After investing a significant amount of money into what was supposed to be an exciting backyard project for my son and me, I am left beyond disappointed with the workmanship, lack of accountability, and unfinished work by Ageless Masonry and the companies they chose to work with. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a contractor. More than a year later, the job is still not completed, and getting any response from the owner has become nearly impossible. The grading and drainage were done improperly, leaving my yard filled with puddles after rain and even after normal splashing from the pool. Multiple parts of the project remain unfinished, including lighting and wiring that were paved over before the electrician could complete the installation. The outdoor kitchen was never properly finished, the grill does not function, and the sink was never installed at all. To make matters worse, the pool company they used, Sweeney's Pools -- another company I would never recommend, caused damage to my sewer line, which ultimately had to be repaired by my own personal plumber. Despite the damage and ongoing issues, no one involved was willing to take accountability, leaving me completely responsible for dealing with the aftermath myself. Recent attempts were made to contact Bob, the owner of Ageless Masonry, regarding these ongoing issues. One response was received initially, but after I clarified my availability for him to come assess the problems, there was no further communication. No follow-up, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. For a company that promotes itself as a local Wantagh business, this level of customer service is unacceptable. What should have been a beautiful addition to our home turned into over a year of aggravation, stress, and disappointment. It is extremely upsetting to feel taken advantage of after trusting a company to do the right thing. I would never recommend Ageless Masonry to anyone. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and look elsewhere. read more

I live in Levittown , I was having a roof leak in my upstairs bathroom. Through some Internet research I found these guys were very reputable so I called , they answered, and came out right away. Turns out I was leaking in two places my boiler chimney was falling apart with all loose mortar and loose bricks letting rain get in, and my bathroom vent pipe need to be reflashed and needed a small roof patch. I have a pretty flat roof so Bobby, the owner, let me go up there with him. He showed me all the problems and then to my surprise was ready to fix it right away. His truck had bricks , mortar , roofing, tar paper and flashing cement. He relined the chimney with a stainless steel flue and gave me a new cap. He also reflashed the chimney and bathroom vents and then took down the chimney and put it back up with new bricks and patched a 5'x5' section of black roof all in one day. I was impressed, and no mess. I was happy to have the owner do the work , he did a great job on the brickwork and really did a good job matching the colors. I would and have recommended Bobby for other jobs and to my family and friends. read more

Ageless Chimney Inc blew me away with customer service ... They were really the only "professional " company I dealt with from first friendly phone call to finished job . I was having a pretty bad leak coming from somewhere on my roof... I loved the fact that ageless chimney was able to do a little roofing as well bc I was having a leak issue , they advertise owner on every job and , as advertised the owner was there , super knowledgable compared to the other two estimates I got from what I thought were also reputable companies. So after a few estimates I hired Ageless chimney to Reline my chimney w a stainless steel liner and they had to do a pretty substantial rebuild on the top of my chimney... They took off the top 5 feet and put up new bricks with mortar , it was extremely loose and in need of a fix up. These guys fixed my chimney liner my bricks and roof. They were efficient , had the best estimate and left the job spotless. I will have them back to sweep out my chimney every year and won't be worried about creepy chimney guys because I'll use Ageless! Ps they have fantastic Angies List reviews too ! read more

My grandmother was recently informed by her oil company that her chimney was in need of repair and/or maintenance. The chimney business in general is viewed with mostly a gruff attitude, making me wary to choose one haphazardly. After asking around a bit and through the recommendation of a friend, I gave Ageless Chimney a call. They could not have been more professional. One of the owners even sent me a video from my grandmothers roof explaining exactly what was wrong and what should be done to circumvent future issues. When I asked my contractor friend if it made sense he agreed and said they knew what they were talking about. Then he asked for their number because "good chimney guys are hard to find." All in all, I would highly recommend Ageless to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and fair company. Five stars to Ageless Chimney Needed a chimney inspection ASAP as heating system was down due to chimney blockage. Cheryl offered a next day apt; when I mentioned that heat was lost on a cold day, she made a phone call and got me on the schedule for later that day. Sherwood and his co-worker arrived and quickly identified and resolved the problem. The repair was quasi-major and unexpected but they were very diligent in keeping me updated as to when they would arrive (as they were working elsewhere when I called), gave me a quote upon their arrival and worked promptly. It was a pleasure doing business with Ageless Chimney. They are consumate professionals. I was in need of a walkway to be built in front of my 94 year old mother's house. This was a logistical nightmare as I live 60 miles away. Communicating with Sherwood either directly or through Cheryl was easy, effective and efficient. I was offered 2 options, pavers or cement and 2 estimates for the job. We opted for the pavers which were slightly more expensive but well worth it in my opinion.
