Went in to get my radiator fans checked out. Turns out they were fine and I was just worried about no thing. My friend and I took her truck to have the "door locks"s repaired. They had it for a total of 3 1/2 hrs. We left it there & went to the store, and when we returned we had to ask them to bring it out front after they never called us to come back and pick it up. Yet after 3hours they still asked us to wait an additional 20min. Then we saw the mechanic high tailing her truck back into the lot from somewhere else... which they called a "test drive" when we asked them why? I also didn't like the fact that the customers are unable to see their vehicles once they take it in and lock the gate.. But all that time just to replace a simple FUSE???... While driving away, 30mins later, her transmission D5 gear lights started flashing on the dash, and the maintenance light came on... But who test takes 3 1/2 hours & test drives a car just to replace a simple fuse? read more

He not only took care of the routine electrical problems on those vehicles he also worked on my 1984 Buick Century which needed a lot of electrical work. They quoted him a price significantly lower than the price they gave me when I called. Maybe because I'm a woman.... If any women need electrical work from these guys, I suggest you have a man talk to them.... So frustrating. Also, the guy answering the phone REFUSED to give me his name. This is my second time I have visited Akram Auto, the first time I brought my Alternator and after a small wait they told me that nothing was wrong with it and instead of taking advantage of the situation, Akram stayed honest and that honesty will continue to give them a trusted rating by people. I have an old 70's A body muscle car and It's places like Akram Auto that I look for because you can't always find a part for your car if It's not a vehicle in the past 20 years. I brought my 40 year old starter in on Saturday and they told me they would have it back to me on Monday; the price they gave me is very fair and costs about the same if I were to purchase a new starter. As a young lady who only knows basic information about cars this place was the absolute BEST. My car lights were extremely dim so I turned to old faithful Google and it said it could potentially be my alternator going bad. The staff at Akram auto were very patient even with all my questions and having to call back multiple time because I genuinely didn't know what I was dealing with pricing and labor etc. Thank god they tested my alternator and were HONEST about the condition of my car that the alternator was perfectly fine!! I had gotten two other in person quotes and they "tested" the Alternator and said it needed immediate replacement and we're trying to charge me some serious money. Lucky I found this place while in search for the best value place to get it fixed and they were to be my holy grail. Turned out just being my light bulbs that needed replacing!! They didn't even charge me to test the alternator, unlike the other two shop I went into get quotes from. They saved me some serious money, were honest and had the best price out of the five local mechanic shops that I had called/visited. I just talked with my 92 year old mother who lives in Ontario, Ca. She had her 1999 Buick towed to your shop by AAA because it would not start. She told the tow truck driver to remind the repair shop that when the battery cables are disconnected that the fuel gauge would over rotate to past full to almost empty this is a common issue with this model Buick. This was the first time to Akram Auto Electric but they came recommended. As it turns out the tow truck driver did not deliver the message. THE FOLLOWING UNEXPECTED THINGS HAPPENED: her car was fixed on time, for a very fair price, in a clean shop, clean employees who were masked for the virus and not for robbery that usually happens in an auto repair shop.
