He understands how people love their cars and want them to be perfect. He is a car enthusiast and will care for and respect yours whether it has a MSRP of $175,000 or $17,000! I've had a side skirt ordered and painted and most recently bumper redone after someone dinged me in a parking lot and left like a jerk. I was afraid I needed a new bumper but he was able to prime, sand and make it new with paint. Stephen is a wealth of knowledge about paint and will give you tips to fix your little dings and scratches too. This shop is among many like it, so it's a little difficult to find. That was one out of three options , that was the one I picked I ended up being told Manhasset Collision would be my shop. I looked up there references and saw pictures like I posted before and after and reference Instantly felt relieved Manhasset collision is a big, clean honestly run shop. When I got there it is different then other repair shops in that it is beautiful to visit there big clean office .As I waited on a beautiful black leather new sofa ( not a dirty auto shop) My manager whom I dealt with wasSteven. I brought three cars here and had nothing but problems with all of them. For one vehicle, they…read morereplaced a door but never installed the door check, so the door wouldn't stay open. At first they tried to tell us we'd have to buy the part ourselves and take it to the dealership, even though we already paid them thousands for the job. After going back multiple times, they finally admitted they knew the part was missing the whole time and said it was on back order until November. If they knew, why give the car back incomplete and deny it until we pushed them? Another shop was able to get the part in just one day, so clearly it wasn't impossible. The second car was supposed to have front-end damage repaired, but they gave it back with a dent still there and acted like they didn't notice. Then they told us we'd have to wait months for someone else to fix it. On top of that, we also had brake work done on an AMG package car -- we specifically told them upfront it had larger AMG rotors, they said they understood, quoted us, then later claimed they "didn't know" and acted like they made no money on the job. The whole time, the guy John was rude, made inappropriate comments, and behaved like he was doing us a favor by taking our money. Both cars were left incomplete, and the experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else -- we did, and the other shop fixed things right away.
