I understand only wanting customers to use it but there's ways to talk to people and it's not like she was in there tearing up the place but was told that by getting change there she's breaking down a 7,000$ machine! the entire encounter was just ridiculous and so u professional. Again I'm not saying my daughter was in the right by getting change there to use elsewhere but u don't have to be hateful and verbally aggressive to someone either. So just beware bc she seems pretty confrontational for very minor things!

Not sure if they're in the process of renovating but even when I came here few months back, it still looked the same so I don't think they're in a renovating process or it would have been done by now. Quarters use to give 7 minutes and now they give 5 minutes. You'll get your basic laundry needs done here if you're just coming to wash and dry clothes. I personally haven't used their services but seems like they're great base on other reviews. There's some cute decors around the place now but the place is absolutely filthy which is ironic when it's a place you come to get your clothes cleaned. Machines are dusty, found pet hair or some kind of fur in some machines, floors are dirty, and it looks like someone was sleeping here and left their blanket here. A worker came in and didn't even bother getting rid of it. There's wooden boards around the place too and benches are dirty which sucks if you want to just stay, relax, and wait for your laundry. Some pros: they have a vending machine for snacks and laundry needs and they have a scan and pay on some of their machines.

I picked up my linen suit and inspected it. I found this very faint white stain on the bottom of my pants leg. I was standing outside because inside Sunny Dry Cleaners is dark. When I brought it to the person who was working inside, they said it was the suits design. I even tried to ask them to look at it outside since it's dark inside the business, they refused and continued to say it was the suits design and refused to take responsibility. I left, but was very frustrated because there was a break down in communication and lake of ownership of responsibility. My suit was a custom order. I would never recommend this place!

Instead of patronizing and gaslighting me, he could of simply tried to at least returned it clean as courtesy. I paid and again left frustrated. I don't understand how anyone does business like this. Also overpriced at 2.50 for a small box of Tide and Downy. I had to run down the hill to a local convenience store to get a travel sized liquid Tide (at least that was only 2 bucks). Laundromat is also very dirty and not well kept at all. They dryers appear to be brand new and the washing machines appear to be in newer condition. At least the dryers are .25 to operate. To sum it up, do not patronize this business unless you're in dire need as I was (visiting, on foot).

Based on all these glowing yelp reviews, I decided to try this place out - NEVER AGAIN! First, I called ahead to check out the process and I told the guy I needed some shirts laundered and hung - just how it says on their website. He told me they would be able to pick it up, get it done, and drop it off the next day. Sounds great right?? Then he told me they would be here to pick up at 4pm...I got a call at 3:30 saying I had "rescheduled" and that he was outside - I never even called them! Not sure how they screwed that up. Then he said he would come back at 4:30. I call at 5pm and he said he will be here in 15 mins and shows up finally at 5:30pm. When I proceeded to give him my clothes, he said they wouldn't be ready for another 4 days! When I brought up our prior phone conversation in which he said they would be ready the next day, he claimed that he told me that it was next day only for wash and fold. I've wasted half my afternoon waiting for the pickup only to find out they couldn't return the clothes for another 4 days, and to top it off, I was accused of not clearly understanding our phone conversation. RIDICULOUS. This place either needs some more support staff or needs to stop committing to so many orders/customers. Great concept, but horrible customer service. read more

I'm so glad I found alabaster. I'm allergic to dyes and fragrances from detergents, so I've looked a long time to find a place that doesn't make me itch. Alabaster is it! Their prices are totally reasonable and their delivery is very reliable. What finally prompted me to write a review after using them for a year is that when I did have a problem with a recent delivery they went out of their way to make it right, which honestly it was really surprising to see a company do that at their own expense when they didn't have to. Five stars for their regular service and five more for handing problems if I could give it to them! read more

These folks take so much care with both the laundry and cleaning that I thought they were me. It took me a few months to get over the sustained disasters from RINSE, where my socks were reduced to toddler size and my Frette sheets were lost. I don't even know what that means but please avoid this place.

If you ever find yourself peering into a tote bag, and can't see the contents, take it to Sunshine Cleaners. BTW re: lining cloth -- you probably have the cloth you need in your house somewhere. I provided them with an old pillowcase for Tote Bag Lining Project #1, and with an old light-colored surgical gown for Tote Bag Lining Project #2.

The guy at the front tried to ring it up but could not find a button for sofa cushion cover and instead picked "blanket" as the quote ($36). My cover for one cushion was nowhere the size or thickness of a blanket- it's at most the size of two king pillow cases. But I was in a pinch and the other cleaners few blocks away was closed for vacation. I decided to just pay it to give it a shot and if they did a good job, I would bring the other cushion covers. He gave me a pick up time and date of Friday at 5pm and said he would call me. Friday at 5pm arrived and I did not receive any call. I tried calling them and they didn't pick up. They were about to close at 6pm so I headed over there to ask in person. The same guy was there and said he would get my cushion cover. It came folded, hanging on a hanger and in a plastic cover. I paid and went home to find that all the gray stains were still there. It's one thing to be a cleaner and not be able to clean things properly. But it's another thing to be dishonest. The least he could do was tell me they weren't able to remove the stain, and offer me some sort of refund. But to fold it and hide it in a way that it couldn't be visible is not cool. I will not be back.
