I needed water and mold removed from under my house fast and contacted Resco based on their good 5 star reviews. Eric Garibay and if I remember correctly, Gideon came to my house a few days later and did an assessment, I got a quote right away and was pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness of the quote and the bottom line. Eric and Gideon returned a couple days later and got to work, Eric did all the under house work which is really difficult under ideal conditions, my crawl space is very tight so less than ideal, but Eric managed his way through it all and got the job done and did it all with a smile. This company was beyond my expectations from my first desperate call to completion. A team was out almost immediately after calling them bc I had a leak in my attic and needed to have an area dried out. Noah and Dakota came to my rescue, assessing the situation, putting up plastic curtains, setting up fans and a dehumidifier for several days. Another team Joel and Jordan came for a second small leak and promptly assessed and set up fans and plastic curtains. These teams made a very frustrating situation easily fixed. They are nice people and they did a good job, but they overcharge especially once they know you have insurance. Learn from my hard lesson-- you'll have to pay the difference because insurance doesn't cover the random extra charges they bill. I was initially quoted for around $3k and ended up with a $4k bill. If water damage happens to me again, I would call others first and ask Insurance company for a list of recommended companies. Hope this helps someone avoid my costly mistake! read more

Thankfully I saved Resco's number from a previous visit. I accidentally flooded the lower level of my house when a pipe broke. Resco came to my house in about 20 minutes and got to work. They made a very stressful situation much more manageable. The clean up and restoration of my house took about 3 weeks due to product availability. Whenever I called Resco they all knew the situation and status of the project, no matter who answered the phone. This such a well run, trustworthy business. They helped me navigate my insurance and also told me areas I could save costs on, when I thought insurance wouldn't cover certain parts of the restoration. This small, family owned company gives the type of personal service -- Above and Beyond--us old school folks expect, but now days, seems Rare to find! This fine company was referred to us by our Plumbing Company in Auburn, Ca. Luke, the owner came to our rescue on March 12th, 2024 regarding our upstairs bathroom leak that was over our finished garage ceiling. Luke's honesty in price and supervision of the drying time was much appreciated; unlike the experience we had in 2010 with a Major Name Known remediation company that just wanted to keep the fans going at $100 per day when the area had not been soaked and was dry in not time. I made them come get their equipment! Luke's excellent team of Michael and Nathan did the mold removal, scrub and drying process as well as the complete tear out of our bathroom. We decided the 32 year old fiber glass over the tub shower stall should be removed also. We signed off on the Certificate of Completion on 3/21/24 since the area was finally dry at that time. Michael and Nathan heard me about wanting to keep our solid wooden vanity, the deep Kohler sink (if possible) & the special ordered, chrome, old style faucet set made by Delta that are no longer offered. They also heard me about wanting to keep items out of our over-burdened land fills & about my love for our planet & the wildlife we are blessed to have here. These 2 young men worked very hard to deliver and they did!! They saved the vanity, & amazingly -- even saved our deep Kohler 32 year old porcelain over cast iron sink + of course, our delta chrome faucets. !!! Other Contractors who came to bid our project said the vanity could not be saved--and I knew they were wrong! Back in 2010 our down stairs bathroom single vanity was saved by the Contractor on that project by rebuilding the bottom of it. (That was a pin hole leak from a copper pipe behind the toilet.) Sometimes, in life the hits ($$$ wise) just keep coming and found us unable to pay attention to the Fact, it was past time to change out the wax ring on the toilet. After noting a small leak had done some damage behind our shower, I called Luke to assess the damage and get a better idea of what needed to be done. Within a day, he Identified all the impacted areas and set up dryers and air filters to limit any further risk. he then referred us to both an asbestos testing company and demolition company to remove all the impacted material in a safe and secure manner. Throughout the entire experience, he was extremely communicative and available for questions.
