I've been going here for years and love it. This is a larger practice but they have great hygienists and a great process. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get into my appointment and the cleanings are always quick and painless. I haven't had any surgical procedures just my regular cleanings and a cavity but have really enjoyed. The quality of care you get here is better than other dentists I had gone to which is why this is my forever dentist. Smaller dentists often don't have the technology or money to invest in new equipment and this place is very up to date! read more

This was first time visiting the Absolute dental. AND, I found really great dental team!!!!!!!! I was so impressed. Especially, Ms. Venice and Ms. Monique are the rockstars. I asked them so many questions and they responded kindly with details and patience. Ms. Venice ensured me that everything is okay when taking the X ray and during the treatment. Fairly terrible experience at Absolute Dental. Bottom line up front I lost my tooth because of a crown that was set wrong and the tooth got reinfected. They might get you in fast but the work on your teeth may or may not be done right and you might have billing issues several months later. I would highly recommend finding a different dentist if it at all possible. They were able to get me in fast, but the concerning part was there was a ton of open dentistry booths open when they take you into the back. After my tooth got reinfected due to not setting the crown on properly a provider at Absolute Dental to me to get my tooth removed by another dentist and to not trust anyone within the Absolute Dental network. Speaks to the trust they have amongst their own network... Afterwards, I was called by the regional director and was offered a refund because of the botched work. This was over 4 months ago and still no refund after several calls. My experience has been awful from the start with insurance billing issues (they are still "waiting to see if the insurance will pay them" after 5 months and nothing has moved along. Keep in mind the place that removed my tooth was able to charge both of my insurances right away. Absolute Dental tried to charge me more after I had paid, after I questioned, they said never mind. It has been a constant headache with this company. Save yourself some time go somewhere else!! read more

Unfortunately Dr. Steve Lazar has retired as of March 2023. Today was my first visit with the new staff and Dr. Truong. When I first walked in, I was disappointed to see that Lorena was no longer there. I had been a long term customer for many years and felt that everyone treated me like family. I did not get the same treatment nor warm fuzzy feeling I would get walking in. Now they even lock the door as you go into the back :( Pros: Dr. Truong was very sweet and caring. He listened to my few concerns and gave me great recommendations when I asked for new dental floss and toothbrush options. He also did my cleaning which made me feel that I was getting exclusive treatment :) The TV's are still available with new & engaging content. From trivia questions, to fun facts, to movie & news clips, it kept me wanting to keep watching! Cons: The Dental Hygienist. I believe her name is Simona. She wasn't very nice nor friendly. She was cold and felt a little standoffish, and made some rude comments in the end. When she took my X-ray photos she also walked away (after she said we were done) but left me with the big x-ray machine in front of my face and the heavy vest on (I had to remove them myself). As she was polishing my teeth, she asked if I grind my teeth (even though I had shared the night guard with them) and when I showed it to her again, she told me it was cheaply made and needed to get a lab one made (which I had done with Dr. Lazar less than a year ago, it took 7-10 days to arrive) so it felt like they were just trying to upsell me. When she was done, I had to ask whether we were done or not because she didn't say anything further and left me just standing there w/the night guard on my hand. It made me miss previous dental hygienist, Roxanne, who was the sweetest and made you feel like you were best friends. The entire experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm also disappointed that there was no type of communication in the change of ownership. You show up thinking you're going to see Dr. Lazar and the rest of the staff you loved only to find out everything has changed. On a final note, as I checked out I told them I wanted to cancel my next cleaning (in 6 months) but conveniently enough for them, the date is "grayed" out in their system and they couldn't cancel it. She advised me to call a month before the appointment. Sigh. read more

Went to this location for an examination. When I did the exam and X-rays they told me there's no charge. I get a bill in the mail months later for $84, which is my responsibility after my insurance paid them over $60. Meanwhile they advertise that you can have a full exam and X-rays for $39. So if my insurance paid over $60, why are they asking for $84 more when they charge other people $39 total? This type of business practice made me decide not to do any treatment with them because I can't trust their billing processes. read more

