My taste buds were very happy. My personal favorite are the Al Pastor tacos (pork) and the Lengua (cow tongue). Trust me, once you were the words "cow tongue" you freak out, but it is amazing. This is my favorite place to eat! I wish I could bring their seared ahi burritos with me back to college. I highly recommend the Fresh Fish Tacos and Fish burritos. The fish is always freshly caught by local fishermen. If you're vegetarian they've got yummy veggie options too. Also try their freshly made chips and salsa. I love getting it with my fish taco meal because I can dip the chips in my beans and rice too. The lady in the front, Aunty Faun, is the sweetest person ever and will make you feel part of the Alpastor family. The chef Paulino always puts love into his meals. Each plate is beautifully presented and you can't resist not stopping to take a picture. Perfect for after a long day at the beach or right before an adventure. Be mindful that there is only one chef back there so if you're stoping before going to the airport call your order in. I'd give it a better rating even though they're very pricy for a food truck. $11.00 for two tacos. I ordered "al pastor" tacos. The name of this truck is exactly that. I thought wow nice these guys must have delicious tacos. They even have a picture of the meat and the way it's cooked. It's a red meat that's been marinated in sun dried peppers. Making the meat turn red. Lost of flavor. And it's a lot of onion and they're very thin pork stakes, that get shaved in to a delicious tortilla to make a delicious taco. One of the most famous tacos of Mexico. But the tacos I got were plain thick pork meat cooked as a steak and then chopped. Lots of fat and no flavor. Literally it's just the meat. Then salsa and guacamole and poco de gallo. It's nothing like an al pastor taco. You think they would know since they have pictures of the tacos all around their truck. At first I thought, maybe they messed up. But then I remembered that the guy that took my order asked the cook if he had enough stuff to make the al pastor tacos. He replied yes. Then he brought them to me. With a piece of pineapple and like 3 slices of grilled onion. Only al pastor tacos have a piece of grilled pineapple. So I knew those were right. But definitely not Al Pastor. The meat was plain and not marinated. I never complain. But if you think your getting good Mexican food this isn't the place. I will say their beans were very good and so was the rice. But for $11 for two tacos. I expect them to at least have the flavor of the actual food being sold. They were nice. Does not taste very authentic. The sign in front read "Authentic Mexican Tacos" I think they were lying. I ordered the chicken tacos although meaty, tasted as though they had used Costco rotisserie chicken in them. They were topped off with what tasted like- again Costco Pico de Gallo sauce.
