Came here for a coworker's goodbye luncheon. I agree with the other reviewers...this place is huuuuuuuge. We had 20+ people in our group so it was perfect. The place was also packed so it was a good thing we got there early. It's definitely in a odd location, but it's close to work so it's convenient. Mousaka: nice and chunky slices of potato and eggplant, and ground beef with a generous covering of bechamel sauce on top. Not to mention the parsley fries and salad. The feta cheese on the salad was hard and tasteless, but the yogurt/mayo(?) olive dip/sauce that came with my plate was superb. The hummus and pita bread was also very tasty. Went to lunch here today as a co-worker found them through Yelp. I didn't know this place existed today and I will definitely be going back. The portions are huge, prices and the service were reasonable. The outside of the place is misleading but once inside it was a nicely decorated with greek insipired items. It wasn't too crowded but had a good enough group of people to give me the indication this was a hidden gem. I tried the Mousaka today, the plate came with a greek house salad, french fries and a huge slab of the Mousaka that looked like a lasagna. It tasted good but next time I am going to try one of the kabobs or wraps as this was too much food. read more

Wow - this place was a great find! Came here for lunch with the office crew. I was amazed at how big this place is. Tiny ordering counter up front though, so there can be quite a line. I got the Falafel sandwich and fruit. Sat down at the table and we got fresh pita and hummus, which was so freaking good, best I've had. I was stoked on the falafel, nice and moist, great flavor. It needed more tahini sauce though, as I started using the left over hummus for added flavor. Pita was thick, and didn't break while trying to eat that large sandwich. I have been a costumer for many years. The sides servings seem to get bigger and bigger, and the food quality has decreased significantly. And so much waste too. Chicken Souvlaki is lately so small, dry and over grilled. Not appetizing at all. Last time I was thereI was served pre-fried, like warm, not very pleasantly looking fries. Just discovered Agape Grill. My wife and I went there for lunch today (Saturday) and found a real hidden gem in Sunnyvale. Ever since our trip to Athens last year, we have been searching for authentic Greek food near Sunnyvale and this is IT. Service was excellent, warm, inviting, friendly and attentive. From the outside, you would never know the interior decor is beautiful, with artwork and tasteful murals on the walls. With the Greek music playing softly in the background, it brought back many fond memories of Athens. They also have a nice patio area outside with umbrellas to shade you from the sun. I ordered the gyro wrap with fries which was hands-down the best I've had in the states. My wife had the Agape Anaki (lamb) which was also very good. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the large portions. They are open from 7:00AM-9:00PM MON-SAT and even serve breakfast. It is nice to find this quality of Greek restaurant in this area that is open Saturdays. Highly recommended, FIVE STARS. read more

When you get here get a menu, choose what you want to eat, order and get a number. Once you sit they bring you hummus, pita bread, and water. Then they bring the food when ready. Greek food, Greek sodas, Perrier, Orangina. Dolmades (5) were nice, warm and plum. Spread Sampler (4.5) with 6 different dips was very good. I had the Fatoush salad (4) (tomato, cucumber, parsley, mint, onions, romaine cut very small with olive oil and lemon) was very good, I added a lamb kabob and it was better. They also have Greek coffee, if you ask they will bring it to you after the meal. They lost our order but once they realized it they made it quickly, and at the end they brought us 3 Greek coffees, and 3 desserts Ravani (Lemon Semolina Cake) on the house. The plates are big. Tried this place for the first time yesterday because I just moved offices and this place is right by where I work. I've had a couple of Mediterranean places and most of which were not that great, but this place change my perspective on Mediterranean cuisine. First off, this place is a lot bigger than it looks. I thought it was a small little cafe type place until i went inside and turned the corner and it was like a banquet style room that stretched all the way back. Food came out so quickly that I think it was pretty much ready before we even sat down! And it comes with complimentary pita bread with hummus. Yum. Almost filled up on the pita bread instead of my actual lunch haha, which was a gyro wrap. Meat was tender, veggies were fresh, the wrap was nice and soft and it came with seasoned fries and hummus which was deeeeelicious. Definitely coming back here. They hit everything on all cylinders. Agape sauce = Refreshingly delicious; the kind of taste that doesn't get boring. Bite after bite of amazing taste that will leave you wanting more. Their pita is so fresh, soft, and moist and reheats really well (with wet paper towels in the oven). Their Salmon was seasoned really well but was a little dry for my taste (which didn't matter because I just smothered it in Agape Sauce). Their Lamb Tender was perfect, not overcooked, not dry. Seasoned just enough so that you can really taste the lamb and feel the textures of the meat. The rice that they pair with some of their dishes is pretty standard, nothing too amazing which is good because it doesn't distract from the main course. The vegetables are also, nothing too special but still tasty. I go there for the Agape Sauce. I order it by the pint and take it home and have it as a snack during the week :) the best!!! read more

