Stopped in for a quick lunch. The location is very convenient if traveling on Route 81. Sat in the bar area as I was dining alone. The bartender was very pleasant and although she was busy, still took the time to visit with everyone. The menu is extensive and really has something to suit every appetite. If you're looking for true, authentic Italian, this is the spot for you! You really can tell the difference when a place uses fresh, homemade ingredients and Aiello's does for sure! One of the owners also took the time to ask how my meal was, chat a bit, etc. Definitely felt like a valued customer in this establishment. Great food and service. Stopped in while traveling on Rte 81. When on road trips, my kids and I try to eat at local restaurants instead of the national chains whenever possible. Followed the signs right off the highway to the restaurant. Was a Sunday around 5pm, got right in and sat with no wait. Within 10 minutes of sitting down, was not an empty table in the place. Family owned italian style restaurant. Great dining room, also has a room for casual (pizza, etc) dining and a bar area. Glad we stopped at Aiello's. 2 adult meals, 2 Iced teas, 2 desserts and a loaf of there homemade bread to go for under $50!! Phenomenal food, fantastic service. The restaurant is over 2 hours from my home, but when my path goes near this restaurant, I am eager to stop and get a meal. Was in for lunch and had the gluten free pizza, definitely one of the best I have had anywhere! My husband had a turkey sub and enjoyed it a lot! Stopped on our way between cities looking at schools. Fantastic pizza - it was the Nona pizza. Thought it would be good but it was better than great. And a chicken Caesar salad. I am kind of a specialist at these simple salads and this was one of the best I have ever had. The chicken was tender and flavorful. My 17 year old son said the same. This place is the go to Italian restaurant in Whitney Point! This place is a very mellow, calm place when it's not crowded. Our waiter, Crystal, was very helpful and funny. I was with a group of five, and this was after a very long drive from New York and stopped here. I ordered the gnocchi and the rest of the group ordered the carbonara, the clam and white wine sauce with linguini, one ordered the chicken Marsala, and the child ordered the children's ravioli. We had a fresh batch of bread made daily, and the order came shortly after. They have only three cooks and can only cook table by table, so you have to wait for a bit. But what the restaurant lacks in speed, they majorly gain in flavor, deliciousness, and awesomeness in general. They ask if you want Parmesan on your pasta and pizza. That to me is pretty good because other Italian restaurants don't do that. They have candle-lit tables and lots of interesting things from Italy. We have lived in Marathon for 5 years and I continued to be disappointed in the local pizza offerings. Have been to Aiello's for dinner a few times and I LOVE the Sicilian eggplant parm. Decided to try a pizza tonight and ordered Vinnie's Delight. Well, now I know where I'll be coming for pizza from now on. Real ham, fresh mushrooms, fresh spinach and creamy ricotta. It was one of my favorite pizzas ever. Don't make the mistake and wait 5 years to try it. I'm thinking of all the mediocre pizza we've had when we could have had Aiello's! read more

The second time we went was on a Saturdayt night and we went for his birthday with a few other people. This night the food was horrible. By other reviews it seems that this place is a hit or miss. A family run and operated business with great service. The front has a nice open bar, the center casual dining, and in the back is a gorgeous dining room with beautiful wood paneling and fireplace. I went here on Sunday night as I was passing through town. I had the Cajun prime rib special and it was SPECTACULAR! Probably the best prime rib that I have ever had. I did not want it real hot, so the chef did not make it spicy. It was covered with tiny shrimp, mixed with the sauce. The salad & pasta sides were also delicious, the warm bread was wonderful, and they made a great cosmopolitan too. Overall, a great restaurant! read more

This pathetic so called "professional" establishment couldn't handle a two week reservation for 10 people, sitting us in two completely different tables leaving us unable to talk to one another, on mothers day none the less. Not authentic Italian and dry. Staff were super nice but the food wasn't worth the price or wait. Pizza crust was hard and soooo dry. Veal scampi Had button mushrooms and the veal was also soooo dry. Great food at a great price in a friendly atmosphere, what more do you need? I discovered this place about 10 years ago while driving my son to a ski competition near Rochester, I now stop in around 4-6 times a year when traveling upstate on business. I usually have a classic dish but had the Parmesan encrusted baked haddock special the other night and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The salad was fresh and crispy and the bread was amazing. Good beer selection, too! I have to travel upstate again next week and will be stopping in to see Charlie for another great meal. read more

Excellent food! We were on I-81 looking for dinner and stopped at Aiello's. A treat! The vodka sauce was perfect, light and very well spiced. Clearly we are not alone. A car of French Canadians stopped at the same time, looking as if traveling through from Florida to home. Not far of of the highway and worth a stop. Very old school. read more

The best Italian food I have ever had. My family is local, and in the 10+ years we have been going, I have never had a bad meal. If you love Fettuccine Alfredo, theirs puts every other restaurants to shame. The sauce is rich and creamy, and the flavor is out of this world. The owners, Charlie and Vinnie make every customer feel like family. One, if not both, is onsite daily and available should you ever have a problem (but I doubt you will!) The service was very poor. Multiple members of the staff were in the dining room and it still took a few minutes to get silverware after the salads were served. Waitress was unfriendly. Two employees, maybe the business manager and one of the owners, were having a disagreement back and forth in the dining room with customers listening. That's not really the environment I want to have lunch in. My tuna wrap was average. The rest of my table got the Guiness battered haddock, which was one of the specials. They all hated it.