I broke a tooth out of the blue. This left me with a hole & a lot of sensitivity on it. Honestly my main concerned was to not get an infection. My friend recommended me this Dentistry and now I see why. They were able to accommodate me same day (honestly within minutes of me calling in!) Lorena was so nice at front desk . The hygienist I don't recall her name now but was also very kind & patience towards me. Now let's get to Dr. Lazar . He said I needed a root canal & a crown which couldn't be done right on the spot BUT he manage to reforme my tooth with filling & medicine so the discomfort would go away. So appreciated!! I went there with a bad pain, they got me right to the back, gave me relief right away, put a blanket on me, and let me calm down from the pain and anxiety. I consider myself the most down to earth individual. I don't get bothered by petty things and I realize people are human. Humans make mistakes, so as I sit here typing this review, I'm 100% sure I won't regret it. I had an appointment with my three children and arrived promptly. My mother also tagged along, because she was also looking for a new dentist. When I got to the front desk, I was greeted with a friendly smile. I absolutely love the staff that has taken care of me and the kids in the past. I let her know that I believed my middle child had a cavity. She proceeded to question what was done last time (6 months ago), because she could clearly see my daughter had cavities but didn't see a treatment plan. I had no idea my middle child had Any cavities whatsoever. So it was news to me, but not something to get upset over. She also let me know that it was an oversight and the Dentist would how we would proceed. Hey, no big deal right?? Well that's what I thought. All the children were put in chairs and their check ups/cleaning began. I was also seated with dental hygienist, who is awesome and an amazing individual. Ten minutes into my cleaning, the Dentist walks in and tells the hygienist that he needs to speak to me. With a horrible attitude, he proceeds to tell me that my middle child now has twice as many cavities compared to the last visit. He also tells me that she needed to see a specialist and if I refuse, then he will CALL CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES. He told me the treatment plans were explained to me and I didn't follow through! I ....was shocked that he would assume that I was a negligent parent. I don't think it really sunk in, because I found myself trying to excuse what happened and it wasn't even my fault. After I explained to him that it was an oversight and also stated that the secretary apologized, his whole demeanor changed and stated that it must have been a miscommunication. I am so angry and offended, that he didn't even take the time or energy to ask me what happened or if I was given a treatment plan for my child. He didn't bother to dig a little deeper and didn't bother asking the secretary about what happened. My children are my world and have seen a dentist every 6-8 months since before their first birthday. I pulled my three children from their dentist, just so they can come with me here. I even brought my fiancé and my mother, only to be shamed and spoken to with such disrespect. They will be losing 6 patients and I hope that in the future, he measures his words wisely. Instead of telling me it was a "miscommunication"??? An apology would have traveled miles with me. I would have forgiven and moved forward, but not like this. This establishment billed my insurance before I had the procedure done to my tooth. Then harassed me like a bill collector to pay the remaining balance. I called my insurance company and found out they were harassing me because they should have never billed my insurance until the work was completed. When I let them know this I was able to make payments toward the procedure and get done it done without them harassing me and they took money off. Needless to say I won't be back!!! read more

Let me start off by saying I generally hate the dentist. I had a lot of bad experiences with them in the past and when I was a kid and it made me very wary ever since. Everyone at Dr. Lazar's office was amazing. The receptionist Sarah makes you feel at right at home, she is amazing at figuring out insurance issues. The assistants Sunshine and Steven are great at answering questions. And Dr. Lazar himself is extremely nice, very professional, and with a fantastic "chairside" manner. He is very good a translating from dentist speak into English so you'll know what's going on. In short- Amazing staff. But my favorite thing about Advanced Dentistry- the stations! Every chair station has it's own flat screen TV (I'd say around 20") mounted on the same type of moveable mount as the light. So when you are laying down having work done the TV is still right in front of you. I watched Friends during my cleaning, and How I Met Your Mother when I got my fillings. This is such a great touch because it allows you to not only block out the noise, NO DRILLING (they use air abrasion!), but to have a visual focus as well. This place has gotten me over my fear of the dentist with their excellent service and welcoming environment. And as strange as it sounds, I look forward to my next appointment. read more

I just went to this dentist and it was an eye opening experience. Yes he is condescending and rude, but he is so entertaining. I was laughing at him on the inside, because, I did not want to rude (two rudes don't make it right). I've meet a lot of people in my life and I know they all don't have perfect teeth, I'm in that boat. After talking with Dentist Lazar; He told me that every dentist I had before him **cked my mouth up, and I didn't take care of my teeth. He is quite delusional; not about the teeth, but his sales pitch. He did the opposite for me. I felt relieved when I left his office--knowing the fact that I will never walk back into it again for dentistry. After about an hour of berating me, my previous dentist and the very fact that I walked into his office, I asked? Can you fix it, and here's the rub. He wants to redo all the horrible work that the other dentist have done. So, I suggested dentures. He said no if nothing hurts you don't need dentures. He wants to redo the path( fillings, crowns, and bridges) work done by other doctors. I smiled and walked out-best 39$ I've ever spent. We are not all ignorant, or poor. P.S.