This is one of the best Mediterranean places in Sunnyvale. The location is a bit out of the way, but the place compensates for that with better prices. I have been a few times already and I am impressed by the quality and quantity of food for below $15 entrées. Their salads are always fresh and delicious. I have tried a chicken and lamb dish which were very tasty. However, be prepared to take half of the food Togo - portions are huge. Excellent Service! Excellent Food! Excellent Atmosphere! Our waiter was very attentive and came over to refill our water glasses even though there were two pitchers of water on our table. His service made our meal all the more impressive. The food was cooked to perfection and the flavors were awesome - from our "Sampler Dip" appetizer down to the Baklava dessert. We got the lamb tenders and they were nicely cooked as we had requested. I thought the rice that accompanied the lamb was dry and could have been tastier. We ordered a plate of falafel. It was good but different from any falafel I have tasted. The outer shell was very thick and crunchy and inside was verry moist. Great Greek place! Not too many in the South Bay as it is. It's located in more of an office/industrial park area, so it's busy at lunch but not so much during dinner. The food is great! Love the olive tapanade that they give you with the warm pita bread. The entrees are all amazing. I usually just go for some type of lamb gyro (there's several varieties). The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is their spanakopita because there's something in the spinach filling that I don't really like. Sometimes when we've gone there in the evenings, some companies will have parties over there, so they cordone off the back section. The service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. read more

I tried this place out for the first time and i was EXTREMELY happy I did. As we walked in, we were immediately greeted by very nice people. Not sure if they were the owners, managers, or just employees, but they were very friendly. It was about 4pm on a Friday so it was still really empty, so they let us sit wherever we wanted. 2 minutes after we were seated, we were given complimentary pita bread and dip. The pita bread was soft and warm, basically PERFECT. The dip was delicious as well. We told our server that it was our first time so we needed extra time to look at the menu. Our server explained what everything was and suggested her favorites. While we were still browsing the menu, the server filled up our cups with ice cold lemon water and left the pitcher at our table, which I was super happy about because we had just got done with a work out, so we were planning on drinking lots of water. We finally decided what we were going to order, so we ordered and I asked if it was possible for me to sample one of their other dips, and our server gladly said yes. She came back a couple minutes later with more fresh pita bread and a good portion of the sample of the dip, which was DELICIOUS. She also came back with salads as starters, and they were also really good! It had romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, kalamata olives, and some type of vinaigrette all over. It was so simple, but so good. Our food came about 10 minutes later on big plates. You could see the steam coming from the top. Our server asked if we wanted any hot sauce, or any other sauce with our meal, so we got hot sauce. She came back right away with hot sauce, and even more pita bread! All of this pita bread was complimentary too. I couldn't believe it. I ordered the beef and chicken tender. It was served on top of rice with a side of veggies. Both the beef and chicken were AMAZING. They were cooked to perfection, nice and crispy on the outside, and super juicy on the inside. Dipped into the hot sauce made it 100 times better(I didn't think it could get any better than it was). My girlfriend ordered the beef and lamb tender. I'm not a lamb fan, so I didn't try it, but she said it was really good and that she would definitely order it again. The rice was delicious as well, and the veggies were SO good. The veggies were a mix of carrots, peas, green beans, potatoes, squash, and zucchini and they were tossed in some kind of sauce. They were perfect. Everything was perfect. Agape Grill was a great find on a game break from the softball fields. We got the Falafel and it was AMAZING!! Some of the best I have ever had. The Greek salad with grilled chicken had such flavor and the portion sizes were large. My husband had the Chicken gyro with a Greek salad and could not finish the whole thing. We are traveling from Arizona and will definitely come back when we are in town. Strongly recommend for everyone to eat here. read more

One of my favorite Greek places. Friendly service, great food. I love their yogurt drink, which they add mint and chives to, it's really tasty. It's also really close to Planet Granite, very convenient to stop by on my way home. You can eat in or take out.
