I really like how to receipt was also pink! But overallI really liked the service and the ambiance! I also met the owner and she was very kind. Food also lived up to expectations and I love how everything is pink and feminine. Would recommend trying

Tried this new brunch spot with the girls and had such a great experience! We walked in around 11:30 and there was about a 30-minute wait, but we were able to grab seats at the bar while we waited. It ended up being the perfect way to start brunch--we ordered a few of their fun drinks to share, and they were delicious. Once we were seated, we shared several dishes so we could try a little of everything, and every single thing was amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the wait. A big shoutout to Monica, who took great care of us at the bar, and Maria, our server, who was friendly and attentive. We even got to meet the owner, who was so sweet and welcoming. She took the time to chat with us, and we had to get a picture with her before we left. Great food, fun atmosphere, and genuinely kind people. We'll definitely be back!

Vibes were immaculate with tasty food and amazing decor. Justin and Johnny were so nice giving us compliments and checking up constantly. Very creative drinks and a must stop for a fun brunch!

I was really excited to try this place because of all the hype, but it was honestly DISAPPOINTING. After waiting so long to be served , the avocado toast and the chilaquiles both came very soggy and lacked any texture or flavor. I also ordered the breakfast burrito, which is supposed to come with chorizo, but mine didn't have any at all. It felt like an important ingredient was completely forgotten. Overall, I don't think the food lived up to the hype, especially for the price. Hopefully they pay more attention to quality and accuracy with orders in the future.

This is the newest addition to the downtown Santa Rosa food scene... If we are talking about trying to up the game in creativity, ambience, attention to detail, service, and exquisite food, Café Carrusel fits the bill The chile relleno omelette was scrumptious and big enough to share! Now we need to come back and try EVERYTHING else on the menu!! "Breakfast is a meal, Brunch is a Culture!"

Every year I look for a place to celebrate my sobriety birthday with all my girlfriends in Sonoma County. I've driven by Cafe Carrusel a few times and thought it looked so cute and so fun. I knew nothing about it so had no expectations and hoped for the best. Well I have to say of all my 18 celebrations this was by far the best! I spoke to the owner Ivy( who is beyond fabulous) and told her what I was wanting. I had seen on their IG how they celebrate birthdays and told her I wanted exactly that!!!! Well she delivered. I had a party of 20 they gave us a great table in the back that gave us a bit of privacy to be loud and silly. Our server ( I'm embarrassed to say I forgot her name) was GREAT!!!!!!! Best service I've had in a long time. She was attentive, patient and beyond helpful for all of my guests. The service overall was so wonderful I can't really say enough. They all offered to take our pictures without really even being asked which was great ! The food was also wonderful everything from a nacho burger to French toast and absolutely insane fajitas. The drinks also so fun and very tasty. They even brought me a birthday mocktail which no restaurant has ever done. Every single thing about Cafe Carrusel was above and beyond. They even took video of the birthday cake celebration Cafe Carrusel style and texted it to me! I mean they have thought of everything to make you feel special. I'd give 100 stars if I could. HIGHLY recommend. Thank you Cafe Carrusel for making my birthday so incredibly special and one I'll never forget.

The ambiance is so fun! Great place to celebrate and have brunch. Food was flavorful and great portions. Our server was amazing and always available for our large party. Drinks yummy. No complaints. No reservations so larger party make sure bring your patience and know it's super busy right now but worth it and they do not rush you at all! Highly recommend!!!

Nacho smash burger with crispy fries. Lightly spicy and full of flavor. A must try.

When your world is grey, paint it pink. This place not only has amazing food and magical drinks and desserts, but it really brings you back to the part of yourself you left behind in adulthood. I got the nacho smash burger and the cloud nine drink. They call it cloud nine because it's topped with cotton candy, glitters & has you floating. My daughter got th funnel cake with extra toppings and it should have been named cloud 10. What a joyful experience.

Such a cute addition to the breakfast scene! The atmosphere is adorable, and despite how busy it was, the staff stayed friendly and attentive. I really appreciated that they weren't short staffed and were more than happy to take photos for guests it made the experience feel welcoming and personal. We ordered the green chilaquiles, an omelette, a latte, and the Mexican hot chocolate. The drinks were absolutely delicious, and the food itself was flavorful. My omelette wasn't made exactly as ordered, but it was still tasty, so I wasn't bothered enough to send it back. The only downside was the wait. Our food took about 50 minutes to come out, and unfortunately, the stack of pancakes we ordered never arrived. That said, it was clear they were very busy, and I noticed the owners were out on the floor helping the staff and interacting with customers, which says a lot about how much they care about their restaurant. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I'm looking forward to coming back once the initial rush settles down. I think this place has a lot of potential, and I'm excited to give it another try!

