courteous. They were very accommodating, and met with at me at 7:00 pm on the same day I reached out to them, even though it meant they would hit rush hour traffic on the 10 fwy. When Joe E. came over to perform the initial inspection he introduced himself with a smile and a firm handshake. Before long it felt like I was talking to a friend I've known for years. He provided me a quote and assured me it would be the lowest quote I would get. And it was, and it wasn't even close. They were the lowest quote I got by far. They were professional, on time, and Clean. I was concerned about debris and dust getting all over the house when they were working in my attic, but they sealed off their workspace from the attic access to the front door. We set an appointment to install insulation in our home. The appointment went well and decided to go with Advanced Attic Solutions. He assured us that he guaranteed his work however, his workers installed the insulation but destroyed our electrical outlets and air conditioning unit. We called them back for the air conditioner and they said it was the unit was old. We informed them it was not old and upon insisting that they fix it they tried several things until it worked. after they left again our electrical outlets did not work. they said that they would not come back because it was not their fault. Our electrical outlets worked perfectly fine until that day. My recommendation for this company' is that they should not be trusted in anyone's home. This company will make you believe that they are giving you guarantees that they will never comply with. they came out and made me believe that they removed all of the insulation when they only removed part of the insulation and old feces and old insulation has been found by another company proving that they didn't remove all of the insulation and yet they are refusing to work with me either to complete the job the way they promised or to give me part of my money back. I wouldn't trust this company with another dime of my money as they completely ripped me off for almost $4,000. A complaint has been filed with the better business bureau and I would highly suggest never to use this company find someone else who will actually do the job right and not try and pull the insulation over your eyes if you will. **It took writing a review to the BBB and months and months of fighting before the owner, Alex, even had the common courtesy to contact me. I was never contacted by anyone other than the original representative for MONTHS of fighting with credit card company and now BBB. They really only fixed the problem so the bad reviews would go away. Don't get me wrong, I am glad they finally came and fixed the problem and when they were all three of the guys that were here admitted that it was a really bad job that was done and they spent 9.5 hours getting the old insulation up that the new insulation was placed on top of and some of the new insulation had rat or mouse droppings on top of it and the rep tried to tell me it was probably old...it is stuff like this that annoys me with this company. Logically speaking, if it was old droppings wouldn't it be underneath the new insulation not on top?? If I wasn't a diligent consumer, I would have never known. In the end they did the job correct but I had to inspect after each section of flooring to make sure they did it right this time. Nobody should have to go through what I went through just to be told that in the end I was right (which I knew all along) but in the interim was told several times that I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about and even had to kick their rep out of my house for telling me I was being rude when all I was trying to do was resolve the issue. Such a professional business. I was very concerned about openings in my attic. Alex came out for an inspection and estimate of repairs to my attic. He arrived on time, had all of the appropriate gear to inspect the attic. He took photos to show me what was going on in the attic. He gave 2 suggestions to mitigate the attic problems. 26 years of dust, ash and critters needed to be cleaned out. I did have another inspection and estimate. AAS was the lower priced estimate for clean out, new insulation, and radiant barrier. The other Co. didn't even suggest or price a radiant barrier. AAS also offers spray foam insulation. Very few companies even have the equipment to offer this elevated form of insulation. With rising temps and energy costs, I went with the spray foam option. Alex and his team used sheeting and floor protection throughout the process. I am VERY happy with AAS, I highly recommend you have Alex out for an inspection and discussion of attic solutions. We've had an ongoing battle with attic rodents the past few years. Changed pest control people twice. We live near a big open back hill area and these rats/mice had ruined our attic insulation & ducting with urine and droppings. This was a huge decision to hire someone to remove the insulation, ducting, vacuum all the mess the rats had accumulated and disinfect, then fill all holes and ways for the rodents to continue getting in. We got estimates, talked to probably 5 companies in our quest for the right company to handle this. Yes, it's a pretty big expense (at least for us during this covid invasion) but, after talking with all the attic clean up companies...there was only one company that guaranteed a one day job turn around, remove and replace the ducting and hang it and that was Advanced Attic Solutions. Alex and his partner showed up on time for the estimate in masks...put on hazmat suits and aspirators and climbed into our attic for at least 20-25 minutes to inspect the job, took pictures (which we already knew the scope of the job) and presented us the estimate the same afternoon. These guys are pros. They showed up at exactly the time they said they'd be here with all the gear, insulation, huge vacuum, sheets of plastic to cordon off the attic access, covered the floor and donned hazmat suits and I think 5 or so guys got into our attic and went to work. I'm impressed with these guys. They were done with the job by 2pm or so...removed the insulation, ducting, vacuumed, disinfected, filled the remaining holes with foam cement and heavy duty wire screen, replace the ducting with hung new silver papered ducting and R-38 insulation. They offered the spray cellulose but our vaulted ceiling living room that plan wasn't the best solution. This is a tough job...these guys were the only ones guaranteeing the one day turnaround for the best price and materials. I highly recommend them. Even our regular pest control service after seeing the completed phots are impressed and wanted their number for referral. Honestly, This is not the first time I had to do my attic in this house but Advanced Attic Solutions was the best by far and went above and beyond the call of duty. They worked extra hard to fully remove 60 years of layered insulation, old roofing wood nails and old rodent droppings and damage, then fully rodent proofed the entire house inside and out which really is a difference maker to me as it essentially creates two layers of protection. 10 hours of removal with 5 guys and another day to insta all new insulation and duct work.
