From start to finish, this shop exceeded my expectations in every way. First, the communication was excellent. Before any work began, they walked me through exactly what needed to be done, why it was necessary, and what it would cost -- no surprises, no upsells, just straight talk. It's rare to find a mechanic who takes the time to actually explain things clearly, and it made a huge difference in my confidence that I was in good hands. The pricing was completely fair and transparent. What I was quoted is what I paid, which sadly isn't always the case at auto shops. I felt respected as a customer, not taken advantage of. What really blew me away was how fast they worked. They finished my front brakes ahead of schedule, which meant I was back on the road sooner than expected -- a huge plus on a busy weekday morning. And the quality of the work speaks for itself; my brakes feel solid, responsive, and totally dialed in. Mark and his staff was friendly and welcoming the whole time, making what can be a stressful experience genuinely pleasant. This is the kind of shop that makes you feel like a valued customer rather than just another car to get through the door. I'll absolutely be back for future work and won't hesitate to send friends and family their way. If you're looking for a mechanic you can actually trust Mr Brake, look no further.

I don't often leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience…read more I visited this dealership after seeing a specific used vehicle listed on their website. The car was intended as a gift for my teenage daughter. I had already secured financing through my bank and spoke with a representative who advised that the vehicle was still being serviced and detailed. I was told I would receive a text once it was ready for purchase. I received that text today and arrived after work with all necessary paperwork, accompanied by my husband so one of us could drive the car home. Upon arrival, we were told the keys just needed to be retrieved so we could view the completed updates, including new tires, headlights, and a detailed interior. We were asked to wait in the lobby and grab a coffee. Shortly afterward, we were informed that another party was interested in the vehicle and that it would be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Although confused, we agreed to wait. After approximately 30 minutes, no one followed up with us, provided an update, or even acknowledged that we were still waiting. The representatives we had been speaking with were nowhere to be found. Ultimately, my husband and I left feeling dismissed and that our time had not been respected. This experience left a very poor impression, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Naturally, they discovered a few other issues and were eager to have them fixed at their shop as soon as possible. I reached out to Roadside Wrench, and Jonathan promptly arrived at my place the next day. Jonathan worked efficiently and completed the job in no time. Findlay Honda, however, attempted to charge me an exorbitant amount for this minor repair.

Called up and scheduled an appointment with Jon. Upon his arrival we just knew things were about to trend in the right direction. He has such an incredible personality, is patient and overall, has a down to earth demeanor that is a RARITY (and refreshing to see) in this city. After attempting to "kick" the starter and run diagnostics on the battery, it became evident that both needed to be replaced. The battery was only a few months old, but as is the case sometimes, there is a chance you might end up with a dud. Based on Jon's suggestion, we managed to get a replacement from the nearby auto parts store, and within a couple days, the starter replacement arrived, and Jon not only installed it but even helped change the oil in my mom's car as well and answer some of her questions and concerns. We will definitely continue to use, as well as recommend Jon to friends and family. Thanks Jon! BTW: The Rooster, with his leather jacket on, says hi. :D

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, and during this time was told that my head…read moregasket had blown. A known problem with older Subaru, so not a huge surprise, especially with high mileage in an older model. What was the surprise however with the link the itemized bill to replace the gasket. First red flag as soon as my car made it in the back of the shop I received a text message from a sales agent, asking if I was interested in selling my car. Anyone who knows anything about vehicle vehicles and knows that for a dealership to fix a blown head gasket is in their favor because the majority of the cost comes from labor. So if we jack the price up on a young unsuspecting woman in a PREDATORY manner then maybe we'll get lucky and shell sell us her car and we can put her in something with a monthly payment. Let's start with simple things first and the second red flag: the hourly labor rate was outrageous and through the roof for the work being done. Ended up getting it done for less than 50% of that cost. Third red flag was the amount of hours being charged for work. Initially it was presented as what a great deal. You only have to pay for the labor on the gasket and because we have to take the engine out the labor on everything else is included essentially so you're just paying for parts. However, at a deeper look, that was not how it had been priced out. Fourth red flag was that when I asked for part numbers for the work being suggested I was told, but that would take a long time and pushback. Low and behold, it only took five minutes.... Fifth and the funniest of them all when I questioned why the labor was so high on this, I was told that the service writer (Alex) could not provide any information on that and went to the shop foreman, thank you for all of your help Dylan! Just kidding instead Dylan proceeded to mansplain the process of replacing a head gasket on a Subaru to my mother who worked in a shop for over 15 years. The real kicker is the poor experience didn't just take place in the service department. When I initially brought my car in for work, I went to the service and parts desk to get a new lightbulb for my headlight. Upon requesting a new headlight, the gentleman asked how I knew I needed a new one? And if I knew that they could do it while they were working on my car... I look young, but I am anything far from dumb or incapable. Take your business to a local run shop and don't give them chumps any of your hard earned change.‼ ‼DISHONEST, PREDATORY, and CONDESCENDING‼ *sidenote - me needing a new gasket was never in question, the questionable quote was. Local guy did it for less than half UPDATE: The generic copy and paste response below to satisfy Yelp is pathetic, not even an extension but a general main line. I will be reporting you to the BBB now.
