Save yourself and your family from disappointment and DO NOT go here. Granted, I am visiting and my home town has high quality Mexican food, but this food was absolutely diabolical. Service is OK, had a nice conversation with the hostess...but that food was downright abhorrent. $17 for chicken nachos with no cheese, maybe a spoonful of scrap meat, and dripping wet from the refried beans, watery salsa, and guac. It was terrible. My girlfriend got huevos rancheros and said it had no flavor; she got hot sauce which added nothing but more wetness. Always happy to support small businesses but for the love of God learn how to cook a decent meal if you're opening a restaurant. read more

The food was absolutely amazing!!! Anyone who says otherwise IS WRONG!!! The service is incredible, Luke does a great job running the restaurant. He greets everyone well and will stop to talk story. I'm gluten free and basically everything on the menu is gluten free and no cross contamination! If you're gluten free definitely come here. Worst meal of our trip, potentially worst meal of the year (visited in Dec 2025). Due to the previous reviews, we gave this place a try but I am actually considering that these are fake 5-star reviews. We arrived at 7pm on a Monday night and my husband and I got the last table on their patio. The water tasted off, a chemical flavor. The $8 horchata was warm and no ice added and less than 12 ounces. We ordered a canned coke, beef nachos and the fish taco plate. Our order took over 50 minutes to come out and did not look like the pictures on Google reviews. The nachos were the most basic, college kid made version and ingredients were not fresh, packaged tasting. The tacos were way over cooked with hardly any fish, no sauce, no flavor. The beans and rice were also terrible. The service was also non-existent. Someone took our order but then no one checked on our table at all until the food came out. So no refills, no chips or anything while we waited. Once we were ready to leave, you pay at the front so there really is not a need for table service. This place needs a business consultant and fresh ingredients. Mexican food should not take so long, and it was actually quite bizarre and concerning. read more

Service was awesome. We started with chips and salsa. We asked for both red and green salsa. Both were equally good. We ordered fajitas and brisket nachos. Both were good. My only suggestion is leave the bbq sauce off the brisket. Maybe me only but I would just prefer the meat without it when on a nacho dish. Plenty of water refills. This newly-opened Mexican place has leaned into making their sauces and salsas authentically Mexican. The beans are creamy and flavorful, while still being vegetarian. The rice has a delicious hint of oregano. Everything was freshly prepared and served cheerfully. The outdoor, covered patio offers cool breezes and views of the hibiscus. We had a fantastic Saturday night dinner. We were seated immediately. Nice outdoor and covered patio where we could hear live music. We ordered chips, salsa, and guacamole. All seemed homemade--the chips came out hot. Among us we had the tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, and burrito. Everyone was really happy--delicious and the perfect portion size. First of all great food and that's all that really matters. I'm from San Diego CA so I know Mexican food and this was good. Things to note: not a huge restaurant. All outdoor seating. If it's busy, service will be slow but I know that's because it seems to be a family running it and they're making everything to order. So relax, enjoy the company. Portions are a bit smaller than I'm used to but probably don't need to eat more. Not a splitting type of place though in my opinion. No alcohol- just FYI. Ate here for dinner after finding Da Crack was unexpectedly closed. Completely underwhelmed on every dish we ordered. Charging for chips and salsa, ok fine, it's Mexican on a Hawaiian island. Charging for a salsa refill, uncool. My two taco plate was $20 and comically small. It looked like it came off the kids menu. Refried beans straight out of a can. Rice was cold. Food was fantastic. Highly recommend the fajitas. And if you're with kids... This is the best spot because the kids can play on the grass while you wait for food and they're totally visible to you. Currently it is BYOB as they work to get their liquor licensee. But was super easy to grab beers at the store in the shopping center. Highly recommend especial for families. read more

The pictures look nothing like the real thing if you get " to go." Super dry, zero salsa, 2 pieces of chicken in my bowl. All in all, a complete disappointment. Maybe, tho, that's just how they go to go orders. Lighten them up cuz they're not there to complain. Won't go back. Go to Pacos Tacos instead. We ordered takeout for lunch today and had such a great experience. The service was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! We tried the shrimp tacos, rice and beans, a chicken burrito, and a chicken quesadilla. Everything was wonderful, but our favorite was definitely the chicken quesadilla--it was packed with so much flavor. We can't wait to go back again.
