We ended up needing a new gas furnace this winter after our old one broke. The first people we called was Airmaster. We got someone to come out and check out our issues almost immediately. After we were told that the replacement part would be $1000 we decided to buy a new one. After a couple of price comparisons, this place knocked every other quote out of the ball park. They offer discounts too for military or first responders. The people that came to replace our heater came on time and did it pretty quickly. They went over everything before they left and also respected our floors by putting a cloth on the surface to prevent denting or dirt from tracking. read more

WARNING: Avoid Air Masters HVAC - Unprofessional Air Masters HVAC is an extremely unprofessional company. They wanted to charge us twice for an estimate that should have been completed during their first visit. The initial diagnosis was left incomplete due to their own oversight, yet they demanded a second fee just to return and finish what they should have done the first time. To make matters worse, after servicing our AC, it began leaking shortly after, and when we contacted them to come back under warranty, they blocked both of our phone numbers--completely cutting off communication instead of standing by their work. Terrible service, poor accountability, and zero professionalism. BEWARE--do not trust this company with your property or your money. read more

We used Air Master twice, once to replace our main blower and once to install 2 mini-splits on our second floor. Both experiences were great. I would've left my two star rating in place but I do not like to be gaslighted, even on Yelp. Peter was NOT prompt and did NOT provide a full evaluation, diagnostic report, recommendations and estimates for services that will allow your tenants system to run optimally (as you stated in your response). This was half of the problem. The other half was that you made me feel that you were doing me a favor by giving me your time to hear about my issue with your employee without any regard to the time you took FROM me by not providing good service. I just had the guys from Airmaster in to do a complete boiler replacement. They did an excellent job and I am very pleased. If you're a homeowner, you know that things always break down at the worst time. Airmaster listened to my concerns and talked over my options. Dave, Domenic, and Jeff patiently answered my questions and explained the what, when, why, and how. Christi and Carin graciously answered even more questions and fit me in for an installation promptly. Erildo and Caleb arrived on time and handled the removal and installation skillfully. Jeff came by to inspect the work and diagnosed a leak from an pipe embedded in my wall. This discovery almost sent me over the edge, but the team was undeterred. The guys finessed the crumbling pipe out of the wall, and Tom the Airmaster himself appeared with a call to "let the doctor operate." The team replaced that timeworn pipe with a brand-new one, bringing the heat and bringing me back from the brink of insanity. My new boiler works perfectly and I can already tell it is more efficient than the old one. And all the work was done in one visit. Without a doubt I recommend Airmaster for your home's heating and cooling systems. Whatever you've got in there or want to get out of there and replaced, they can do it. I've hired them in the past to install and maintain a ductless mini-split air conditioning system and also had great results. If like me you are frugal but want the best, go with Airmaster. =DON'T TRUST THE 5 STAR REVIEWS = My fan stopped blowing on my central air unit outside. AirMaster Heating and Cooling Specialists billed me almost $500.00 for a part (40+ 5 Mfd 1.0 Dual Capacitor) that cost less than $20.00 and even a child could replace it. Search it on YouTube. He replaced it in under a minute. Then he drained so much freon out of my system. Talking about, he was pressure checking it. I didn't ask for that and he charged me $109.00 for that. So now I'm out of $500.00, out of freon, and out of my mind for even paying this company. The fan is spinning, but it's NO freon in my system now. UPDATE: 2 weeks later, the central air unit's fan stopped working again and they won't return my calls. They said that I have a 90 Day warranty but, this sneaky rip off of a company will probably call me back on the 91st day. Good thing that I have audio/video surveillance cameras inside and all around my house outside. Now I'm going to sue them and I'm a post a YouTube video of what they've done and how much they charged me. So search Don't use (this company name) on YouTube real soon. I'm posting it today. My sister had the same problem and she was charged $260.00. Oh, I almost forgot, the person that answered this company's phone told me that it's going to be $266.00. Quality work at a good value. They are responsive to their customers' concerns and needs and an absolute pleasure to work with. I hired them to install from an existing broken tank water heater to a tankless water heater. Tom was upfront and honest. He made sure I was informed before moving forward. He was great and willing to answer all questions on this big project - from brands, models, peripherals, etc. They worked with me every step of the way to ensure I was well-informed and happy with my project. They were the only contractor that recognized that I was without hot water and offered to prioritize my job if I decided to go with them - which I did. Their technicians did a great job and very respectful. They left my place in nearly as good a condition as they could [nothing they could do about the very small drywall holes that needed to be cut to run electrical and venting]. I've not had a more professional experience than what I've had with AirMaster, especially with Tom. Two years ago, Tom gave me a free estimate about my gas furnace replacement options. It was less of an estimate and more of an education. With a lot to think about, I waited a year, and Tom came back and gave me more food for thought. I had his team install a heat pump the next week. Tom said it would take two days, and it took two days. His team were a bunch of nice guys who did great work while arguing about tv shows all day. Hilarious. I did ask the team to do something a bit extra on my roof for me and they complied. However, it didn't go smoothly. I had to call Tom on a Sunday morning when I realized the error. He immediately called me back and had an expert, that he paid for, on my roof fixing the issue the next day. Problem solved. Since then, about 6 months ago, Tom has had to read many emails from me asking him technical questions about how this heat pump actually operates. After this last email blast I sent him, I received a schedule appointment telling me Tom was stopping by. "Easier to talk," I think he said when he got here. He has a heat pump in his own home and tests it like I was doing. He had all the answers again. read more
