7/31/2018 UPDATE!!!! Bike was delivered to my house in Cali and what can I say!!! Bike was in better condition than when I bought it. How is that possible you say? The stock exhaust had a scratch on it (probably from moving bikes around at the end of the day). I knew it when I bought and made a joke to them about it, but really didnt care because I was replacing it anyways with a Graves. I guess it mattered to them because it was a fresh exhaust. Do not worry about buying from these guys. Also, they handled my bike to the shippers flawlessly. read more

If there was an option to give zero stars I would have selected that option. I purchase jet skis from the Forney location and had such terrible experiences with their customer service and warranty coverage. I chose to make my next purchase at the Yamaha dealership on Plano Rd. Imagine my concern when Ride Now purchased that location. I had hopes my previous experiences wouldn't resurface at a different location and different staff. Well it's been 2 years since the change and I will never buy or have my equipment serviced by this company. Set your expectations as low as possible if you plan on getting anything serviced or repaired. Plan on calling 8 - 10 time to get through & to get answers. Take my suggestion, steer clear and avoid this company completely. The location won't matter! read more

Holy hell what a sht show. Went in and negotiated a Segway UT10P crew about 3 months ago. Went home to pick up my trade and back for pick-up. Nothing was really ready and tons of fees added on. Anyone making a deal, 100% pay attention to the add-ons and unpacking fees. Either way, compromised and made the deal. Salesman quit the next day and didn't put my spare key in the bag, but said he gave it to GM. Parts thrown in for free by GM and said Key would be mailed, but never received. 5 weeks later, major parts failure. Lots of promises and finger pointing between Segway and Service department. 3 months later, called and was told ready for pickup. Went to pick it up. Rear differential oil all over undercarriage (literally dripping) . Backed decals from sitting outside in sun for months. All interior trim just thrown in back seat. Service guy said he's the only one working and it was gonna be a while before he could get ti me. Enough time that I noticed keys were in it, loaded up, ran for about 20 min, went back in and waited, and just left with my SxS. No follow-up to see if I even left with it. Bought lots of new vehicles, RVs, ATVs, etc. This is hands down the worst. Avoid at all costs. Go anywhere else. read more

I bought a new 2024 Polaris RZR saw it online and they gave me such a good deal, that I could not refuse It. I did not have a trailer at the moment and they offered to deliver it to my home. Cameron was my sales guy which he worked hard In giving me a good deal and making the process go smooth. I have purchased from them before and I will keep on coming back. Nice store and staff, however I looked to buy a Ranger recently that was fairly priced on the internet at about $12k. With about $3k of adds and over $2k in labor, plus other fees and hidden charges, the first price ended up around $27k! After some discussion, they got the price down to around $21k. Not sure how this is supposed to be a good deal when the price doubles from the advertised price even with some add ons. Needless to say, I didn't buy the bike. In the end, it was a big waste of time and my only advice is to get them to tell you all of the details before making a drive to see it. Hope others don't have the same experience. read more

Saw a listing on their site for multiple Seadoo Spark watercrafts listed at $9,099. Went to buy one for cash today and the salesperson tells me out the door without a trailer will cost about $14,000. Talk about a bait and switch. They do have the fine print at the bottom that states you'll pay extra for dealer fees, but an additional $5K is a bit steep. Definitely seems to be false advertising and price gouging in my opinion. Not surprised the place has such poor reviews. What a shame. Can't imagine having to work here and tell customers what the real prices are. read more

