BBQ Meats - Chicken, Ribs, Pork Chop, and Sausage, Plantains, Yuca Fries, Arroz Chaufa, Regular Rice, and Sauces
    Savannah R.

I was able to have Inka Terra in Stony Point, NY [146 N Liberty Dr] on Sunday, 01/04/26, during dinner time. The food was packed as a takeout order. I tried the following items: * Meats - Chicken, Ribs, Pork Chop, and Sausage * Chimichurri Sauce & Green Sauce * Plantains * Yuca Fries * Arroz Chaufa The Peruvian food was absolutely dynamite, packed with a bunch of flavor. The meats were smoked to perfection, well-seasoned, and delectable. The sauces, especially the Chimichurri, paired well with all of the proteins. The plantains were nicely sweet and the yuca fries were incredibly addictive with each bite. The arroz chaufa (fried rice) was also delicious. I highly recommend trying Inka Terra for a wonderful opportunity to experience flavorful Peruvian cuisine.

The restaurant is very beautiful and cozy casual, plus a pretty patio for outdoor meal. The service is pretty friendly and nice, always pleasant. So for the food, the Peruvian wings, piping hot and fresh, honestly it was hard to really taste the flavor of the wings and the scallion dipping sauce carried most of the flavor for the wings, and man that sauce was good, like a very savory onion flavored mayo sauce. The chicken was cooked precisely and not dried out. The corn snack was good. Now the lunch special fish with rice and beans, amazing the fish was cooked perfectly and damn usually fish can be bland, but how they seasoned it man, never had a fish so flavorful, rice was good and for the beans, could been softer, also love how they arranged the red onions on top of the fish with the hard boiled eggs to make look like a flower.

Stopped here after a soccer game! This place was a gem! The food was amazing. We had Lomo, empanadas, chicken, and a few other things that we ate so fast didn't get to take pictures. The service was wonderful!!! If you are in the area it's a must!

After visiting the Woodbury Commons outlets, my boyfriend and I stopped by this restaurant for the first time, and overall, it was a great experience. We started with the chorizo in red wine, which was just okay--the sauce could've been thicker, but it wasn't bad. I ordered the churrasco steak, which was absolutely delicious, and the sauce paired perfectly. The rice and beans were amazing. My boyfriend had the Lomo Saltado, which he enjoyed, though he thought the sauce could use a little improvement. What really made the experience memorable was the exceptional hospitality and the welcoming, dog-friendly outdoor atmosphere. While the appetizer didn't blow us away, the menu offers so many options that we're excited to try more on our next visit. The pisco sour was also a standout--tasting authentic and true to Peruvian culture. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Food, Service and Ambiance are aligned with each other, all great! Let's talk about my daughter's meal of rice beans and breaded cutlet was a hit! Not a morsel left on the plate and a thumbs up from her! Causa was tasty, Chorizo in Vino Tinto delicious would love more bread to dunk Pulpo Gallego and batata majado was yum! Let's talk about drinks! The Chichuation... aka Chica Morado with rum is Valium in a cup... the Spanish Beer Estrella is a true star! Now on to the main event: Churasco was cooked to temp and well served with. Plate of rice and beans and platanos maduros perfection! Lomo Saltado was tender and delicious. All was delicious and I felt as if I was back in Queens where these sorts of dishes are easily accessible. Up here it's a gem, a treasure of food from both worlds!

I wanted so badly to like this place. The server was delightful. Friendly & attentive with a warm smile.... But unfortunately, the food wasn't so good. I had the salmon with veggies & plantains. Veggies were delicious but salmon, not so much. Ambiance was super cute. Ate inside since the weather was questionable. Outside looks like a great time in nice weather! If you live close by, check it out but I wouldn't travel for it.

I have visited various Peruvian Restaurants in Queens, Manhattan and Hartford. There a 2 that I continue to go out of my way to purchase food from. When we moved to Rockland County, our options for Peruvian food was limited. We were excited but wary to try this restaurant. Inka Terra's food was surprisingly delicious. We tried multiple small plates that made our mouth water. We also purchased 2 whole rotisserie chickens and a large portion of their chaufa rice to take home. It was delicious and we highly recommend it. Their "green sauce" was not the best that we have tasted, but we will not hold them against it. The restaurant has a great ambience. They played some truly good music. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We will definitely return with some friends in tow.

