James Garner has a rockstar like following on the nextdoor site for Copperfield and its easy to see why. He was our lifeline for years and installed new unit for us in February 2017 after limping us along for several years as the unit gave out after 21 years. James and his crew installed a new 5 ton Trane, all new ductwork, electronic dampers and zoning system, 2 new Nest thermostats, and several odds and ends (new gas lines, cement pad, heat unit jacks, surge box to protect against power surges) all for an amazing price. He will save you thousands, not a lie! His first visit to us was 10:30pm on a Sunday in July, many years ago, and finished up around midnight. Felt sorry for us (several bad and dishonest contractors) with an infant and didn't charge us a penny, nor would he take any money. We finally convinced him to take home a bottle of wine for his wife. I insulated my attic the past two winters but couldn't reach the far end of the house with the crazy duct work. I now fully understand why this fellow has a cult-like following on our community website. I first contacted James (as a first-time customer) last summer; our AC had quit cooling sometime during the night with the hottest day of the year (thus far at that time) arriving. I called their office that morning and they were booked solid for the day BUT I was told that they would see what they could work out. Got a call back that James could make it by between 8:00 and 9:00 PM if that was okay (hell yes it's okay...it's hot!) James showed up at 7:40 PM and had the system fixed in about 20 minutes (crapped-out compressor start capacitor). The cost was only slightly more than what we would have paid to stay in a decent hotel overnight. As many have said, James is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and, in his words, "treats his customers like family." I'm very glad that I held-out for James instead of searching for another HVAC company that perhaps could have made it to the house sooner. He is now my go-to HVAC guy. Air Oracle and the owner James, have been by far the best HVAC company that I have used. James came out one night close to 10pm because he was in the area and wanted to do what he could to resolve our ac issues. I was outside helping him diagnose the problems for over an hour in the dark with flashlights. He tried everything he could to fix the issue that night but unfortunately it could not be fixed and needed a new compressor. He went to the parts warehouse first thing the next morning and picked it up and had a crew out to install it the same day. He even took the time to chat with me and answer any questions I had. He is one of the nicest and most honest people I have had come to do work on my house. James installed a trane unit at our house. he is amazing and the kindest person you will meet. he saved us thousands and not only that he cleaned up and organized our duct work, which we were not expecting. everything was done in one day and this unit is a powerhouse! he arrived on time and spent the time to explain how our thermostat worked. he was even nice enough to try and work around our kid's nap time, which we told him not to worry about. there is a reason why everyone recommends him. he's the best!! read more