I bought a brand new 2018 Yamaha Waverunner VX Cruiser HO plus 6 pre-paid maintenance services which costs $1700 just for the pre-paid services from Freedom Powersports in Dallas. Lucas Homan was not the manager at the time I bought my waverunner. In total I paid about $20,000 cash for everything. My waverunner only has 15.1 hours on it and I spoke with the service manager, Mike, and he told me I have 3 services left worth about $800. Mike and I met with Lucas the manager and Lucas said if I want to transfer my 3 pre-paid services over to a brand new jet ski I just purchased, it would cost me $250. I told Lucas I would be willing to pay something but to pay another $250 when you already had the $800 for pre-paid maintenance services I paid over a year go, brings my value down to $550. If I give Lucas another $250 to get instead of $800 worth of services I already paid for, I would only get $550 doesn't make any sense. I asked Lucas if he would be willing to work with me since he is the manager. I told him I would be willing to pay something but $250 is not logical. He said no. For $250, Freedom Powersports and all of their other locations in Farmers Branch and Lewisville, will never get any business from me, my family, friends and clients. I am a business owner too and I would be willing to work with a $250 difference to get additional sales from a customer who spent $20k cash just a year ago at my store. I hope the founder of this company, Kevin Lackey, reads these messages and re-evaluates the general manager he has in place. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! WOULD BE LESS THAN ONE STAR IF IT WAS AN OPTION. NO ONE SHOULD USE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THIS PLACE. BE LEARY OF POSATIVE REVIEWS. On August 30, 2016, I dropped off my 2012 Polaris Ranger Crew for the following service: (1) front axle replacement; (2) oil change and replace stripped drain plug; and (3) replace winch cable. I was told that it would take about two weeks. It took them over 2 MONTHS to complete the service, meaning I wasn't able to pick up the machine until November 2, 2016. I was lied to about the reason for the delay. They told me they would discount my bill for the trouble, which they did--$20 discount on over $1,000 worth of service. To ice the cake, the repair was so pathetic that I had to take it to another shop for an additional $1,000 of repair. When I called to see if I could pick the machine up three weeks after I dropped it off, I was told by "Mike" that it wouldn't be ready because they hadn't had time to get to. This threw a monkey wrench in our "work weekend" to finish getting ready for deer season. Another three weeks went by before I called again to pick up the machine, this time I was told by Mike that it wasn't ready because they had ordered the wrong part. This ruined a $1700 bow hunt that couldn't be refunded. Then, when I called two weeks after that, I went over the repairs they had done, where I learned that they had forgot to replace the stripped drain plug. Finally, when I went to pick it up 9 weeks after I dropped it off, I was apologized to by the service manager, who told me the reason for the delay because of they were swamped dealing with recall repairs--the first time I had heard that excuse. Upon delivery, they explained to me that the turning radius was limited due to the A-arms being too short for the lift. When actually driving the machine, the issue was way worse than they let on, as you could not hardly turn the steering wheel without bad sounding issues with the suspension. IN THE FOUR YEARS WE HAVE HAD THIS MACHINE WE HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM. Because I need this machine for the rest of my hunting season, and I didn't want to wait another 2 months for Freedom to fix their mess, I decided to take it to a shop my buddy's wife owns. Even with the "friend" discount, it cost me another $1,000 to fix the mess Freedom made. read more

Showed up at the showroom with an email thread going with a salesman. We looked at the ATV I wanted & started on a price. He took it to the manager, I waited around for 10 minutes, came back with different, told him where I wanted to be... you know the routine. Told him I was leaving it he didn't come back in a few minutes with a straight yes or no. Agreed on the price, shook hands, wrote down the info, & told the salesman I'd be back in an hour or so to pick it up & pay the bill. He said it'd be ready. It wasn't ready when I got back. I left the checkbook on the counter, so I asked if they took credit cards. Yes at a 1.5% surcharge. I decided to save that and just go to the bank... it'd give them a chance to get everything ready. I asked for the price & he had to go back & forth to the manager 3 times to get the price.... I left. Staff was friendly from the time I walked in the door, but the slimey sales tactics began shortly after. I will not go back for parts, service, or toys. read more

BEWARE. I've been here twice to service my two sea doos. They are constantly trying to sell services that are not scheduled or necessary. They initially quote a reasonable price, but that price is only the labor. They fail to tell you about the multiple other charges. So, a $130 oil change is really $200 (they charge you for a kit, then they charge you for general shop supplies, then they charge you for freight). I think their real game is to get you to bite on another service item or two that you don't need and that isn't scheduled. By the looks of other reviews, it looks this is a consistent issue. read more

Still, one star Lower if I could leave no stars. I went to drain the carburater, for the first time, only to discover that the igmotard that assembled my bike had boogered upthe drain plug. It appears that the "pro" that assembled my bike didn't know the difference between a standard philps head and a Japanese Industrial Standard Philips, and cammed out all the JIS fasteners on the carb with a standard driver. Now I have get the damaged screws off, and then pull the carb, then get the messed up drain plug out, and then replace it at my expense. Avoid this stealership at all cost. read more

