Does this restaurant use veal in any of its dishes? Many Italian restaurants do and ethically, I will not dine in a restaurant that does.

We visited with reservations, and we were seated almost immediately, but it was probably a little less than half empty. However, as the night progressed, I did notice it fill up with individuals starting to sit in the bar seating. The staff was so friendly, so cute, and so happy to be here. The staff was so helpful in sharing the specials and recommending wine and appetizers with our food selection. The food was amazing: the octopus was delicious, the lamb was delicious, and the desserts were delicious. None of the foods had a gritty taste. A little on the pricier side, but worth a try as the food is delicious! + Kind staff + Chill cozy environment + Recommend the dessert and the octopus appetizer + Pricier side + Reservations!

La Ciccia came up with really high rating and lots of review, so I decided to give it a try. Here're what we ordered: Spaghetti with fish roe 4/5 light, savory, pretty good Sea urchin pasta: 3/5 its a tomato based sea urchin pasta, I think I make better uni pasta tbh Ragu: 3/5 very very standard Shrimp with basil oil: 4/5 better than the pasta dishes we ordered. But a few shrimp didn't taste fresh Thin bread with cheese and rosemary: 3/5 it was very salty. Crunchy, and that's about it. Service was great, but unfortunately the food had more to desire.

We really enjoyed the tagliatelle as well- the boar was very aromatic. Desserts were delicious and the olive oil they used for the complimentary bread was some of the best olive oil I've tasted. Definitely make a reservation if you can. We managed to snag a Sat lunch reservation for 4 people the night before and it looked like a lot of people coming in had reservations. The restaurant is small but beautiful with additional patio seating with heaters. Service was good, food came pretty quickly. Free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood streets.

I understand that a new employee may have made a mistake, but once the situation was brought to your attention, there was still no attempt to find a solution. Instead, we were simply told to keep waiting. The problem was never the mistake itself. Mistakes happen in every restaurant. The problem was how it was handled afterward. That's why this response feels more like an explanation than a resolution. If you knew the information we were given was incorrect, I would have expected some effort to make things right rather than simply asking us to wait longer. We were genuinely excited to dine at your restaurant, which is why the experience was so disappointing.
