I am simply amazed. I found this company through local reviews, and their reputation holds true. I had to reschedule with Nic (the owner) a couple of times due to our apartments changing things around on us. First kudos goes to flexibility. It was so nice not having to stress about this, because most places give you a hard time for rescheduling. Second kudos was the promptness, professionalism, and kindness - a combination not usually found all together. It was refreshing to say the least. I was completely at ease because he was just a down to earth, friendly businessman. Nic and I walked through the apartment, and he showed me the black light for pet stains throughout all the rooms. I was actually appalled at how soiled the carpets were - even in areas where our cats had no way to get to due to furniture, etc. This means our carpets were not properly cleaned before we moved in there. However, I feel good knowing that I had an excellent company to clean the carpets properly, leaving them in good shape for the next tenant. Third kudos was the speed in which the carpets were cleaned. Nic estimated an hour, and I believe it was more like 35 minutes. He gave me a pair of booties so that I could walk through the rooms, and the carpets looked absolutely amazing. It smelled nice and fresh throughout the apartment. He is very professional and energetic. He gave us a VERY competitive quote for the both properties. He arrived on time (I think for one property he actually arrived early) and got the job done QUICK, but was very thorough. The carpet at our old property had a worn walking path and Nick let us know that this was going to be a problematic area for him. He spent extra time and did the best that he could and I was very happy with the results. Nick and his wife did an excellent job cleaning the carpets. They got out most of stains that another cleaner didn't get out at all 3 years ago. We also have some areas that had some heavy animal wear and tear from an elderly cat and he cleaned the room excellent and even came back to do another treatment for the smells. Every time I called, Nick answered the phone. Never got a voice mail and he was always extremely responsive which is hard to find. He was up front and honest with his ETA and timeframe, and followed thru with his word about calling me when he was in his way. He is an very nice, personable, professional, honest, and friendly. His price was very fair and lower than the other companies that I researched. The carpets were very dirty and he pre-treated the whole carpet in every room and the stains disappeared like magic. Nick is amazing! Our bathroom backed up and flooded our entire hallway into the dining room. I was very overwhelmed with how to clean it and we immediately began calling numbers on Yelp. First two places gave us next day availability, but then we called river carpet care and nick said he was on his way be there in 15 minutes!!! I was shocked and relieved to find Someone who really put in the effort of there business. When he got here he took a look said no problem I can clean it back to perfect we just need to dry the existing water. He brought in a giant fan and lifted the carpet to dry completely . He left the fan with us for two days!!! This was a Tuesday and he scheduled with me to come back Thursday . Plenty of dry time plus perfect time For our work schedules. He came back Thursday around 3 pm. He helped us move all Of the furniture around to clean the entire room and not just the mess of the flood. And did I mention that he quoted us our price on Tuesday and it never changed even when he had a few additional entry's to other rooms to do for free! I always like pleasant surprises, like when I select the least expensive option I can find for having my carpets cleaned and the experience is positive from beginning to end. I received a quick return call for my initial message to River Carpet Care and was met with the voice of Nicolas, the owner. Thoroughly friendly, he explained that he could make a variety of appointment times with essentialyl no need to wait - I called Thursday and had him out the next morning. He checked in with a call Friday morning, to keep me abreast of his arrival plans and asked if I would like another call just before his heading to my place. I'm a fan of good communication, so all of this fit well for me. I had spent the morning moving things out of the two rooms he would clean, which I also vacuumed. He arrived and set up his obviously professional equipment, which stretched out from his van, and then he quickly set to work. He spent several minutes prior to using his truck mounted equipment to spray a variety of marks and stains, all of which he was able to remove. He was not able to repair the actual wear that the rug has sustained, which he was careful to point out in advance. For 48.00, "all included," (again, this covered two rooms and a hall, and he also reached into and cleaned a closet in one of the rooms, the other was stacked with stuff and not available for cleaning) and being able to skip out on hours of effort with something I might rent from Home Depot for a handful of dollars saved, I am extremely happy. The house that I had just purchased had pet odors, but I did not know it until after the house had closed. The previous owner had covered up the odors with the Glade plug in oil air freshener. After trying to get rid of the odors myself by renting the Rug Doctor, I called Nick to try and eliminate the problem. Nick was upfront about what he could and could not do. After the initial cleaning, the odor got worse because the cleaning had gotten to the stains that had sunk deep into the carpet. Nick did a follow up appointment free of charge and sprayed a deodorizer on the carpet. Even after he was not obligated to do so, Nick continued to call and follow up on the progress of the odors. One day the building I work in was getting its carpets cleaned and I asked Nick if he thought my carpet could be saved. He did a test spot and determined that it could. Two hours later my carpet was much cleaner and I was very happy with his service.
