I hired Advanced Heating & Air to clean my dryer air ducts, because my dryer had a part that continued to burn out because of a clogged air duct. After the 3rd time the dryer part failed, the appliance technician stated the air ducts were still clogged and Advanced Heating & Air did not do a good job. I immediately contacted Advanced Heating & Air. Denise answered the phone and was friendly, courteous, and professional. She immediately put me in contact with the companies' owner/manager; impressive. The owner/manager Steve stated he guarantees his companies work and immediately scheduled an appointed the next day. Steve and Danny arrived the time promised and brought a camera to place into the dryer air duct...what a proficient way to guarantee their work; incredible. They not only rechecked their previous work for free, but they also checked a few other things on the dryer; wow! The conclusion, their previous work was successfully completed, and the appliance technician was incorrect. I am absolutely 110% satisfied with AHA. They went above and beyond my expectations. I called Advanced Heating & Airconditioning because my A/C was not working. I assumed the drainage was clogged and needed to be cleared which is a common problem with A/C units cutting off. I was able to have Danny and Mike come out the next business day to assess the problem. First let me same these guys are very professional and courteous. They investigated and quickly saw the problem. It was not a clogged pipe, it was an Installation problem. What I like about these two gentlemen is they were honest professionals. They could have fixed the issue and charged me, instead they gave me professional advice by telling me to call my builder or home warranty. I called my builder on the spot since my home is fairly new, what made this experience even smoother is that Danny offered to speak to the builder to clarify his findings, which in turn saved me quite a bit of money. These guys are incredible. Needed a unit replaced. Danny and Matt came out and did the install. They were professional, efficient & friendly. No pressuring for sales. Great experience. And then it gets even better. Decided since I had a new AC unit, I should probably install the Nest thermostat that I've been avoiding since the holidays. (I'm not all that handy around the house). Finally got the install done and...nothing. So I called Steve and figured I would leave a message requesting a call to schedule someone to come out and "undo" my mess. Steve answered. On a Saturday. Watch these folks. I understand a high markup for truck parts. You're paying them to have them on hand which always brings a premium upward of 200%. I wouldn't even balk at 500% for a non common part (which this was not). I was charged $229 for a part I can't find anywhere for more that $16 which puts this at a whopping 1400% markup. The technician was prompt, personal and fixed it within 30 min for a $368 bill. Maybe it is not abnormal for the industry but I felt just a little taken advantage of. read more