Chilliqueles and Birria tacos with broth and green sauce.

This place is amazing. Super family, friendly and clean. I saw many birthdays going on and everyone looked happy. The menu had a vast array of options. The chile relleno was amazing and my daughter got the turkey club which she gave two big thumbs up. Which came with the tastiest french fries. My sister got the Chilequeles and we split the birria tacos. The quality of the food speaks for itself and the service was above and beyond. I highly recommend coming here and Che out all the good stuff they have to offer.

    Cajun penne pasta

Went Saturday (opening weekend) around 12:30, definitely busy, but this place is very cute, with the most girly vibe I've ever seen. A lot of photo op spots! Food was good, and everything has a Mexican-food twist. The food wait was very long, but this should be better once everything calms down. Seating arrangments seemed kinda tight, but there is outdoor space too. They have very extended hours, so I'm looking forward to going back for an evening visit. I do think they could benefit from playing music, or at least putting speakers on the patio. This definitely had a bit of a party vibe!

My sister and I were excited to try this restaurant for the first time, and we understand that busy restaurants can have longer wait times. However, after waiting over an hour, we still hadn't received our food while at least six other parties who arrived after us had already been served. When our food finally came out, it was cold and unfortunately not very good. I ordered the waffle Benedict, but the eggs were fully cooked instead of having runny yolks, which made the dish disappointing. After waiting so long, I expected the food to be fresh and prepared correctly. My sister ordered an omelet, but it was very thin, and the bread served with it wasn't even toasted. We also weren't offered any butter or jam for the bread, which was another small but noticeable disappointment. And the cherry on top was they do not offer decaf coffee at a brunch restaurant. The staff did give us 50% off our bill for the inconvenience, which we appreciated. However, the food quality was still disappointing, and overall the experience was not a great one.

    Elila W.

So freaking good. I'm not even into the color pink, but the food/drinks and attention to detail is insanely awesome. The biscuits and gravy are the best in Santa Rosa (yes even better than Hanks or Sam's Foreplay) and the salads also rock. I wasn't planning on loving it because it's not my vibe, but the servers are so nice, the drinks are delicious and the food is top notch.

Every employee we interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the prices were very fair for the quality of the food and overall experience. We enjoyed breakfast so much that we came back the very same evening for dinner and the mariachi performance. The dinner menu is different from the breakfast menu, and once again, everything we ordered was outstanding. The food was delicious, the cocktails were fantastic, and even dessert was exceptional. I'm so glad we discovered this hidden gem. It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers such an amazing experience from start to finish, twice in the same day! This has definitely become one of our favorite restaurants, and I'll be a lifelong customer.

With all of the options around it is sometimes hard to pick a place to go on a Saturday morning. Jeffrey's is a charming, family friendly establishment that is attached to a small inn off Highway 12. Other inside is pretty small, but they do have some outdoor tables. The interior has some lovely art on the walls as well as positive phrases making you feel like you're home. The service is also great here, and I feel like I've seen the same folks working here for many years. My wife and I ordered two different Hashes to share. The Brussel Sprouts and Bacon Hash is fantastic, which has this blue cheese aioli that gives the dish so much flavor. The Brussel sprouts seem like they're steamed and then tossed in the hash with sautéed diced onions, bell peppers and bacon. The aioli is on the side, but just adding a little bit to each bite gives it so much extra. We also ordered the special of the day which was a Smoked Chicken and Butternut Squash Hash. It has some of the same elements of sautéed onions and bell peppers, but this was served with a cilantro aioli. This dish, while not as amazing at the other Hash, was still really good. My daughter ordered the Buttermilk pancakes (added blueberries to them) with sausage and eggs. She certainly enjoyed them!

Food: Needs work. Ordered the Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were on point. Absolutely perfect. The champagne hollandaise was a fun twist but couldn't save the meal. The English muffin might have been hard track. It was paper thin and I had to saw through it. Ham had no flavor at all. I don't think it was ham. Maybe thin sliced and unseasoned pork but not ham. Worst part was the county potatoes. They came out slightly above room temperature and hard. They're parboiled then flash fried. Not a bad way to get crisp but I can only assume they do this ahead of the rush and then they sit in a container to be served. My wife ordered her's extra crispy and they come out much better. Coffee smelled and tasted like an ashtray. Overall, I wanted to like this place and the service itself is amazing, but the back of the house needs some work.
