Worst company. I have tried multiple times to schedule an appointment and have not heard back from them.

They did an awesome job. I had about 8 different companies come to give me an estimate. They were the only company that was willing to save my stone fireplace. Everybody told me it was impossible to save. I needed to rebuild my fireplace. They did most of the work from the back. It came out perfect. I would highly recommend their work. read more

Our chimney cap blew off and the flue broke during a storm. Found ageless chimney on Yelp. They responded right away. We set a date and two men came. I think it was an owner and a helper. The owner gave an estimate and we hired him. They did the work same day. They were very professional, courteous and very clean. We submitted the claim to our insurance company. They paid everything (except the deductible) and said the price we were charged was a very fair, good price. The whole experience was easy and not stressful at all. If you want/need professional and top notch chimney service...these should be your guys without a doubt. Not only were they punctual and courteous but they did an amazing job updating the inside and outside of my chimney. Those of you from Levittown know that these houses have been around the block and then some. After coming by to give us an estimate on a chimney cap, they noticed that the top three rows of our chimney was coming apart. With winter coming around the corner, I didn't want to waste any time getting the job done. These guys knew things were getting pretty busy as well and were able to fit us in that day. In a matter of two hours they completely re-did the masonry on our chimney, inserted a stainless steel liner, and installed an new flue and cap. Their attention to detail while minimizing the impact to a lazy Saturday afternoon was much appreciated by me and my wife. This company was recommended to me by a friend. I value all recommendations that are made to me through friends. The company was suppose to come and do a simple chimney sweep for $40 but when the service man came they tried to pull a bate-and-switch. The service man came and said we need to do replace the lining and it would cost couple of thousand dollars!! I told them that I wanted the chimney to be swept as discussed and even offered them as much as $70 to do the job. After much back and forth the serviceman agreed but said that i needed to sign some sort of waiver to which I AGREED only after he did the job. The serviceman than just left!! I called them at 9:30am today due to water vapor dripping down my chimney. I knew i needed a liner, and was worried that the damage to my chimney would get worse the longer i waited. I was also nervous about carbon monoxide back drafting down the chimney. I never expected them to be able to even come by on the same day for an estimate. I was super surprised when they made it to my house at 3PM and had the liner in the truck ready to be installed. My wife said the work was done very fast, the employees were extremely nice and very helpful. They left my house with no mess, and very clean. I've been meaning to write this review for a while! After having some bad experiences (where I was overcharged and underwhelmed by the service), I turned to Yelp and found Ageless. Sherwood came to my house promptly and was a complete professional - and extremely personable! Their prices were extremely reasonable and the work was done well. Called for an appointment on 8-30, was told that the next scheduled timeframe for an initial look at my problem was 9-11 between 12-3. Great, I set up the appointment. I was told I'd get a call the day before to confirm, I never was called. I tried calling that but went to an answering service. I was called on the at 8AM the morning of 9-11 stating that I am not in their system but they would check if a technician would be able to make it. At 9 o'clock Erin calls back to say she had not heard back from any technicians as of yet but I was not forgotten. At noon I reached out again but they had closed and again I went to the answering service. I left a message asking to speak to a manager on Monday. Received a call this morning from Erin with an attitude. She had never heard back form the technician so what more could be done. Maybe a phone call with an update? I had been told I was not in the system and there are 4 woman who work there so it could have been anyone that took my initial call. In looking at prior reviews this excuse has been used before. This was just a preliminary look to identify a problem not the actual work. Could an effort have been made to send someone on Monday to address a concern? Or was it easier to have an attitude and not care that a customer has been treated unfairly. I'm happy that business is so good that you can afford to lose clients. And please do not go down the road of this was not an error on your part, I have my notes and times that I called so just accept you made an error and lost a client. But do work on your customer service skills. read more

Our oil company came to do the annual boiler cleaning and said there was a nest in the chimney. I had their recommended chimney company come for an estimate and they said we needed a new liner and brickwork (we have a very old house so I wasn't surprised), but their price seemed high. I'm usually wary about calling a company without a personal recommendation, but I called Ageless based on their on-line reviews and couldn't be happier. Their price was considerably less than we were quoted by the first company. They arrived on time, were able to do the work same day and were done in about an hour. My chimney recently got damaged by superstorm sandy. I gave ageless chimney a call after their website provided me with great information. The owner Bob came to my house the same week. They were able to rebuild and fix my chimney so I could use heat and hot water. I was so impressed with the way the company was efficient and clean. Highly recommend them! read more

Unfortunately not thrilled with work that was done. We had them redo our stoop with the understanding all sides would be bricked like original, it wasn't. Sides were stuccoed. Plus gaps between bricks on steps where water would seep and in winter when frozen would cause cracks. The stone was marked up and they destroyed grass by cutting stone on it. They set me up with an appointment for a one hour window and confirmed the day before. The guys got here on time. They were terrific -- turned up on time, showed us pictures/videos of the work that needed doing (and more pictures after they had done it), and offered good prices. First let me start off my saying Charlie was very nice during the consult and then when him and his crew came back to do the job, the Chimney looked great. Second, I didn't notice at the time when the chimney was completed that both gutters needed to be replaced due to the cement that was used to fixed the chimney. When we contacted Ageless Chimney in regards to this matter, Christian (who was with Charlie during the repairs) came out and stated that he would replace the gutters as long as we got the materials. It took about a month for Christian to come out because according to him this was a favor. For the money that the company asked for the repair once they crew noticed there was an issued w/the gutters they should have notified the home owners and then allow the home owners to decide if they wanted to replace the gutters. Christian arrived today with a NASTY ATTITUDE. When he finished I asked him why did he only replace one of the two gutters, he stated this was a conversation he previously had with my Mom, that one of the gutters would be replaced and that he is not coming back to place the other gutter. I would not advise ANYBODY to use this company, it starts off good they do half the work, take your money and the moment there is a issue w/the repairs the repair men are NASTY INDIVIDUALS. My family and I WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY AND DO NOT APPRECIATE THE SELFISHNESS OF THIS BUSINESS. Thank you. read more

I was having a boiler installed and my boiler guy said that we need somebody to clean out the chimney before he starts the boiler up so last minute I was scrambling around trying to find somebody who could get there within the next few hours. I call these guys and they were able to come within a couple of hours and clean out my chimney but they ran into was a clogged chimney with the clay falling apart clogging my chimney so these guys are put in an insert and a cap while it was dark out. Got my boiler running cuz it was like 30 degrees out here in New York and was able to get heat that night if it wasn't for these guys I don't know what I would have done thank you guys you're the best highly recommended read more

Someone called to confirm the appt a couple of days prior. These guys did an EXCELLENT job. I just purchased a house in the Levittown area, and needed some chimney work done before the cold season hits. They arrived exactly on time as scheduled, and made sure to protect my carpets from all the dirt of the cleaning. They showed me a video of my 60 year old chimney in desperate need of a new Liner.