I'm going to start easy because this was a soft opening and will rate as fairly as possible until they are fully opened and ready. We went there with reservations and as soon as we got in no one was there to greet us or sit us down. We had to stop a waitress and ask about our reservation and where do we sit. The place is small enough that anyone that works there can obviously see people walking in. Easily anyone could have stated "Welcome to Inka Terra, someone will be right with you". No dedicated host. After 15 minutes we were seated and placed drink orders. When drinks arrived we ordered all appetizers and main courses. After an hour wait we had to notify our waitress that people coming in after us were getting appetizers and we were still waiting. The food came out after about an hour and fifteen minutes. Not to take away from the staff that were working hard, most were by the bar area getting drinks, people were coming in and waiting by the door. We saw a couple wait 15 minutes and left. The young bar back that was there gets five stars for realizing that customers were getting frustrated and went to all the tables asking if people needed drinks which made the situation much better as many customers were sitting with empty drink glasses on the table. The outside dining space, although large and accommodating was a little too cold to be outside despite the outdoor heaters. Maybe if they got some of those cool igloos the outside dining would be awesome there. For the restaurant I would say a dedicated host/hostess to seat guests, a dedicated person to take soda, water orders from the waiter/waitress, and a way to keep the doors closed in the winter because every time the door opened it was cold. Let's get to the food. We ordered the tostones with guacamole. The tostones were freshly made and the guacamole was delicious. We also had the chorizo in wine sauce that was very juicy and tasted great. We had the lomo saltaudo, a true Peruvian dish and it did not disappoint. The meat was delicious and tender. It had a great presentation and very filling. This place has all the works of being a five star location once the small bumps are dealt with. Once fully opened I will update my review and look forward to going back again.

    Skirt steak and rotisserie chicken

So happy we stopped by at Inka Terra for dinner! While their skirt steak is undeniably amazing, it's the chicken that steals the show, with its superb seasoning and absolute deliciousness. What sets Inka Terra apart is the personal touch--the owner greets everyone, making guests feel truly welcomed. It's a must-visit for both food aficionados and those craving genuine hospitality. Cozy place with delicious food and nice ambiance! What else you need?!

They offer chorizo, 2 types of paella (seafood vs meat) and gazpacho. The seafood paella is my go to, and it's the best I've ever had. They do not skimp on the portion or the quality; it had shrimp, calamari, clams, mussels and scallops. It's all top quality and delicious. Price point is downright cheap, especially compared to others who gouge at the street fair (looking at you, PikNik bbq). Chorizo is also good quality, and a cheap meal unto itself. Other options at the Street Fair are good too (ie: Taqueria Poblanita nearby), however I will never stop loading up on the good stuff here.

The food is still great. We had scallops, chorizo, brussels sprouts, and a flounder ceviche special. Everything was delicious. The ceviche in particular stood out -- fresh, well-portioned, and nicely "cooked" in lime juice. The sangria is still a highlight too. A big carafe, no ice watering it down, served with glasses full of fruit. The problem is the service. They had two servers and one bus person, and it showed. Everyone seemed to be scrambling, and it was hard to get a moment of attention to ask for anything or even be heard. Our food came out in pieces -- three items, then a long delay, then another. The last dish, calamari, never came. When I tried to tell the waiter we didn't want it anymore if it was forgotten, he didn't listen and insisted on bringing it anyway. We ended up waiting even longer, which just made the experience more frustrating. To top it off, they're now adding an operating/service fee (around 3-4%), which wasn't clearly communicated and just showed up on the bill. It's disappointing because the food is still very good, but the service issues -- and now the added fees -- are taking away from the experience. After this visit, we'll think twice before coming back.

We ordered fried calamari misto (fantastic!), bacalao croquettes, polenta crostini, and Olar salad (simple but delicious) to start. For our mains, the paella Valenciana and mariscada salsa verde were profuse with fresh seafood - and the mussels and clams were delightfully fat and plump. The grilled skirt steak, which we requested medium rare, was perfectly cooked. Complimentary garlic herb crostini is brought to the table, and we were given fresh crusty-chewy rosemary focaccia bread brushed with olive oil as well.
