This company was recommended to me a reputable mechanic who said he had sent 50 transmissions to…read morethis shop for work. They were able to rebuild my transmission for less than half the price of the dealership's quote for a new transmission, and the rebuild has a two year warranty. When an unforeseen problem came up on the day of pickup (which was no fault of their own), they helped with the additional repair and gave me a gatorade while I waited for them to finish the work well beyond their normal closing hours. They are very nice, honest people. I would highly recommend this company.

I tried and tried before I had to do this, but Denny's Transmission left me with no choice. I was…read morereferred by someone , who used Denny's in the past. Dropped my son's car off on March 19th. I was told that the shop was in the process of moving and wouldn't be able to start on the car until the following week. Completely understandable. After 2 weeks, I called for status. I was advised by his wife she would call me back, which she did. Another week goes by and I call and am told waiting on parts. Another week goes by and I call and am told either still waiting on parts or I'll call you back. At this point, I never receive any calls back. Spoke with the owner and was advised the car would be done by following week. Still nothing. Then was told the parts were delivered at the wrong shop. Now this was on April 16th. I expressed to the owner how we would be going out of town, etc. He assured me it would be ready by Wednesday April 18th. Still nothing. Went out of town and came back. Called on the 20th, no answer. Sent a text. No response. On Tuesday, April 21st, finally spoke to the owner who ensured me the car would be ready by today and as a courtesy, he will bring the car to me on Wednesday, April 21st. Well, that day came and gone. Tried calling to get an eta, no response. Sent text, no text. So today, still no car. This makes 5 weeks and to make it even worst, I saw they read my messages and never responded. Once I admitted to then I saw they were reading my messages, they must of figured out who to turn it off. I really didn't want to go this route. I really tried to work with them and give them the benefit of the doubt since we were referred to them. I tried being humble and not go to the shop, still nothing. So now, I'm left with no car, having to do a horrible review, and attach screen shots of the texts. Oh, to make things even worse, the person that referred me and was taking care of the bill, paid already since our work hours are different. I really tried to have patience, but this is unacceptable. I literally called AGAIN, finally answered and his response was, oh I didn't know it wasn't finished because I left the shop. Ok, so what's wrong with communication? Why would you leave the shop yesterday when you assured me YOU were dropping the car off. The last thing I want to do is hurt someone's business. Now I'm being told it will be dropped off no later than 730pm. My son's car was finally dropped off on April 25th around 8pm. Asked for the invoice, was advised it was emailed to my son's father and would email me a copy. Oh, also, he broke my son's driver's door handle and told me he ordered a new one. Here it is May 16th, still no invoice and no update on the door handle. Finally, I was scheduled to bring my son's car in on at 9am for a follow up to make sure there were no leaks and to get the door handle replaced. Well, unfortunately since he wanted us to drop the car off, I had to reschedule. We rescheduled for June 9th at 9am. Upon arriving, building doors were locked and no one is here. Calling, calling, calling and texting no answer. Finally, Shawn answers and I said what the fuck is going on. He said don't be cussing at me and hung up. Called back and no answer. I am beyond frustrated Finally called back and Shawn answered and I started talking in a normal voice trying to express my frustration no cursing and he told me he was done with me and he would deal with my husband only. So I gave the phone to my husband, which he told my husband that he would need to call his employee and see why no one is here. Well, he called back to tell my husband he couldn't get a hold of his employee and he would be here in 15 minutes. Finally, about 30 minutes later, he shows up. I remained in the car. My husband got out and spoke with him. He told my husband it will take 3 hours to check the car out and replace the door handle. My husband agreed and advised Shawn that he is taking his word. In addition, we asked about the invoice and his response was that my son's father has the invoice. He told my husband that it should be done by 3pm and he will follow up with him. In the meantime, I texted my son's father and confirm he never receive an invoice via email. So 3pm comes and my husband calls and speaks with Eva. Eva stated that the car is still being worked on and she would follow back with him. 5pm comes and my husband gets a call that the vehicle is ready. We go and pick up the vehicle. In addition, my husband asks for an invoice as well, which we finally got. While leaving, my son's father texts to say he finally received an invoice. Never ever again. If you choose to use Denny's Transmission, I hope your experience is way better than ours.

I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.

Everyone was friendly and honest, and I felt safe leaving my car their hands. The whole experience felt easy and stress-free. My car is running great now. Safe to say they revived it.
