I used to frequent their original location in Fountain Valley all of the time when they first opened during my college days. There was always a long line out the door, but I still went almost every other day because I was obsessed. I ate 2-3 scoops each visit and had eventually to take a break for awhile due to health reasons. Nonetheless, many years later, I am SO thrilled to find out that they opened a location in Fullerton! We came here yesterday with our group. We got to sample a few flavors and eventually each got a single scoop of their ice cream. The flavors here are very unique and have remained consistent over the years. Personal favorites are: + Cookie Monster - loaded with SO much cookies, but beware it will leave your tongue will a blue residue! + Milk & Cereal - simple yet delicious. It's not overly sweet and it really tastes like milk & cereal but in ice cream form! + Vietnamese Coffee - if you love Cafe Sua Da, this is the EXACT same but in ice cream. It's super rich. + Jasmine Milk Tea - JMT has been my goto milk tea to get at a lot of boba spots. Afters did an an amazing job replicating that in ice cream form. They will add extra corn flakes to your milk & cereal ice cream if you ask for it. I believe it's complementary. I have gotten their donut ice cream before, but I don't recommend it. The ice cream melts fast and the additional sugar takes away the taste of the ice cream. You're better off with getting several scoops in a cup or cone! Overall experience here is great. I'm glad they carry a lot of the same flavors I remembered and the staff gave very generous scoops of the ice cream. Such a great treat! read more

I was at this Fullerton location a few days ago. I was allowed to try a few samples which was nice of the employees. Cookie butter was the best flavor but I will come back to try more. I was assisted by a young man who I felt bad for because before me a woman and a man kept entering and exiting the store back and forth. They were yelling and harassing him over items. He was very polite and helpful afterwards so that alone I will give 5 stars to. Inside the store was pretty clean, not too hot or cold. No seating inside but there were some tables outside. I will definitely come back here instead of the Orange location. It is less busy here read more

I enjoy their unique, seasonal ice cream flavors, but my favorite ice cream flavors are ones they have year-round: mint monster (green) and cookie monster (blue). The ice cream is good on its own, but the combination of a warm, glazed milky bun (similar to a donut) with cold ice cream and crunchy "afters flakes" is where it's at. I usually ask for the bun to be sliced in half, so I can swap half with a friend. This way, we each get to eat two different combinations. The ice cream here is a really good, but this shop is not enforcing the mask policy. My husband and I waited for a party of 7 girls to leave the facility before going in because 5 of them weren't wearing masks. We asked if they require masks, they said yes, and then my husband asked "well why didn't you say anything to that party?" The employee responded that they didn't have masks on them, and the store didn't have masks to hand out. I feel that the store should've refused service at that point because now they're encouraging the spread of COVID. We paid at the cash register, turned around, and ANOTHER family was entering without masks. If you aren't going to enforce it, remove the sign on your door that says masks are required. read more

Best ice cream I've had in a while! I ordered 2 scoops--milk and cereal (topped with Captain Crunch) & salty Oreo. Both were amazing! All the hype about this place and it's famous milky bun was true. I came here after already stuffing myself in the area of lunch with coworkers. They had just opened, and it was not crowded (no one was here yet). I tried and few different ice creams, but settled on the Cookie Monster milky bun with Oreo topping. Amazing. It was so good. I had to eat it in a hurry so I could drive and get back to work, but I would definitely come back here without hesitation. I am definitely glad I did not pass this place up and finally tried it. Parking can be full, especially as the little parking lot may not be able to handle the high traffic, but both times I've been to this center around lunch on a weekday I have been able to find parking. I've been going to afters off and on for several years , mostly for the Cookie Monster as it's a fantastic flavor. My issue isn't the flavors - they are delicious. At this point it's the amount that they give you for the price. I get it businesses need to make money - that's fine. But on the consumer end, when I pay almost 12$ after tax for 3 scoops of ice cream, I want to feel like I actually got 3 full scoops of ice cream - make it worth the price. I'm not sure what's happened to this place but it seems everytime I go the amount is different as time goes on. This particular time I once again got 3 scoops. However, it was more like 3 scoops that equaled 1 full scoops. As you can see from the picture below what I mean. Rich farms down the road (which is also fantastic) if you get 3 scoops you actually feel it's actually just that. The portion will be spilling out and lid barely fitting when they put it on... Portions need to match the price. Afters really needs to do better in this aspect, people don't have a problem spending for something that is already overpriced as long as they feel it was worth it... this isn't worth it and borderline a laughable ridiculous portion. read more

They have so many unique flavors: jasmine milk tea, hot cocoa, birthday cake, thai tea, mint monster, milk and cereal, Strawberry cookie crunch, Vietnamese coffee and many more. You can the ice cream in a cup, waffle cone or milky bun. You can choose from plenty of toppings: captain crunch, oreos, Afters flakes, mochi, fruity pebbles, rainbow sprinkles and others. This place was a modern designed ice cream shop. Interior was a little bit tight with no interior seating, but there was a table outside. It was in a strip mall with good parking. They offered a military discount that was already preset in their POS system, you just have to mention it, the ice cream flavoring was very vast. Lots of variety prices seem to be industry standard.