My wife and I found ourself in the market for a Seadoo Switch. They are hard to come by at this time but Andrew Moore kept us well informed on when we could stop by to see one. He sent us multiple follow ups, very professional and informative. Andrew was very helpful and kind in his approach to informing us on everything about the boat as well as the process to get one. We initially took some steps, financial commitments to this location in hopes to making this process less strenuous. This business seemed more interested in earning our trust and business than being overly concerned about the bottom line. Due to some unforseen circumstances we had to pull out of our commitment and Andrew, along with Freedom Powersports Dallas, made sure we were fully refunded and did so in a manor making us feel like this is the place to keep shopping at. This is the worst place i have ever done business with. They will lie and decieve you just to get your money. They add charges to you that do not even exsist. They tell you your payment is one thing and then its a lot more when you get your bill. The only person there that is worth keeping is Robby. He is the one that uncovered everything after a year of fighting with them. The general manager is a joke. Told me he would call me in 24 hours and glad i didnt hold my breathe cause its been over 6 months. Tried calling him multiple times and never heard back. Pretty much they will screw you in any way. I went with my sister and brother in law to this store to bring in his Ranger for servicing. I was totally blown away by the service we received while there! Everybody we passed by said hello and asked if we were being helped. My bro-in-law told the guy at the service desk, I think his name was Nick, what the issue was, he'd bought the Ranger last year and Nick called over the manager to talk to us. The service manager, Chris, actually walked us over to a little table in the kitchen area so we could sit down and talk about what was going on with the Ranger. 10 minutes later we were in the parking lot handing it over and then we were gone. They told me I could test ride a bike then when I showed up the manager changed his mind and decided to not allow me to ride a used bike. I bought a bike elsewhere the same day. saved lots of money by the way. I tried to give them my business again in the service department and the guy there was rude and certainly not appreciative of my business. I simply wanted a new rear tire and he acted as if he was doing me a favor. The last straw was that they left my bike out over night in the rain. Bought side x side Friday. Realized over the weekend the paper work they gave me added over 9k in a finance charge. They are closed on Mondays. Went back up the Tues thinking it was an honest mistake as the staff was super friendly on Friday. The finance guys argued saying that was the interest over the coarse of the loan. I told them no it did not add up at all.. Loan 17,125.00 at 12.99% is NOT almost 10K in interest!! They still argued and said the 10K was correct. Also, said it is a DONE deal and would not cancel deal. Ummm no I just bought this Friday and today is Tues. I am almost POSITIVE they finance guys are trying to pocket that 10K. Called about a Scooter they had listed on Craig List. I asked for the price. The salesman said it was $2499. I told him I was in Shreveport. I drove 3 hours to go get it. He took $ 200 off the price. But when came back with an invoice he had added about $600 back on for different fees. He should have let me know the $2499 was not a total price before I drove 3 hrs over and 3 hrs bach and took off work a day and spent $100 on gas. Bad way to do business. read more

I took a 2010 WR250R into Freedom Power Sports because it wouldn't start. After $275 for diagnosis they said the motor had no compression. I questioned their diagnosis and made sure they checked the fuel system since it did not seem to be getting any fuel. They said the fuel system was working fine but the engine hade no compression. I took their word for it and removed the engine and had a motorcycle machine shop rebuild the top end of the engine. This motorcycle had 1500 miles on it and Freedom Power Sports service department said the issue was compression. I told them it would start and run on starting fluid but they dismissed that. To make a long story short. I got it back together and it still would not start. The fuel pump was pumping but would not pump enough fuel to feed the injector. I put a new pump on the WR250r and it roared to life. I will never let Freedom Power Sports work on anything I own. Over $1000 flushed down the toilet because they could not diagnose a simple fuel pressure issue. They were very condescending and basically told me they were the "experts" and it was not a fuel issue. read more

Purchased a new rzrxp1000 from this place. Had the machine delivered on a wed and woke up Thursday to a leaking shock. Took it back to the dealer and first thing out of the salesman mouth go talk to the service department. Pointed toward the service area and didn't even walk me back there or anything, just kept talking to another employee. Next I talked to the service manager which was a mistake. They must make money off of not covering repairs on a 20,000 machine. He was rude and could careless if I had issues with my new machine. I never got the shock repaired I'm going to go aftermarket. If you get a rzr get the Fox shocks not the walker Evans. Then had issues with the Battery due to a bad cell confirmed by interstate battery. The service department at this location charged my battery and said it won't take a full charge but you should be ok just put a battery tender on it. The battery tender has been on the battery for a week and still says charging. Had to purchase a new battery and haven't had any issues since. Never heard anything back from the dealer about my issue and I'm sure I won't they could care less. Do you research on the service department before you buy a 20,000 machine. I took the rzr to a new dealer and they are much better!! I am going to be purchasing a 4 seater turbo and I will not be buying it from this dealer they are a JOKE! read more
