We saw this cozy restaurant while in NJ I went in to get a bubble tea I had my favorite (Mango bubble tea) (Passion fruit tea) (Taro bubble tea ) We order some food, I had some sushi and My fiancé had Shrimp Egg Foo Young The food was (SoSo) Definitely was not feeling my sushi at all! The servers were not friendly at all lol Even though we just got our food to go‍ I did enjoy my bubble tea

This place will deff NOT be on the top restaurants to check our or be one of Zagat's #1 places to eat at..... however, on Sundays Sushi is 50% off. The rolls itself are not amazing, but deff not bad. The yellowtail and jalapeño and spicy kana roll are my favourite, each roll has 6 pcs. Ive had pretty much everyone, and honestly for $2 to $4 a roll on a sunday, why the hell not? My friend has tried fried pork dumplings and she liked them. Not sure if its BYOB, but I've brought a bottle here before. (Private lot across the street )

Salmon Spicy Roll ($6) and the Spicy Kani Roll ($6) -- unfortunately they were awful.

Unfortunately a very bad restaurant -- this was my third time visiting and each time I hope to give them another chance by ordering different items and each time it's as disappointing as the last. I will certainly never be going back here again. - Food: On my most recent visit, I ordered takeout, getting the Salmon Spicy Roll ($6) and the Spicy Kani Roll ($6). I also ordered the Steamed Vegetable Dumplings ($4.75) on the side. Unfortunately the Spicy Salmon Roll was so bad that I had to spit it back out, it seemed like it was left out for days and had gone bad. The same went for the Spicy Kani Roll. This is the worst sushi restaurant I have ever tried anywhere. The Vegetable Dumplings were more tolerable, and while they were absolutely bland, they were ok when mixed with the soy sauce. Bottom line: Bad food quality, poor taste, generally subpar service. There's a Sushi vendor inside the Green Market(?) in the plaza across the street, I'd recommend going there.

I usually have ordered from here on a number of occasions and loved the sushi and custom rolls. But today when I ordered and received a Salmon Roll and a Spicy Yellow Tail Roll, they both came in bigger pieces and slices then usual. Usually I wouldn't be bothered, and even more excited since I am such a big sushi lover. But once in my mouth and chewing I almost choked on a Bone within my yellowtail Roll, which I've never had this happen before. I'm not sure if there's a new sushi chef or if it was just a lazy careless mistake.

Uhhh-friggin-mazing! Although my 20$-25$ voucher wasn't working, it was worth the 26 bucks I spent. I usually can eat two specialty rolls, but here I finished the whole Royal Crown roll and 2 pieces of the Black Diamond roll!! I think I found my go to sushi spot for work days! I will be back.. just sucks there isn't much parking. So park, throw on the hazards, and go pick up your order; pray, meditate, whatever to whomever that you don't get a ticket those 5 minutes you were parked illegally!

The food here never fails but the restaurant seating is McDonalds style. Don't make the mistake of sitting before you order bc no one will approach you. They're not friendly at all. Their kids take over the place if you're there after school hours very loud and rambunctious and the employees just watch them rearrange furniture and scream at eachother. Very uncomfortable dining in. Also only Chinese place that you have to ask for fortune cookies otherwise you don't get any. Definitely order pick up or delivery the food is worth it.

The food is great, but when we order for delivery they place all of the orders on one container and it annoys me tremendously.

I ordered the Unagi Don Gozen ($42)- it came with a whole tray of different delicious items, with the star of the show being a generous amount of unagi (eel) over rice. The eel was cooked very well and the rice was flavorful with a bit of sweetness. There was also a small bowl of udon noodles, some sashimi, a crispy tempura shrimp in a yummy creamy sauce, flavorful edamame, mashed potato with corn, and some pickled veggies - quite the diverse array, all of which was tasty. The restaurant itself has a rather simple yet elegant Japanese wooden design. The prices suggest it's a more high end place, but the vibe is actually rather casual. The staff are very attentive and the service speed is pretty quick. Overall, I would definitely give Moru 4.5 stars if I could. I think it's great for most types of occasions, and the only reasons it's not getting 5 stars is because I do think the prices are a tad higher than I would've hoped and I think they could've done a bit more in terms of designing the place to match the price point. That being said, I still highly recommend Moru, especially for a nice lunch.

They have an extensive menu with sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, noodles, soup, salads, fusion appetizers, etc. They even have some Korean items like bulgogi, sundubu, and bibimbap. Prices are reasonable. I called and placed a take-out order near closing time. The employee was accommodating, pleasant, and told me my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I drove over and was able to find street parking easily. The interior is casual and spacious, but a little dreary and outdated. They have exposed brick walls, wood tables, and hanging light fixtures. My food was prepared on time. I ordered: *Salmon Lover - 4 pieces of sushi, 4 pieces of sashimi, 6 piece roll ($20.50) *Tuna Lover - 4 pieces of sushi, 4 pieces of sashimi, 6 piece roll ($20.50) The salmon and tuna were fresh in taste, texture, and smell. Vibrant colors, firm and smooth textures, and delicate flavors! The sushi rolls had the right fish to rice ratio. The rice could've been more seasoned. The miso soup was warm, savory, and comforting. Not the best sushi I've ever had, but it did the job of satisfying my cravings. I would return to try their special rolls!

My dining partner and I were seated rather quickly. Our server took our drink orders and came back promptly so we could order our food. The menu is pretty extensive but we ordered an assortment of skewers and a bowl of ramen to share. The skewers came out little by little; about 3 skewers per plate. They didn't come all at once so I assume they bring them out as they finish getting grilled. The chicken heart was some of the best I've ever had. I'm not sure if it's the way it was sliced, the seasoning, or just everything about it but I wish we ordered more. The tail skewer was another standout. It had so much crunch that it was almost like it was fried. The flavors were rich and varied. Each skewer cost upwards of $4 so that's a bummer. Unfortunately the ramen wasn't so great. Not terrible, but not great either. Especially not great for $19. Not my first choice for ramen. Is it the most bang for your buck? Certainly not. But I did enjoy my meal and in the end, that's what matters.

The dining area is in rough shape -- cracked wood, dusty interior, and a generally run-down vibe that makes it feel borderline dirty rather than "casual." Service was also frustrating. Our servers couldn't answer basic questions about the menu, which is already hard to follow if you're not familiar with Japanese terms. It left us feeling lost rather than guided. On top of that, the pricing is steep for the suburbs -- $5-$8 per skewer adds up really quickly, and it just didn't feel worth it given the atmosphere and service. All the yakitori was decent but nothing mind blowing, smaller servings and overly salty. To make matters worse, the tap water was awful -- honestly undrinkable. Look at my picture I'm shocked they thought this was acceptable to bring to our table. The food itself may be authentic, but everything else about the experience dragged it down. Unfortunately, not somewhere I'd come back to.
