HOME OWNERS POLICY: After three mistakes they've made, I would call them "sloppy". They sent me a cancelation notice stating I had mold and didn't repair it based off a dark photo. Never had mold. Received neither communication sent to old address. Found my house was completed listed incorrectly (footage, foundation type) and policy was double what it should be. Corrected that but AIS forgot to submit to insurance company. Had I not called to follow-up, I would have been cancelled...again. Attempting to fix, given incorrect info to submit photos today. Just NOT PROFESSIONAL in my opinion. Can't say a claim would go well either. read more

AAA had gotten too expensive and I was soon to lose whatever discounts I had with them once my title transfer was complete. The original guy I spoke was kinda curt with me. Had an issue where my renters insurance wasn't cancelled as it should have been and I was overcharged for months that I didn't have a rental. Unfortunately when I called, I didn't get much help, but after posting a review here, they were able to back date my insurance cancellation and get me a refund. I would have given this a 5 star review since they were able to fix my problem, but it shouldn't have taken posting a bad review to get help, hence why it's 4 stars. Also their automated system isn't great and frustrating to use. It keeps transferring you to the insurance provider instead of an agent when you need an agent. read more

Received a blanket response to my review that doesn't offer any kind of refund for causing my registration to be terminated, and for the months of coverage that was not correct. I lost hundreds of dollars because an employee of AIS took my request for insurance coverage to be moved to another state and instead of underwriting a new policy (I had no idea this was a thing at the time) he just changed my address and didn't complete the request. There's phone call proof this isn't correct and isn't what I asked for. They took someone (who had paid them for YEARS!) who was looking for guidance and made a mistake when helping AND CANNOT SEEM TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. Do not get your insurance policy through these people if you want to be able to depend on them for help and changes later. read more

I leased a new BMW X1, and the Insurance co, Mercury, requested to make four photos from four different sides. I sent them to the company but suddenly I received the policy cancellation letter. I called AIS and fortunately was connected to Maria de Leon. She immediately understood the problem, asked me to send the pictures to AIS, helped me to upload all pictures, then connected with the Mercury to make sure they are satisfied with the pictures and finally, which is the most important thing, made sure that my policy would be reinstated. Most of their agents have no clue how to problem solve or explain insurance policies. Some of their agents just laugh and joke around with others in background and you are trying to discuss your policy. AIS and Mercury keep passing you around back and forth, no one wants to solve the problem. AIS says it's a Mercury billing dept issue, and Mercury says it's an AIS issue. read more

Horrible company. Do not get your insurance through them. They charge exorbitant rates and they will not let you know when your premium is due. Called to get assistance on a Friday and they told me I would have to wait until Monday. No problem I just got a different insurance company and am saving $900 annually. Stay away! read more

My entire experience was questionable. They brute forced me into a new policy. I work from home and I commute every once in a while and they kept telling me I had to put it down as business use. A week and a half later my provider they gave me dropped me because my vehicle didn't qualify when I told them from the start.
