This company is awesome. We are renting a house in mid city and it started with the HVAC unit - it was full of gunk. We got the landlords to agree to have it serviced. When the guy came, after cleaning it, he said "all your ducts are full of dust, you need to get them cleaned out but we don't do that." And HE recommended these guys. We took that recommendation and passed it along to our landlord. Once the initial appointment was set these folks were so great to work with. Vladimir and Juan arrived 10 to 15 minutes EARLY for our 8 am appointment. They were VERY professional. Made the effort to cover all of our stuff in plastic tarp to keep it as clean as possible. Explained to me what they would be doing. Worked constantly for three and a half hours to get the ducts squeaky clean. Cleaned up after themselves. Put any furniture etc that they had had to move to get to the various vent covers back where they found them. They also documented everything with before and after photos. Really great. I then asked them to take a look at our clothes dryer vent as I'd seen on their website this was a service they also provided. They indicated it looked like it was full of dust also. They had me call Nancy to get a price for them to stick around and do the job. She was willing to work with me on a price and give me a small break since they were already at the house. The guys did everything they could, including crawling under the house to figure out what was going on only to find that the problem was more extensive than expected - the duct tube was torn apart - so they weren't going to be able to clean it, and even if they could, it wouldn't help because the larger problem of venting was those holes. They were super straightforward about it and told me to call Nancy again for what to do. When I spoke to Nancy she did not try to sell me a service they don't perform (replacement) and instead referred me to someone else and also told me she was not going to charge my card for the clothes vent even though the guys had been at the house for an extra half hour diagnosing the problem, since they weren't able to actually clean it for us. Just had the owner, i think, and his partner come out and clean a half dozen vents and ducts in my place in Los Angeles and they did an awesome job!! During the whole process they only took a few hours which is a lot less time than I have seen before. They have decent prices too. They gave me a few tips on how to better maintain cleanness within the ducks. I will use them again as I was very pleased with there service. read more

Air duct cleaning company came out to clean my Air Conditioning system at my home. They did a wonderful job! I will not need another cleaning for 5-7 years. I had called a separate time to have my dryer vent cleaned which was inaccessible, they let me know that they could not access the duct and did not charge me any fees. It is Air Duct Cleanings policy not to charge a service fee if they go out to clean your dryer vent and it is inaccessible. read more

We just bought a new house and the air-conditioning and heat units are from 1998 and we did some construction so we wanted to clean out our HVAC systems and we definitely needed it!! I think you're supposed to be doing it every seven years and I don't think the owners before us ever cleaned their ducts and coils out!! These guys were so great and so thorough and cleaned everything so well and went above and beyond with each part of our system and I was so impressed I wanted to write something about them! I am really grateful to have found them and I'm definitely going to be doing this every seven years. The cleaning has already made a huge difference in heating my house more quickly and efficiently and I know that it's good for my allergies because I've had serious allergy problems and I already feel better! My dryer exhaust duct was clogged, causing drying times of up to 2 hours. Air Duct Cleaning Company was recommended to me by the appliance company that repaired my dryer. Getting an estimate and appointment by phone was easy. The appointment was for between 4-5pm, but the technician arrived at 4pm. He determined that the duct ran in 2 sections under the building. He snaked it several times, but wasn't satisfied with the results. So he crawled under the building into a very confined space and worked there for 15 minutes (on a hot day!). He said that the 2 sections weren't joined properly and went back in and taped them up. He did some more snaking and ended up finding a sponge! (The previous tenant had used the dryer without a lint screen.) He was determined not to call the job done until he got the results he was looking for. That meant working longer than expected.......and on a Friday afternoon too!! I found out later that he had a long drive home since he lives in San Dimas and I was in West Los Angeles. He asked how often I used the dryer. Based on my response, he said the duct should be cleaned again in 3 years and that the company would send me a reminder. When I called, I told them I was extremely allergic & asked if there would be any chemicals used cleaning the dryer vent. I was assured not. The technician cleaned the dryer vent from outside. Moments after he started to work inside, my home was filled with a terrible smell that made me feel ill. He said it could be that fabric softener from a previous job had lodged in the vacuum. I am highly allergic to those chemicals & was extremely angry. He apologized & didn't charge me. Unfortunately my house was contaminated by the smell & so I called the company. The woman refused to listen & outright lied. I've never before written a bad review about anyone but she was so disturbingly nasty & passive aggressive I had to report my experience. read more

This company is great! Sears (falsely, as it turned out) told us that our dryer needed duct cleaning prior to warranty service. I called Air Duct Cleaning and Manager Nancy arranged next day service at a convenient time and a flat rate price. Technician JT called in advance and arrived as scheduled. He was professional and personable and explained everything he was doing. Since the duct was clean as a whistle, he graciously waived the fee.We were extremely impressed with their service and highly recommend them. I live in an old home with funky duct work and special concerns about asbestos taping and fiberglass contamination. I called multiple duct cleaning companies, with concerns about whether my ducts could and should be cleaned, and how. The office manager who screens initial phone calls answered some of my questions but it became clear that I needed to get answers from an actual technician. She sent Robert to my home that very afternoon for an initial assessment. He arrived exactly on time, and spent about an hour and a half looking at my ducts, climbing on the roof where my unit sits, and very patiently explaining everything to me, drawing diagrams etc. he took pictures of the insides of my ducts and rooftop unit with his point and shoot camera to show me. In the end it seemed best for me to replace my ducts entirely. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need, and was very honest and straightforward. AND HE SAID THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THE 90 MINUTE + VISIT. So while I won't be cleaning my ducts with them because my ducts are not suitable, I will definitely use them when I can in the future, and write this yelp review.
